Teagan Riley - first choice atm Farrah Riley- would use Faye as NN. Faye Riley was my great grandfather, so I love it.
Riley will definitely be the middle name, family last name. I love Farrah, but Teen Mom has given it not a great connotation. It has received mixed reactions from friends/family...
@Ryder0406 I absolutely love Farrah Riley..especially w/ the family link. It's really beautiful. I went to HS w/ a girl named Fallon and she was so beautiful & classy. Just reminds me of that!
I have changed my masculine DD name from Camden Layne (my parents hated it & I did a lot of hard thinking..not to mention I wasn't bonding w/ the name) to : ...............
Ava Victoria. I know Ava is a hot name but it's classic, simple, and I love it. Victoria is my Gma's first name and also DH's GGma name.
DS1 & DS2 anxiously await Baby Ava Victoria May 18th!
Ha.. I begrudgingly have to agree. The thought of robbing my daughter of her feminitiy with a boy name was heartbreaking once I truly thought about it.
DS1 & DS2 anxiously await Baby Ava Victoria May 18th!
My family has started giving unsolicited advice. I'm super indecisive in general so I flip flop a lot with names. Loved harper now hate it , but I am a big fan of Noa, Annabel ,Norah, Hazel, Ramsey...
My mom changed my name at a 6-8 months my grandmother HATED my original name and refused to call me anything but baby... With my Aunts and my grams all around the table I had my moment where I was basically like " I appreciate your input but this is MY baby, meaning I'll name. You probably won't like what I chose, but IDGAF, because again it's MY baby, and it's not like I'm going to name it Apple"
It was taken very well. The big concern is the baby keeps my last name, which it will. I mean I single handedly have carried the Rivers name into the next generation with my son anyway ( my family is riddled with girls and my son is only one of 4 Rivers men)
My husband has naming rights (I really didn't think we would have anymore kids) he was really set on Isabella and Annabelle. That is way to matchy for me so I have been throwing out names for him and I think Annabelle has been scratched because nn would be Anna and that is his sister's name and we don't like her. So we care kinda back at square one.
DH is being a PITA about coming up with a girl name. I finally told him if we make it to D-day and he STILL has not compromised on a name with me, then I'm pulling rank and will name her myself ( Arianna Rose). I was only half kidding when I told him that. Seriously, any name I put out there he shoots down, and to make if worse he NEVER offers up any other names. DD's name was so easy we had it picked out before we hit 12 weeks. Now we struggled to come up with a boys name last time but did finally settle on one which we already agreed we would use on this baby if it was a boy. I went thru a whole baby name book with him one day and offered up every girls name I didn't hate just to see if he would say "maybe" to one. He said no to ALL of them. Good thing we've got a few weeks until D-day.
@Camobride2010 My fiance is being slow about the name process....He just keeps saying, "I like it! Add it to the list". Told him I was going to name her myself.
Lila Grace for our baby girl! Lila is a family name, my aunt passed away as an infant and God gave my grandma Grace to continue on and live for her other kids so the name is fitting
I'm having twins we have found out that 1 is a boy n the other wants 2 remain a secret for now - I do have a 4yrs daughter and her name is Leah Mae, this time I like the names Lacey Rae or Demi Leigh for girls I find girls are easier to name than boys!!!
We have spent eons on names and the one we've embraced for this little girl is: Arya
Other choices: Freyja Morgan Ciara (Gaelic, pronounced kee-ra) Kaylee (my and my twin's middle names put together) Twyla (my mom's name, which she hates but I love)
