It's not an UO. It's just not nice to give away the last seasons plot to people who haven't seen it. Just start a separate thread.

Oh, I agree. I try to be very spoiler conscious. My father gave away the ending of Breaking Bad when I was on season 3. Ugh.

Food spoiler: I made TJ's chicken last night, and it was so good, I couldn't wait for J to get home to eat it. I just had a small bowl. And another small bowl. M liked it too. I'm going to try it next week with taco seasoning and green chilies.

Yeah. but I guess the point of spoilers is for current or just ended shows. Then it's actually a spoiler, and not just something that is common pop culture. Like, if I didn't know the ending to I Love Lucy or Gilligan's Island I wouldn't be all "Spoiler alert!" it's kind of pop culture ish.

ITK, that reminds me of a student I had a few years back. He was 5, had Asperger's and thus difficulty filtering. One morning he told one of my assistants that she had stinky breath (from coffee). I called him over and reminded him that he should use kind words. He went back over to her and said, "You smell good! But...you might want a breath mint." /dead/

L has decided to celebrate Christmas by waking up earlier and earlier each night and also fighting sleep much later. I am exhausted and haven't wrapped a single present. N needs a haircut, and J keeps worrying out loud about the near future when he thinks N is going to be big enough to get an "attitude adjustment." I am just praying I can hold my crao together long enough to get everything done that needs doing without strangling J.

I've attempted this... So ever. And I dream about House all. The. Time.

So I googled about children using knives and what age is appropriate because I got curious about when we might be able to teach DS knife skills.  Anyway, I read that a great way to start kids on cutting veggies is to use a chopper.  You know those things that go over the food and you press the top to get the blade to come down?  That way, the blade is totally contained once it's on the cutting board.  It also suggested using an egg slicer for softer stuff like mushrooms, bananas, etc.  I thought those were cool suggestions for getting kids involved safely in food prep.
