Since some of us probably can't stop eating, and also some only like certain things, and we all have crazy food constraints.
I thought it would be fun if people could share what they have been eating these days in an attempt to help each other come up with some new ideas for recipes/things to try.
For breakfast I've been having scrambled eggs with toast and a chocolate instant carnation breakfast made with lactose free milk.
For lunch I've been having roasted potatoes with chicken and cottage cheese
For dinner I've been having chicken mostly (sometimes steak, ground beef) with either pasta or rice and small salad.
Snacks have been yogurt, fruit, crackers when I feel like death, and nuts.
I'm a former lightweight rower so the amount of carbs I've been eating is a little ridic but it helps me feel better and my desire for veggies has decreased significantly in the past 2 weeks and I feel has become a problem for me. Especially since I love veggies and I haven't really been able to work out as I was getting cramps right after a light workout
Re: FOOOOOD
Loaded baked potatoes with a little cheese, Greek yogurt, salsa, and sautéed veggies has been my go-to for awhile.
Morning have been fried egg and gluten free bread for toast, but am going to try breakfast burritos tomorrow
Love this list of go to snacks and am going to incorporate most of the since I'm mobile a lot

Breakfast :
Fruit : helps soothe the nausea especially peach! I usually have 2 pieces of fruit : apple, peach, or banana.
Then 1-2 hrs later I eat a protein bar during work
Lunch : something chicken usually a sandwich
Another snack : protein bar or carrots or fruit
Dinner: varies - last week it was homemade Korean food : rice, vegetables, marinated beef. Now it's mostly take out or we go out because I get nauseous when I cook.
Because I'm not wanting veggies, I make a green smoothie in the morning so I can get something healthy in my belly. I actually look forward to it. I PACK it with:
Spinach
Kale
Cucumbers
Mixed berries
Unsweetened coconut
Plain Greek yogurt
Ice
Water
It's pretty much the only healthy thing I can stomach. 2nd trimester can't come soon enough!!
Breakfast - is usually my daily serving of cranberry juice (doctor ordered). A breakfast bar since this is the only thing that can settle my stomach. If I feel fine then I add a serving of yogurt and a banana with some orange juice.
Lunch - since I work an off shift this is usually my dinner so its some type of salmon (about once a week) or grilled chicken with a salad or veggie with some type of beans for extra protein. If I'm running errands before work and I have to dine out I try to pick a restaurant where I can get a side salad and a bottle of water with my meal instead of french fries and a soda.
Afternoon snack: Since I'm at work I try to pack a snack that I can eat when the afternoon hunger hits - either an apple with some peanut butter, cheese and crackers, popcorn or some type of fruit.
Dinner - I'm always at work during dinner time so usually I'll either pack what every I had for lunch or a salad with some yogurt. A lot of the time my work will host carry in dinners for us that are not always the healthiest (I mentioned Pizza Hut) so I try to pick and choose a healthy option.
Night time snack: If I've skipped dinner because I'm sick to my stomach I try to eat something low calorie when I get home like some fruit or yogurt, or even some crackers with a tablespoon of peanut butter works for me so I'm not going to bed hungry and waking up feeling like I need to eat the kitchen empty. However, there have been times I've craved some grilled chicken or a frozen burrito nuked with a little bit of cheese and avocado.
Although I am limiting what I eat I haven't gotten nausea with any food or even at all!
I have been snacking on raisins, fruits, crackers and cheese.
For dinner I usually eat what ever I cook.
Rice, beans , scrambled eggs, fried sausage, potatoes, steak, pork, chicken, salmon
what ever really.

Almond butter toast has been my morning go to since I got pregnant. I didn't even eat bread before I got pregnant but it seems to be one of the only things to settle my nausea. And the only craving I've had is for chopped salads. Thankful to be craving something healthy this pregnancy.
Lately, bagels with butter have been my go-to breakfast. I usually have a cheese stick as a snack, some boom-chicka-Pop popcorn, sometimes a yogurt or fruit, sometimes chips or something chocolatey.
For lunch I have a frozen dinner because it's the easiest thing to grab on the way out the door to the office. Occasionally I'll do a toasted subway sandwich that I'll also microwave to make sure the meat is steaming.
For dinner, usually chicken or hamburgers or tacos or something with a side of veggies (which I'm finding hard to stomach these days) and maybe some rice.
It's hard to know what to believe.
Breakfast: Scrambled eggs with a little turkey bacon sprinkled in, a piece of toast with a little smart balance (this is as carb light as I can get for breakfast)
snack: apples and some nuts if I can stomach them
Lunch: bunless turkey burger with avocado, tomato, and lots of pickles (the pickles are key)
snack: frozen strawberries
dinner: Boca chick'n meatless patty with veggies
random food eaten when nausea is terrible: crackers, lemons, popsicles, popcorn, baked lays
Today we are having Mr. Hero for dinner and it cannot come soon enough... The other Ohio ladies know about Mr. H, I'm sure!
I have been turned off to chicken, pork, and some beef so I have been eating the following:
Breakfast: piece of cinnamon raisin toat, English muffin with peanut butter, and watermelon
Lunch: either out for fast food or grilled cheese and tomato soup or eggs and toast
Dinner: pizza, pasta, carbs,carbs carbs.
Usually for breakfast I will have toast or eggs and bacon with a smoothie sometimes.
For lunch I usually have Mac and cheese or left overs from dinner the night before.
Dinner it's usually a protein with some kind of roasted veggies and either rice, pasta, or a potatoe.
I snack between meals on fruits. Watermelon is my favorite these days.
I'm just hungry all the time now that I'm not throwing up all day long. I'm still having problems drinking enough water. I'm working on that.
