Our girl name is Skylar Elizabeth.
DH and I discussed Riley, but I decided it wasn't going to grow up well enough.
Other names I love that DH hates. Chloe, Avery, and Aubrey.
Oh and our daughter's name is Peyton Taylor.
My bff's daughter is named Skyler Elizabeth
Jenna Mama to a crazy toddler (J-5/28/15) EDD 5-3-18
We decided on Reese Michelle for our little girl:) I have always loved that name and you don't hear it very often. (And she can be my little Reese cup) !! :x
We are leaning towards Katherine (Kate) Hope. Our older daughters' names are Julianna Liberty Grace and Hannah Joy. For this baby, we also like Elizabeth...I LOVE Gabrielle. He doesn't like modern names and I love romantic, Victorian, or Italian sounding names.
I am SO lost on names! I'm a girly girl and an actress so my favorites are Cecily (I played her in The Importance of Being Earnest), Stella (means star and was the name of a fav dance teacher, but it's getting too popular), Juliet (obvs) and Elia (pronounced El-Leah, one of the beaches we stayed on in Greece during our honeymoon) but DH has shot them all down. He loves Penelope nn Pippa (which I love but worry about how popular has become and that our last name starts with P) and Daphne. Both I like but don't love. We may be able to compromise on Delaney or Bridgette or Amberly but I want to LOVE it so we are still looking. Also love Hayley (adore Hayley Mills!) but don't like that it has 3 spellings and is so common. Haven't thought much about middle names yet, since no one actually seems to care about them except in baby naming. Will probably try to honor a family member but have to choose a first name first! Thoughts are welcome!
Grace Louise, "Gracie Lou" although we'll just call her Gracie unless she's in trouble of course. :-) Grace is for hubby's grandmother and Louise is for my aunt.
We are having a boy but our favorite girls names were Mia Juliet Victoria Peyton My DD 15 months old is named Isabel Renee ( I am still in love with it)
We find out the sex (hopefully - this will be our 2nd and final try) new year's eve. We have a boy name picked already, but are all over the place with girl names and nothing we both love. If we find out it's a girl, I may post to the BNB and let them hack a few off the list
Teresa - harvester (to honor DH's grandmother) Cora - girl/maiden Ruby - red (my fav, but DH nixed) Brianne - strong Irene - peace Iris - rainbow or flower Nicole - people's victory Greta - pearl Rose - rose Athena - goddess of wisdom
I am having twins and we have tentatively decided on Nova and Aurora if they are girls. I'm thinking twice about Aurora though because it is so dang hard to pronounce!
I had the same thought about Aurora but it is a cool name!
The only child named Aurora that I know is called Rory couldn't say her for a long time name and started calling herself Rory, which the family ended up sticking with, and now that's what everyone calls her.
Rory is hard for me to say also. It's just those R's close together like that.
We're pretty set on Peyton for a first name but having a hard time with middle names So far we have Kinsley Irene (my grandmother, moms and my middle name) Francis (grandmothers name and other grandmothers middle name)

I named my 1ST daughter Alora and so far people pronounce it perfectly...it's close to Aurora
We're pretty set on Peyton for a first name but having a hard time with middle names So far we have Kinsley Irene (my grandmother, moms and my middle name) Francis (grandmothers name and other grandmothers middle name)
Our little girl will be Riley Rae. It started out as a joke with our friends (dhs name is Ryan and mine is Emily so Riley is a combination of our names) but we both just really loved the name. Then the mn is after my grandfather who's mn was Ray. If she had been a he we would have used the same name but spelled the middle name Ray.
We also considered Heather May, but I really didn't care for the name Heather. If we have another girl I will probably give in though. Dhs sister who only lived a couple of days was named Heather so it would mean a lot to him and his mom. May would be after my great grandmother who's name was Mabel (we have a hard to pronounce, kind of long ln so I like the short mns).
My little girl will be Ziva Miriam. Yes Ziva was inspired by NCIS. I am Jewish and we really love the character on the show. Miriam will be for my aunt Mina and DH's grandmother Mary.
I read on the name bored that you should give your baby's name the chief justice test. Example: Chief Justice Robert Michael sounds legit. Chief Justice Dusty River not so much. A name is for life, not just because it's cute and unique when you're five. Just a suggestion for some of you to try. I know i tried it with our names.

The only girl name is Elizabeth Kaye. Kaye is my aunts middle name. We've always been close and she doesn't have any kids of her own so I'd like to honor her.
I'd like more options than Elizabeth though.
I personally love this name! My middle name is Beth so I have always been partial to that as a nickname. You can always go with Eliza or Liz too.
Re: Girls' Names -What do you have?
We decided on Harper Marie
