I wish more women would read What to Expect, then they would actually understand what's going on in their bodies and not have to ask internet strangers. I about blew when I signed on and saw yet again, more spotting and cramping threads. You are such a sweetheart @BostonBaby1 for being patient and answering them for the millionth time!

I haven't wanted to get it because I heard it's all just really scary stories about everything that could go wrong... Is that true? I obviously look online and in different places to figure it what's going on instead of asking strangers on here though
@Karawe to tell you the truth, I don't know because my copy just arrived a few days ago. My SIL sent it to me. She calls it "THE book." So far I have just read through up to where I'm at. I haven't found anything scary so far. But I guess it would depend on what scares you. I don't think that there's anything wrong with asking questions on here but certain things like cramping and spotting and nausea etc. is really starting to get annoying. I'm trying my best not to be rude to anybody, but honestly, the search function is there for a reason and there are so many answers to these questions! If somebody makes a post about spotting and being nervous about it… That is different than just asking if it is normal. I think I'm going to use the what to expect book more like a reference rather than reading it cover to cover. I did notice that there is an entire section devoted to labor and delivery. Maybe I'm just not ready to reach that yet because of my previous loss or perhaps because I know it's scary and I'm not ready for that yet! Lol! I will let you know as I read on if there's anything awful!
Thanks girls I'm thinking maybe I'll read it when I'm in my second trimester. I'm already a lot less nervous in general, after seeing the ob, but even reading the mc threads on here worry me right now. Keep us updated @BostonBaby1
I would just like to say I love how this post went full circle like 8 times haha It literally went from "Stop posting the same crap over and over again" to hilarious gifs then back again. You guys are the best lol
