He's trying to be supportive, but he's stressing me out bc he assumes we're going to have to do a lot of spanking and stuff. He was raised by a single mom mostly and was left to run wild most of the time. He wants our kids to be better behaved, so I think he thinks being strict and militant be the answer. Thankfully he usually takes his cues from me; he just picked a crummy time to vent or something.

Ugh, but N is on his third tantrum already and it's not even 8:30 yet.

I always wondered how my mother was so patient.

After having two kids, I now realize that it was dealing with three toddlers, working full time, and keeping a household in order. I have a lot of respect for my mom and how I hardly ever heard her raise her voice to any of the three of us.

I definately need to work on this one as well.

I just got commended by a waitress for being brave enough to nurse my baby in public, despite what people might think or say.

While part of me was thrilled and proud, part of me was like, who are these people and what are they saying? I saw no looks or whispers. Was she secretly the one judging? It sorta felt like the BFing equivalent of "I have black friends."

I just finished mopping the kitchen. N followed me the whole time (as always), then went into the living room and told J, "Dat was LOTSA fun!" If mopping was the highlight if my toddler's day, I am either a terribly dull mother or a genius.

Haha. M lives cleaning. He would seriously wash our dishes all day. He sets up the chair to stand on and everything

Ditto. He's probably actually ugly but you've got low standards. It's ok though, those of us with ugly husbands get all the cash monies because of how successful they are.

Also, I just thought how marrying my ugly but wildly successful husband was the smartest move I ever made. Then I started crying because I realized that means I'm ugly. My world is shattered, and now so is my mirror.

We just stopped at my favorite gas station to fill up and it was $1.87 plus I got my favorite salad from there. I love Bucees!

All of yesterday's stimulation screwed up L's sleep and thus mine. I think I've had about 5 hours of very chopped up sleep. At one point I had a dream that someone was painting a moving three headed horse skeleton.

LOL. I had a dream that Amy Pohler and I were besties. We were hanging out and I think was she nursing a baby and I was vacuuming. Weird. DS woke me up like a million times between 5 and 7 am and I had so many weird dreams.

Don't feel bad. If they all didn't cry wolf for every cold, we probably would believe them more.

We are taking M on his first road trip to see Js family. It's at least a 3 hour drive and we are driving there and back today. I hope it goes well :-S

My husband puts the dirty disposables in a wet bag to throw them away at the gas station. Yesterday my sister commented how my cloth diapers didn't smell in our wet bag and then later that afternoon we were at a relatives house and she put one of her daughter's poopy disposable diaper in my wet bag. After we got back to their house my husband handed her the wet bag and said can you throw away your diaper now. He wasn't happy.

We had this sort of situation going on when I was KU with G. D slept in our bed. I slept in the spare room & DH slept in D's twin bed.

We had a 3.5 hour drive last night that turned into a 4.5 hour drive because DD#2 barfed multiple times. It was soo not awesome! One of the times we pulled over a police officer stopped to check on us. I had DD#2 out of her seat and was cleaning the barf off of her. DH was scrubbing off her carseat. DD#3 was screaming. And DD#1 was gagging from the smell and that she got some barf on her arm. The officer asked if we needed help, then said "good luck with that" and left.
