Hello! I'm Melissa and pregnant with our first (EDD Feb 22). In February I was diagnosed with PCOS and did two unsuccessful rounds of clomid. This round we went with letrozole and follistim injection with a trigger shot and timed intercourse. I found out I was pregnant the same weekend I hyperstimulated so needless to say it's wasn't smiles and sunshine from the beginning. I ended up gaining 10 lbs of fluid and had 1.2 liters drained - two days later the bloat was virtually gone. I'm finally feeling normal again and can now enjoy the pregnancy. No symptoms other than exhaustion (new bedtime of about 8 pm). We heard the heartbeat for the first time yesterday (6w0d, h/b of 97 bpm) and I haven't stopped smiling since. I can't wait for my next appt to see him/her again!! I still can't believe I have a baby growing in my belly! Blessed to say the least!!!

Hi! I'm Nicole. I live in the Midwest and am 32. My husband and I have been married for 5 years and have been trying to get pregnant for 2+ years. It was a struggle getting to this point but ended up trying IVF and it worked the first time. We got pregnant once last year but had a miscarriage at 6 weeks. Prior to that I had to have surgery to correct a rare birth defect where my uterus was shaped like a heart making it hard for an embryo to attach. I've been so educated and amazed by all they can do through science and IVF treatment in this process and am so grateful it has worked for us finally!

Yay another kiwi I'm Branka, my husband and I currently live in Christchurch (I'm originally from Auckland) I'm 32 and husband is 33. First baby and excited but also nervous!! I hope your build is going well - we built our house a year ago in a new subdivision - but didn't deviate much from a standard plan from the building co as we were organising from Auckland and wanted it to be easy. We hope to build again in a few years and have more input with the design! Currently my due date is 10 Feb... I'm feeling a bit hideous at the moment - constant nausea pretty much! Hi! I'm Jordan, I'm 26 and hubby is 32, and we just found out I'm pregnant with our second child. We've been married 5 years and it took us 2.5 to conceive DS, who's now 13.5 months. We have been NTNP since DS was 8 months. I am still breastfeeding him about 4-5 times a day, so I haven't had a period in about 2 years and had no idea how far along I might be. Blood test today showed I'm between 4-6 weeks, will know a EDD in two weeks after u/s. So I'm due either late February or early March. I am looking forward to being a part of the group, I lurked when pregnant with DS. Hoping to have some accountability for staying fit and healthy during this pregnancy, since with the last one I gained *cringe* 70lb and was placed on bed rest for high blood pressure (have since lost 65lb with Whole30 and being active). Previously I worked as a pediatric RN and now I'm home full time with my DS. Excited to be here!
Hi! I am 35 and DH is 39. We have a 5 year old, Brayden. After suffering a missed m/c in Feb after having heard the heartbeat a week prior we are 5 wks/5 days. I am on pins and needles but feel pretty good other than exhaustion and headaches lately. We are hoping for a sweet baby girl! Appt on July 20 for first u/s. Hope all goes well this time. Cannot wait for that first appt!
Hello! My name is Theresa and I am also from the DC area. My EDD is 2/10. I found out we were pregnant completely by surprise. I'd previously been told I would probably need fertility treatments, so after my 30th birthday I decided to start getting tested so I could come up with a game plan. When I was having a sonogram to look at my ovaries, she pointed out the sac to me. I was estimated to be around 3 weeks. I was so surprised but very excited. I'm now 8 weeks along. I had a bleed around 4 weeks, but my SCH has shrunk in size so I'm feeling pretty optimistic! Great to "meet" you all!

Hi my name is Brianna. I am 22 and having my second child. The father is 27 this baby is also his second. We have known each other since 2010 but we never got around to actually expressing that we liked one another till 2013. I was about to get a nasty divorce and found out I was pregnant with my daughter. So last year I just ran into him at a store and we have been together since. I am extremely happy considering I have PCOS and was never supposed to have one child and I'm on my second. I am a little worried my daughter is only 10 months old right now. His son is 7 years old and very excited about getting a brother or sister. This is actually something we were trying to prevent. In may I had a false positive and we started to be more careful. well I got pregnant that same month! We were in shock for a week or so but yesterday we had our first ultrasound and he fell in love. I am very excited to say this baby is coming and my EDD o's February 21st 2016. I am also glad I have this community to share with and talk to if there are any other mothers that have kids close like I will be any advice is greatly appreciated

They were so excited about the pregnancy that they decided to "act it out" to help us tell my parents lol. We have a beagle and a German Shepard lab mix that love to swim. I am a pediatric hematology and oncology nurse so we'll see how these 12 hour shifts work out towards the end! Hi everyone!! I'm Victoria:). I am 21 about to turn 22 in August. My boyfriend and I have been together for a little while now and we actually met at UME in South Padre, TX as odd as that may sound lol. If anyone even knows what that is. I'm 8 weeks pregnant this Thursday with what I am almost sure of.. is twins:). This pregnancy was absolutely unexpected!! Although at first I was pretty depressed and unsure of what I was going to do... as the days go on I become more and more excited that I made the right decision to put my "big girl panties" on and be the mother that I have always wanted to be. God has blessed me and trust.. it has taken some time to realize that. Of course, all thanks to my parents whose reaction was totally opposite of what I thought it was going to be.. (they are thrilled:)) and thanks to my boyfriend whom has shown nothing but excitement and support. With my mom being a young mom she has been hoping and praying to get prego again with twins for years but it has just not been in God's plan I guess. So her hoping and praying got passed on to me:). Again, I couldn't be happier.. I just wish the pregnancy would go a little faster lol!! Would love to talk and relate to some other moms. All my friends have for me is judgment. Passing the time...I am finding myself watching the clock a lot. I am a public tax accountant (the kind that works 70+ hours a week 6 months out of the year) and my DH works in the oilfield TG not the traveling kind. We also BBQ competitively almost every weekend ( we will see if we can keep it up) We have 3 dachshund fur babies that are our world. We are Due February 20, 2016!!! First OB appt is July 10th!
