  • I FOUND A STRETCHMARK. right beside ( #:-S )one of my tattoos. honestly concerned about having one go through one of the tattoos on my stomach. does this mean i shouldnt have a 2nd serving of pie and ice cream? ;)

  • Meh....super swollen feet. I know I'm super close to my due date but I had to give in and buy a pair of comfortable shoes. I found some that weren't hideous, now I'm just upset I didn't get them months ago! Lol
Andddddd I pee every two seconds...the joys of the last month of pregnancy!
  • I just threw up more stomach contents than I thought possible. Like seriously, where did it come from? Probably all the food I can't stop eating. Haven't thrown up in months now, definitely don't miss that symptom!

I lost my mucus plug last night and have been having irregular contractions since then. With my first I lost my mucus plug and then my water broke 3 hours after. I'm just having a waiting game at this point
  • I've given up caring about pregnancy pains and symptoms. After the last few days of severe pain due to kidney stones ( urologist won't touch me) I welcome the normal pregnancy issues.
  • A couple new things this week:
    1. Pregsomnia from 3-6:30 am
    2. More nesting during Pregsomnia. Totally thought I was nested out.
    3. Stretch marks. Sigh. I thought I was gonna dodge this bullet seeing as I got BOTH cellulite and spider veins. Wtf? Just found some.
    4. Generally crampy--all the time
    5. Swollen ass ankles.

As long as I make it through next Friday, I'm ready to have this baby cause I'll be on mat leave just long enough to skip my hellish time.

Baby #1 for Allie and Mike!

  • Almost had baby yesterday , but ob said not enough labour symptoms . I got extremely nervous when he almost was going to do my csection . I came home and cried because I'm scared of everything a csection involves ! I totally panicked , and was hoping I wouldn't . So Im scheduled June 2, we will see if I make it . I feel all crampy and lazy and sick to my stomach . Blah ! At most 9 more days
  • Blehhhhh. Just trying to not have a mental breakdown about everything. Im on the edge-- but staying positive. Just feel soooo miserable.

My husband thought it would be a good idea to go camping at 37 weeks pregnant. Thankfully, we aren't roughing it because we have a trailer but these beds have been awful for my hips. I'm also super swollen. I'd like to be home nesting, but I guess forcing myself to relax is my only option.
  • Anyone else feeling contractions when they use the bathroom?
    #2 especially.
    I'm not constipated either lol
  • Pigging out on $1.49 chicken nuggets from Mcds and red velvet poptarts. They are the most incredible poptarts ever made.

I'm sore. Cranky. SO SWOLLEN. thought I'd miss that aspect. Haha NOT. Keep having dreams I'm breastfeeding and pumping and I can actually feel it. 29 days left, although I'm secretly trying to reason with DD to come sooner.

Red Velvet poptarts!?! I had a little obsession with poptarts earlier in my 3rd trimester. I would wake up every night at 4am on the dot and go have a pack of poptarts (part of the reason I now have ants in my room). I did this for at least a month. I wish I had known about red velvet poptarts then!

  • I'm craving sweet things soooo bad but can't really indulge because if GD. Today I caved and ate a cup of black jack cherry frozen yogurt. It was heavenly.

    Now I feel guilty.

Also it's hot today and I'm a hot sweaty mess. Annnnd DH has been working all weekend, so I had to drag my butt to the park with my 2 year old DS so that he could get some fresh air. My feet and ankles are annnngry about that.

  • My tooth is starting to feel a little better. I think it was sinus pressure that was making it hurt so bad. Now, however, my ears are starting to get plugged. Probably one of the most annoying things ever. I want to take a benadryl to help, but I don't feel like being a sleepy zombie all day. Besides, DH and I were thinking of going out and doing something since this is our last guaranteed weekend just the two of us. I don't want to be falling asleep where ever we go.

Anyone know of any pregnancy safe alternatives to benadryl that won't make you drowsy?

  • I don't know if this is just crazy and I'm imagining things but my dogs have become super clingy to the extent of whining all night for me to sit out in the living room with them- it's like they know something big is going on but instead of it being sweet, it's just making me more sleep deprived & cranky. DH has tried to go settle them down but they only want "Mommy" & I cave just so they don't wake up DS. I'm worrying now that I'll be too rundown for labor when it's go time or end up sick and not being able to hold/ care for baby girl. Too tired to get things done & can't sleep when I actually get the chance but I should be happy that otherwise I feel pretty darn good (instead I'm running on an average of 2-3 hrs of sleep so I'm not letting myself drive & I'm exhausted, moody & feel like I'm not being a very good Mommy lately- I miss playing with DS & being excited for baby's arrival, this Zombie feeling has to go ASAP).
  • So.... I walked into my moms basement today and her cat likes to pee everywhere. I stepped onto the floor and slipped and fell onto the concrete floor. My stomach hurts a little bit, but I am sitting here drinking water. Counting babies movement, c section is scheduled for June 2.

My OBGYN told me to take regular Claratin, NO Claratin D and it didn't make me sleepy or anything but it put a stop to my allergies

Oh man... That's terrifying and probably maddening. Hope you and LO are ok!
  • A little nervous, but I feel ok otherwise. Thanks!

I've slipped and fell a bunch of times. Not any time recently, being this far along, which probably means I'll fall soon, but I usually did exactly what you are doing. Sitting quietly, drinking water, paying attention to my body - was I cramping? Was LO moving normally? Other than my wounded pride and sore ass we did OK. Course, it is late in the game so don't hesitate to call a doc if you think you need to! I know I wouldn't. Glad you feel OK!

  • @aliciac2008 My OB has said Sudafed (for no more than 3 days) and Tylenol Sinus are both approved meds that would help sinus and ear pressure but don't make you drowsy. Hope you feel better!
  • Well apparently i shouldnt eat handfuls of raisinets bc last night i did and woke up this morning with the worst stomach pains right below my boobs . Hours later my stomach is still messed up and have only been able to eat toast :( feels like i have trapped gas and it wont go awayyy WTH...
  • @devyns2nd glad to hear that (for the most part) everything seems to be okay! I hope your kidneys hold up and you can avoid a CS, but regardless best wishes for a healthy baby in the end!

So I fell at work and told my doc I felt baby moving, etc. but they still wanted to do an NST and not sure if this applies to you but I'm Rh- so they did some labs to make sure I hadn't had any mixing of maternal-fetal blood. Just a heads up for anyone else that may fall and is Rh-... I was fine with no bleed but glad I know for sure.
