What a good update! I got a feeling these boys are going to prove the doctors wrong and enter the world with a bang! Sending more thoughts and prayers!
@bluedaisy2001 I can FaceTime with DD, I think I will tomorrow. I am just so emotional right now, I want to be able to be strong for her on the phone and not cry. You know?

@GirPipley I have no idea if I've posted here to let you know that you have my T&P, but I have been following your story and silently rooting for you. I made a post earlier about how I picked favorite posters without actually ever talking to them and you are one of them. Your strength while going through something as awful and scary as this is truly awe inspiring. You have more grace and class than a lot of people I've seen.

I have a coworker who's nephew was born at 23 weeks and 14oz! and is now 3 months old and a rockstar in the NICU! Those boys are capable of beating any odds thrown their way.
Thank you for this. Every success story I hear gives me more and more hope.

That was really encouraging.
R is refusing to listen to any other outcome other than our boys coming home with us. I'm thankful for his optimism, but I'm worried he's in denial, and I hope that if things turn out differently, he won't be prepared.
I totally get your thoughts on this, but you kind of have to let him deal with this however he's able to. It must be incredibly hard for him to see you in this position and feel so helpless, so if it helps him to be in denial, then maybe it's for the best. In all honesty, I don't think you can prepare a negative outcome - it'll be devastating no matter what.
@blu-eyedwife I think you're absolutely right. We have never been through something like this before, so I think we are learning a lot about how each other manages emotional trauma. I'm a "need to know" person, I want to know every possible outcome, and I want all the information I can get. He seems to be happy with only the best case scenario option, which is okay too. It probably works really well for us to have this ying/yang, actually. I just know that as much as I need support, he needs it too, and I don't know how to support him at all right now.

@bluedaisy2001 it did not come off as insensitive at all!!! It was a great suggestion

You're doing so great!! It's wonderful that you went in right away to be treated so quickly. It will help being in bed in the hospital drinking constantly and being part of a big prayer chain for these boys. I let out a huge sigh of relief when I read your update. I'm so glad there are no signs of labor or infection. It's very promising! I have a good friend who delivered twin girls at 24 weeks 5 days. They were just over a pound each and were in the nicu for months. However now they are beautiful, smart, happy and healthy 8 year olds with zero long term issues! So....that was 8 years ago. I'm feeling very optimistic you can keep those boys in there long enough to bring both home healthy by June. We'll keep praying for you.
Come on! You can do it, babies! This is hopeful news. The best kind! You keep doing amazing okay? And we'll keep fingers crossed those babies stay in there a nice long time.
Praying for both your miracle babies & you & your family. Stay strong! Sounds like you are doing a great job coping with everything. Thoughts & prayers are with you.
@Twinteriscoming thank you for your kind words. I haven't done anything about the flake yet. I was responding to that thread when the Dr. Realized my water broke and things got a little hectic after that. I needed to clear my head a bit before diving into work. I will be giving her notice tomorrow.

I'm right down the road from you in Richmond (I think someone mentioned you were up in NOVA) and I'm sending all the loves your way. So happy things are stable and looking hopeful! Glad you've got lots of support in the hospital!
Jesus, I'm so sorry for all you're going through. The fact that you've made it this far with a rupture is definitely promising. It's awesome that you're at a hospital that will accept babies so young into the NICU, that's so rare to find. I have everything crossed for you & those 2 trouble makers. You are one tough mommy!
I can completely relate to your concerns about your hubby being nothing but optimistic. When I faced my loss my SO was convinced everything would be okay. No one could tell him otherwise, I was the realist I guess. But looking back now I'm glad he was, had he been any other way I think it would have more stressful and hard on me. And I'm sure a big part of their optimism is trying to be strong for the mom!
You are doing great! Will be hoping for another positive update for you & the boys
I'm totally praying for a miracle for you and your boys! There's got to be someone who beats the odds and I am so praying that will be your and your guys!!!
