Just so you know, until I came on here I always used sex and gender synonymously. I guess I was just never taught the difference. I know it's a touchy subject, with good reason, but just wanted to state that sometimes it may be an honest mistake. Sex is male or female, as in genitalia. Gender is personality associated with masculine and genome roles. @mavgirl_73 feel free to educate if that's not correct!
I made the mistake of not reading this thread for over a week. Upon clicking the title I immediately recognized the drastic misstep I had taken. NEVER AGAIN!!
Also, has anyone wanted to start a new thread about their baby bump just to see what would happen???? Cause I'm 9 weeks and totally have a baby bump and I know it isn't bloat so don't tell me it's bloat. (The elusive sarcasm font would be used on this entire portion of my comment, FYI haha)
@Embuzz247 you are right on the money. I get worked up because I do have transgendered folks who are near and dear to me and it's painful when others don't understand the difference.
USE THE MOTHER **%^€ SEARCH FUNCTION PEOPLE!!!! Enough with the repeat posts! I really think we have been more than patient with so many of these repeat offenders.
I just can't right now... Can't even write down "I'm sorry but if you use the search function…" I just can't! I want to scream!
@Embuzz247 I was just lurking on J16 and noticed you got a shout out. Go check it out. It's the very first post on their board. Just thought I'd let you know in case you haven't seen it yet.
Okay… I'm in a better mood now. I just went onto the thread about how you met your SO/DH and wrote a work of pure fiction. I wasn't doing this to be mean… Honestly, I just needed an outlet and I felt like some creative writing would help me get there… It did!
Creative writing is always beneficial! And the repeat posts are seriously getting crazy.. There are many of us that are successful at using the search function so for so many people to NOT do it is just ridiculous. Your post is not more important than anyone else's and for all you know, someone who gave a really helpful answer the first time will not want to type it out for a second time. So in essence people are shooting themselves in the feet!
Yet us mean as science bitches are still the only ones that offer support and condolences on losses, the very same that throat a fit about bloat being bumps, never ever do. What does that tell you?

Thanks for letting me know! I hadn't lurked over there to see that. I knew that member from the ttc board. I'm glad we aren't the only ones annoyed by repeats! Even other bmb can't take it!
When you are in the ER for 1 day and I miss a whole ton of Channing Tatum!
You ok?
Thanks for asking. Yea. I had some pains yesterday in my heart area into my neck, and couldn't catch my breath. It was scary. My ob told me to go get checked out. Fortunately it was nothing. Unfortunately we don't know what it was. It was more than the usual breath loss and heart pumping more that I have been getting w pregnancy.

That's scary! I had something similar during my last pregnancy. I went to the hospital and nothing. It could be sign that you should watch your blood pressure? I'm so glad you're ok!!!
@313Meg I was so glad you're feeling better, but agree that you should not hesitate to go back to the ER if you feel the same way again. We have a Little device here (at my home because my husband is insane-medically not clinically;-) that you can get at CVS or another pharmacy called a pulse-ox... Basically it just clips onto your finger and will tell you your pulse and your oxygenation rate. Normal people don't keep these in the home… But then again, DH just loves his medical devices. He's like a little kid in a candy store. I could be completely wrong, but if you had a little bout of tachycardia (your heart rate jumped up,) that could definitely give you chest pains and the feeling of shortness of breath. In any case, I'm glad that you're doing better and hopefully you won't have anything else like that again!
In the meantime: Things of been crazy around here, buckle up buttercup!
Before I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism I had severe chest pains and a super high HR. I went to the ER probably 8 times thinking I was having a heart attack! So yeah, chest pains are scary, especially when there is a little bean involved! Keep us posted on everything but definitely take it easy!
I like the "how do you know you're having twins?" Thread... I haven't even clicked on it, but.... The dr says there's two in there during the ultrasound? It's twins. The dr says there's one in there? It's not twins.
But, science is only so reliable and every body is different right?? Lol

thanks guys!
Promise us that even if they told you it was "nothing" that you won't hesitate to head right back to the ER if any of those symptoms reoccur.
We can't afford to mess with chest pain and breathing trouble here in D15! Glad to have you back safe & sound...xox
