I don't have my second appointment until next Thurs, when I will be 13 weeks and 6 days. We have been considering the name Jonnie if it's a girl and maybe John if it's a boy. My little brother passed away a few years ago and his name was John, but went by Johnny. Honest opinions?? My husband is hesitant about Jonnie for a girl bc it's a masculine name. We are thinking we could have a really feminine middle name, but we can't decide on anything that flows with Jonnie.
I like Jonnie for a girl name! It's cute and original!

Hi everyone, I haven't been on here in a while. They changed my due date to Aug 11th, it's been a little hectic for me. Between work, and battling fatigue, and depression, its been tough! I am glad to hear all you girls are doing very well. Beside what I just mentioned, I am also doing ok, my two babies are doing good, and that always a blessing. Hope everyone is enjoying their journey.. Hugs & kisses to all.

Thanks. I feel like if people don't know the sentiment behind it, they might think it's weird, but oh well. We like it. We just need to figure out the middle name now. Lol. How about everyone else with names?
@sudjeyg I hope you start feeling better. Is there anything we can do to help??
I had a dream last night that i was using a doppler at home that had a little tv screen that made it possible to actually see the baby at home. In my dream, the baby turned it's head and looked at me and spoke to me. I couldn't tell what it looked like. I only saw the outline of the baby. BUT...then, it pointed to it's "nether region" and said, "Look! I have a penis! I am a boy!" LOL! The baby started "swimming" around really fast and i was yelling at him to stop because I wanted to see him and talk to him some more. I woke up sobbing because I wanted to see and hear my baby some more! LOL!
Hey girls! I just found out today that the local community college near me has a Sonography program that is giving out free ultrasounds! I have mine scheduled for next Wednesday (2/11/2015)! I had one on 12/31/2014, but I was only 8 weeks and 5 days, so it looked like a jellybean with legs. I'll be 14 weeks and 5 days next Wednesday, so I can't wait to see a picture of an actual baby! I'll post pictures of the ultrasound and we can do some gender guessing!!!
@ReD9152012 You can rent a Doppler for a monthly charge. A coworker of mine did this and suggested it to me. I haven't ordered one yet, but I am strongly considering it.
I had my second appointment today. No sonogram, but the heart beat was 144 bmp. I guess that's good. They tested for gender and we should know in a few weeks. I have appointments every month.
@kjknight07 I think 144 bpm is as perfect as you can get at this phase! Congratulations!!! I go fo my 16 week checkup on 2/16! I can't wait to hear the heartbeat again!
Hey ladies!!! I'm going at 3pm today to the local community college to get a free ultrasound and to help the students in the Sonography program there! I'll either get pictures today, or they'll email the pictures (not sure how long that will take). Either way, I'll post pictures here and hopefully, i'll get to find out the gender today (6 weeks before my anatomy scan!).
I'm here at my monthly appt right now (I'm a bit early since traffic wasn't bad). then tonight I have scheduled an elective ultrasound to find out boy or girl. It's my vday gift for DH since he's probably going to miss the big anatomy ultrasound due to his upcoming crazy work schedule. I'll post once we know. I'm so excited.
Hey girls! I just wanted to let y'all know that I havve invited a few ladies to our thread that are not due on August 7th. I invited them because everywhere else they go, people are mean to them. I told them we have very sweet ladies on here that would NEVER be mean to them and that they could come over here and ask questions or post as many pictures as they wanted to.
Just an FYI if you start seeing some new names on this thread.
Hi ladies! I am die August 9th! Wish I would have found this thread earlier! Our BFP was Dec. 2nd! This is our first after three years of trying! We are High risk so we see baby every two weeks since December 22nd! We are doing an elective ultrasound on Monday to find out what we are having!
So I posted this on the regular board too but thought I would update here as well. We had our elective ultrasound on Friday night and tech could tell right away it was a little girl! She moved the wand around to get a different angles to confirm and make sure nothing was hiding. I uploaded a couple pictures; one to show the shot that it's a girl, one I just thought was cute because it looks like she is waving (she has one hand tucked under her head and then the other in the air), and then a third one is the first outfit we bought for her that DD #1 picked out. We also hopefully decided on a name, Rachel Jane.

@ReD9152012 so what you're saying is it's a good choice? we like names that have a bit of popularity to them but not necessarily for our child's generation. If that makes since. I don't think there are going to be three Rachel's in her class like there were in mine. DDs name is Natalie and so far there haven't been any other natalies in her preschool classes. The middle name Jane was DHs grandmas middle name who passed away a few years back.
I really want to use the middle name Elizabeth because it was my husband's grandma's name and all the girls in his family have it as a middle name. Too bad it is also his ex-wife's name. So, that kind of ruins it. I'm pushing for Eliza though. I just have to talk my husband into it. If I'm having a boy, we will have no names picked out. We have only thought about girl names. Lol.

My actual name is Rachel Elizabeth! LOL! We found out this past week we're having a boy. His name is Jack Mason. If it would have been a girl, my husband wanted her first name to be Elizabeth.
Okay! Found out today we are having a BOY! (15 wks 1 day) I was a little devastated at first... Like I cried for three hours! But I'm coming around LOL! What's everyone else having?
@srmarchesi 3 years ago, my niece had the first boy in our family in 23 years. I just found out I'm having a boy too. My husband was disappointed because he really wanted a girl, but now he's excited after being around my sister's FIVE girls for about an hour (ranging from ages 23 to 3 years old). LOL! Boys are soooo sweet!!!
My next sono is scheduled for Mar 20. I will be 20 weeks at that one. I'm hoping to get news on the gender any day now though from he bloodwork that they did.

Interpretations are welcomed! LOL!
Ok girls. I'm at a loss. According to my last period (10/31/2014) I should be 13 weeks and 6 days today.
According to my dating ultrasound taken on 12/31/2014, I was about a week ahead which would put me at 14 weeks and 3 days today.
Which should I go by?
