    It's an alternative to Lamaze and unnatural birth methods involving drugs or tools. It's a completely natural method and involves husband coaching along with natural breathing. Did you know they often use forceps, cut you, or some type of vacuum auction thing to get the baby out??!! I did not know any of this! I thought you just push and it hurts like hell. I'm just starting to learn about this natural method, but so far I like it.

    My husband thinks that because he was almost 11 pounds at birth, that baby Jack will be almost 11 pounds like him, and that I'll have to have a
    c-section. As I get closer to giving birth, I'll see how big baby Jack is and see what I need to do. If I do give birth vaginally, I'll probably get an epidural and they'll probably have to cut me.

    Okay this may be a TMI but for the last four hours I have had gas buildup in my abdomen like no other.. I can't get comfortable.. Walking helped ALOT but now that I'm home I'm miserable again ! Any ideas or advice?

    I do not want an epidural. I have read that it can cause risks and side effects. (I should probably be banned from reading. Lol) My husband was 10 pounds, his grandfather was 14 pounds, and my stepson was 9 pounds. So, most likely I will have a big baby as well. Of course, if the doctor needs to use tools for safety reasons, then so be it. I would just like this to be a last resort. I'm just really scared of surgery, etc. I'd rather push the baby out naturally, if I can. My friend had a 10 pound baby using This method, but they did have to use forceps. I hope I can find a doctor who is really supportive of this choice. Everyone will do what is best for them and their baby. I think this is the best choice for us. I just need to get my husband and doctor on board, too. I was just wondering if anyone else had any knowledge or experience with this.

    You'll know when your spread eagle in the bed. LOL! If the doctor says they gotta use something to help get the baby out, do what they say. For your safety and the baby's. Hopefully you'll have an easy delivery and be able to experience it hoe you want to.

    Yeah, but if I choose a doctor that routinely uses tools and interventions then they are more likely to say I need intervention when I don't really need it. I am going to ask my doctor what her views are and then maybe switch my doctor if necessary. I don't expect it to be easy by any means, but hopefully with this method and coaching I can do it. Of course, I agree that safety comes first.

    Hi ladies! I'm due on the 6th of August and am in the UK. I am tentatively counting down the days to my anomaly scan on the 23rd of March when I can finally find out the sex of my wee one! x

    I keep having dreams that baby Jack is actually a girl! LOL! I'm kinda freaking out now! LOL! I guess we'll know for sure on March 24th! Anyone else having dreams of the sex of their child?

    Lol. Sorry you are stressed. I just switched positions at my job a week ago and I am now a classroom teacher again. I am so happy. Plus, we just started two weeks of Spring Break!

    I just found out I'm getting a 3d ultrasound at my 20 week anatomy scan on March 24th! I thought I had to pay extra for that. The nurse said they do the 3d ultrasounds now at the 20 week anatomy scans because they can get better measurements! I'm so freakin' excited to see what his face will actually look like!!!!

    Well...mom and baby are doing great! They may move my due date to July 27th since he's measuring so big! (His dad was 10 pounds 2 ounces when he was born!) Baby Jack looks NOTHING like me! He looks just like his daddy!!!
