I didn't have a normal hospital stay with DS, so STM's who had a normal stay, did they supply diapers and formula for the 3 days or whatever after the birth?
We were in the NICU for 8 days last time, and they gave me everything.
Oh and another random: does anyone else check the name thread just to see if anyone else is using their baby name? It makes me so happy that no one is because I thought it was kind of common.
ive searched all the threads. all of them. @-) not just the baby names board.
I've had birth dreams, too, and they are indeed oddly reassuring!
Today I was ordering tea, and a man behind me commented on "such a healthy choice." I said, "Yeah, I need it!" and cupped my rather hidden belly. He GASPED! It cracked me up!

Mine did. They even sent me home with a ton of stuff.

I check our June name thread for my names, and also lurk in March, April, and May looking at their birth announcements for my names. I used to occasionally go into the baby names board to look there, too, but stopped because So. Many. Names.
Here's my random - I just logged on from an actual PC so I got the notification that I had a message in my inbox. (Ordinarily from mobile I would have to go to the inbox specifically to know I had a message) Anyway, I got warned for telling cat lady she was being a selfish whiny B - calling the waahhhmbulance on her, to use @serenamarr most appropriate termage. Just, whatever.

theres an inbox? how do i find such a thing? (on mobile)
@ElRuby@JessHeppell I use the mobile web version usually. I do not use the app. It looks app-ish, tho, so maybe it will be the same. On the home page for community, you have your favorited boards, right? And below that is some other options to go to other boards - above this is the inbox. See screenshot
In related news - @JessHeppell I hope you reported that lady in Septemberwho kept calling you a very unfavorable name. It was way worse than 'selfish, whiny B' that I got warned for
I went to the doctor today and I am 1 centimeter dilated! I'm 34 weeks on Thursday and my doctor said that it is a really good sign that I will be able to have a vaginal birth when the time comes! I'm super excited because I live in a state where the c section rate is ridiculous (like 40%), and I definitely want to avoid that if possible. Also my doctor is pleased with my 5 pound weight gain since last thursday. I'm not as thrilled, lol, but it's ok. : )

Damn! i totally didnt. also i feel like a total idiot because my inbox is right there.. uhh.. i blame the baby brain.
I just had to have my engagement ring cut off by a fireman because it was stuck and my finger was starting to turn purple. I know it can be fixed but I'm so sad now.

Oh No! I'm sorry to hear that. They will fix it as good as new!
I found my baby shower dress and it only cost $38 and was originally $109. I may be the only one, but I feel like my arms have gotten so fat so I had to find one with some sleeves since I will be the whale at the center of attention opening presents, oh how I hate being the center of attention. (
Seriously what does McDonalds put in their soft drinks to make them so good????
This is real. They have a special syrup for the coke products that is exclusive to McDonalds. Or its blended in a different ratio. I am too lazy to look it up but my boss swears it is true. Drinking one right now.
And by the way WTF is up with 3rd trimester nausea? I did even know that was a thing. McD coke is the best medicine. Super healthy.

Awwww that sucks!!!
Maybe hunny will add another band or add upgrades when it gets fixed as a push gift. #silverlining
@rolson8947 nope.... Your not the only one. Estrogen causes weight to go straight to your arms, love handles and thighs.... And we are plum full of it among many other hormones. Hence why I wore a jacket at my baby shower
@klkonwi and @rolson8947 - you both look fantastic! We are our own worst critic, though. Here's me at my family shower we had this past weekend. I feel the weight gain in my arms, ass and thighs too. It sucks. And the stripes did not help the look of my midsection, but I liked the dress anyway. It matched my nursery colors of aqua and purple (well, less the purple).

Where did you get that?! It's so cute! I feel the same wih my arms too ugh and my shower isn't until the end of May when I'll be 35 weeks so I'm nervous how much bigger I'll be by then too
@FloGirl82@klkonwi@rolson8947 you all look great! Add me into those who have gained some weight in the thighs and arms (probably butt, too, but I was a booty girl beforehand so I wouldn't really notice a little extra).
@megtyrrell that really sucks about your ring. I bet the firefighter felt real bad it, too. But yes, bright side - you can upgrade it when it gets fixed
Here's my random - its been snowing off and on (mostly on) all day today. Wth? Its April 22!
Pregnancy brain just hit me hard... I put a pot on the stove to boil and put bread in the toaster and walked out of the room and was doing something on the computer and like ten minutes later smelled something burning. I actually sat there and thought "Am I cooking something? No..." Then walked back to the kitchen to see water everywhere and smoke coming from my toaster.... oops.
I congratulated my husband via email for finally getting his promotion, however I said prostitute instead.....and I couldn't blame autocorrect "im so happy you finally got your prostitute" ugh.

Psshhh. Chickenpoop lady couldn't even stand behind what she said. Did she delete them all? I seem to recall that she posted it in a few comments. Maybe she missed one. =;
I am mortified right now. I just accidently texted the parents of one of my piano students about why I suddenly need a sleeping nursing bra and nursing pads instead of my husband. I don't think I can ever look at them again. Always check who you're texting.

Oh man, I'm so sorry this happened. But, I have to admit I giggled. But I AM sorry. I'm sure they will understand, they did have a kid, thus a pregnancy, after all.
