I'm a newbie and very glad to have had this thread to start with. You all seem like a wonderful group of strong, smart women and I'm excited to be able to learn from you all.
I'm just starting TTC, 35, pregnant once at 24, ended at 18 wks with a terrible D&E. Alot of anxiety and fear that I'm holding at bay. Married almost two years ago to a man with full custody to a then two year old girl. Been working on making that gel and it was rough, but lucky to at least already have gone through the hard part of party of 2 to 3. She refers to herself as a "big sister" because she watches cartoons where there is a baby and an older sister and she hates to be thought of as a baby. So, yeah, it makes for some awkwardness when people meet her and she says I'm a big sister and they look at me or my belly expectantly and I respond "nope not pregnant just gassy" Thanks, kiddo!
Went for hormone levels test last week. Also I'm posted in Trinidad and Tobago for work so a bit anxious about the quality of healthcare here vs the US, though hope to deliver back home if it ever happens. Been temping and learning alot since finding FF. Anyways, thank you all for your great advice, resources and inspiration. Best wishes to you all!
Welcome! I'm very sorry for your loss. Jump right in and use the search function for any lingering questions! There's a ton of old threads with awesome info.
Is there a search tool that allows you to find past discussions only for this board on mobile? I only see one search tool option, but it's searching through every board on the bump! I want to make sure my question hasn't been asked before I post! Thanks!
Ok, I see a button that says search discussion, but is there one to actually search the board instead of just within an individual post? I swear I am computer challenged. Learning to gif last night was a huge triumph for me haha.

On the mainTTGP board page , there is a search function at the bottom. Type in the keyword there. It will bring you to a page where you can select which specific board you are trying to search (in my experience it has always automatically been TTGP)

Hello everyone! You can call me by my name Carolann. I am new to all of this so please follow me through. I have been married for ten years no luck till this month. My last AF was 5/23/15 exactly seven days after AF I start to spot this was 5/4/15 only when using the restroom "tmi" once that day when I was at work. So a whole day passes by around the same time the only thing is that it happened at home while my husband was present this was 5/6/15 reminding you guys this is going on before ovulation day. Yesterday 9dpo cramping all day left and right lower belly now today three days before AF the cramps stopped and I am feeling concerned and was wondering has this happened to anyone and ended not pregnant? Worried hoping for someone can give me peace of mind it's my first rodeo

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume you didn't read the thread you're posting in. Give it a look-see.

Omg, this is EXACTLY what happened to me! We must be body twins! What I did, while I waited for scientific results, was read this thread from the beginning. It soooo helped me!

And this is an example of what not to do......lurk, learn, and think before you post.
I am 27, DH is 26. We have been married since September 28, 2013. We had our first child, Zoey, February 7, 2016.
I would like to add that this thread is NOT intended for newbie intros. Why did this start happening all of a sudden?
Also, the "Report a TOU Violation" button =/= "I got my feelings hurt" button. Please go actually read the TOU and use this button wisely. I'm sick of seeing good users banned because of cry babies getting click happy.

Really? On the newbie thread? It's here to read and learn from so you don't make this mistake. Not so you can ask questions without lurking first...
Hi there, Thank you all for being such helpful, active members on this board. Your participation and great advice has helped so many women and contributed to creating a thriving community. I wanted to let you know that we felt it would be helpful to consolidate into a single message some of the advice you’ve all shared for our new members from this thread and across the TTGP board. This “Welcome, New Members!” message will be posted to the TTGP board tomorrow. In the post, we ask that new members spend time getting a feel for the board, politely introduce themselves, and consult the search function when possible. We also ask that they keep an open mind when seeking advice. This feels like a good opportunity to remind our regular active board members of that same idea. As you know, this board is composed of women like you navigating an exciting and, at times, stressful period of life. It is especially important on TTGP that we remain welcoming to each other and always strive to offer support. There may be times when new members unintentionally do not follow board etiquette. If, for example, they ask a question that’s recently been asked or haven’t formally introduced themselves before posting, we encourage you to politely remind them to check out our “Welcome, New Members!” post and allow the discussion to continue. We also ask that you do not put anyone down for not following our recommended etiquette. This way, the conversation can flow peacefully and productively. Thank you so much!
