I am very indecisive and my plan is to have a list of three names ready and decide the one after meeting my baby girl but I would like some thoughts on my favorite name right now:
Ophelia Stone
I love it but have definitely received some negative responses due to the story behind Ophelia but I think it's just a beautiful name either way.
Our girl names will probably never be agreed upon, which means this one is likely to be a girl.
Our top choices so far are Leah Elizabeth, Amelia Jean, or Stella ______________. I also love Ruby, which is my Grandma's middle name, but DH hates it.
We've decided not to find out the sex until I deliver, but I've narrowed the girl names down to either Winter or Arabella, not sure of a middle name yet...
Winter Rose sounds pretty awesome, according to me anyway!
Our list is getting longer, so at some point we are going to have to draw the line and start making some decisions. Middle name is Elizabeth…
Kira
Mila
Sydney
Rachel
Natalie
FWIW, I absolutely love some of the L names I have seen suggested, particularly Lillian Grace, but our last name begins with two L's and we just can't get past the alliteration.

I have a daughter named Jocelynn as well, the only issue we have is people constantly call her Joce-Lynn....when we spell her name Jocelyn, people pronounce it correctly...this is just an fyi!
We were dead set on Elizabeth Paige NN Ella but I recently heard the name Norah and now I am loving that. I said it to DD in hopes he would hate it but he loves it too. Sigh
We're pretty set on Peyton for a first name but having a hard time with middle names So far we have Kinsley Irene (my grandmother, moms and my middle name) Francis (grandmothers name and other grandmothers middle name)
Our baby girls name is Juliet Devine and she will be here May 16.
We came up with it because of our grandparents. My grandmothers name was Julia (my hubby thought of Juliet) and his grandmothers middle name was Devine.
Sorry, I'm still learning all of the abbreviations!
We are having a girl, DH and I can't agree on ANY names so I would love suggestions if anyone has any.
I am set on Elaine as the MN (my grandma's name, and LO will be born near her birthday)...DH doesn't love it but I think if we agree on a FN he won't care.
These are in order of my preference...
Claire Elaine Laney (also after my grandma...if DH liked this one we wouldn't do Elaine as MN) Kathleen Elaine (nn Kate or Katie) Aria Elaine/ Aria Noelle Savannah Juliette
We also love Penelope nn Penny but our last name starts with P and when we say them both together it sounds pretty silly.
Edit: these are all names on OUR list but we just can't agree on one!
I've had a DD name picked out for years and I still love it.. However, I can't get attached to it.. It doesn't make me smile when I say it aloud. I stumbled on this name earlier. All opinions welcome! Avalyn ( Ava-Lynn) I know how popular Ava is so I think this may be a way around it. Avalyn Maren Avalyn Victoria ?
DS1 & DS2 anxiously await Baby Ava Victoria May 18th!
I totally get that you might not like my daughters name and that's fine but we're all adults here, no need to point out her name. I'm sure you were told if you don't have anything nice to say than don't say anything at all. It's a shame how childish some grown individuals can be but good luck to you and yours.
My favorite artist just had a little girl named Cecilia. He's got a song out for her called Cecilia and the Satellite. I bet you'd like it! It's by Andrew McMahon.
So my DH and I both liked the name Elizabeth Kaye (kaye is after my aunt) but i told him yesterday that i used to love the name Zoey when I was younger. Now, he hasn't given a lot of opinions on names but his eyes kind of lit up when I said Zoey.
I'm not sure about it. Is the name Zoey Kaye okay? I mean I wanna figure out what I think before I bring it up again.
Team green. But if it's a girl we are doing Parker Leigh. My husband actually picked out the boy and girl name and I like first names for girls that don't sound overly feminine. Leigh is my grandmothers name so we are honoring her with that. I love the person who put Lila. So pretty!
Juliet Elyse Abigail Grace Claire Madelyn Our top 3 girls' names. I go back and forth of what I like best and so does DH. We are hesitant about Abigail and Claire because they've gotten so popular but I've seen more Juliet/tes listed than Abigails at least. Not that we make up the entire population by any means. I don't like Abby as a nickname though, and I know that's inevitable. Names are so hard!
We are team green as well but thinking Paige Lynn for a girl. My DH has liked the name Paige for ever and had no real reason why but we found out over the holidays his sister was named Paige for a day and then because DH couldn't pronounce it they changed the name. Lynn is my MIL middle name. Kort (pronounced court) Michael for a boy. Kort is my DH grandfather who passed away a few years ago. We all loved him and miss him dearly. Michael is my fathers middle name. I think naming is one of the hardest things so I'm glad we have decided either way.
I just wanted to share that we ended up abandoning all THREE of the top 3 choices I mentioned earlier, as I fell in love with a 4th option and eventually brought H on board with it. This little girl will be named Genevieve, with the nickname Eve.
