You know, that's a good point. I've always been a humidity hater. To the point that DH had to convince me to get a humidifier for M's latest cold. But that thing was/is glorious. I just wanted to spend every night in her room when I also had the cold. And I like the steam in the shower while showering. Apparently I have humidity-ok situations. Ooo, like fog. I love fog.
Yeah, you should totally come visit me. In July. We'll go to the zoo.

  • Dear husband,.

It's not acceptable for you to take niquil when we have a sick baby that can't breathe at night. When I ask you nicely to come help me suction her nose because she scratched my eyeball and threw up on me, I'm not going to ask nicely the second time after you fell asleep again.

    Love your exhausted wife.

I think all 3 of us will be going to the doctor tomorrow :(

Awesome news @km_md@theultimatesak is feeling better, @unaveragejane's plumbing is in good shape, your cat is better, I think I figured out what caused P's rash (ibuprofen!?!?)  Maybe 2015 is ready to quit sucking.  @comemai Is your luck turning around?
    Ibuprofin? How did you figure?
The original rash started after I gave her the ibuprofen the first time for her teeth.  I forgot the next two nights (and paid the price by being up every 2 hours ugh) and the rash got better.  Then I remembered again night before last, and the rash came back, and spread down to her shoulders and chest.
I'm still not 100% that it's the ibuprofen, but I cut out all new foods till the rash heals, so she's only eating cheerios and green beans (poor kid.)  Signs are pointing to ibuprofen.

    Is it dye free?

  • @sarenu1 It is dye free.

But... I just realized that I also used a different baby wash (same brand, but different type.)  I'm not 100% if the dates correllate, or if she has used it before with MH.  Mystery back in action.

  • Do you think Doctor's offices are open on MLK day? Grr needs his 6 month check up, and Mister is off, so it would be verrrrry conveninet.

I would think so, but it could vary by office. Of course the office we go to is open for urgent appointments even on Christmas and thanksgiving.

Nope, used the baby wash over Christmas break.  Back to ibuprofen as the culprit.  This is hard.

  • I want to go home and dive into my knitting book.

I think I'm going to take a hot bath tonight after the kids go to bed.  It's been a long week (probably not as bad as some, but it's been crazy busy and draining).

Does this mean it wasn't the sesame oil then?
I'm thinking no because it got worse again, and I hadn't eaten the sesame oil again.  But hell, I have no clue honestly.  I'm grasping at straws.

  • I currently have two babies sleeping on me. And have to pee so.fucking.bad.

    Borrow a diaper?
One time I was on the freeway in stopped traffic, and still like an hour from home in good traffic. I had to pee so freaking bad and S was asleep in the car. I totally stuck one of her sposies in my pants. It was seriously like the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. Like my body knew it was wrong lol.

Thanks. Slightly rigid CW is saying kid should be out of diapers (and at least in pull-ups) by 2 years old. And I think it depends more on the kid and their needs.

  • OMG, MK, that made me laugh so hard!  I remember when I was in the hospital after breaking my leg, I had to pee and they wouldn't let me get up so I had to use a bed pan.  It took me sooooo long to make it happen.  I totally know what you mean.
  • CW?

    Sorry.

Dd started potty training at 17 months and so many told me to stop pushing her.....she was out od diapers by 2 and she was one of the early ones in her daycare.....not sure what a CW is but yeah when the child is done with diapers depends a lot on the individual child.

  • My girasol is MIA. It's marked as delivered in the locker, but it's not there. There's one more that's locked, but the key to it wasn't in our box. Wtf. My mail lady regularly screws up delivering packages.
