In L&D *update in OP*

Hey guys, I'm in L&D right now cause I've been contracting since last night. Thankfully cervix is closed but we are just trying to stop the contractions with an IV right now. Please send some good vibes that this baby keeps himself inside!!

Update: I'm home now. I saw the on call doctor and wasn't really a fan, she didn't even bother to look at my monitor strip from before I started the fluids to see I was having contractions and was like "well the pains aren't causing contractions" and I cut her off like "you mean they aren't causing contractions NOW since I've started the fluids" and she just looked like oh... And the nurse had to tell her I was having contractions. She just seemed like she wanted to get me out of there ASAP. I wish I would've seen my own doctor. I'm home now, still in pain, but apparently a small amount of pain is okay as long as it's tolerable. It sucks. I'll do whatever I have to keep him in but I hate the unknown and the idea that I can just sit here in pain and it be normal. I don't see my dr til next Friday. The plan right now is stay home, in bed, no activity and keep an eye on it.
