Re: [dirty delete]

  • Even if your doctor for some reason says it's ok I would really try to find another way to manage your depression while pregnant because Paxil is category D which means there is evidence that it causes birth defects. There may be another medication that's safer, I would ask.
  • No experience with Paxil, but telling people how to respond on here isn't the way to go. Just saying.

Have any other women been advised to continue paxil use during pregnancy? What was the outcome for you? And please, no lectures about presceiption drug use, etc.
    Thanks

This is a specific question for your health providers. Others' experiences mean nothing for you or whether you should continue your drugs. Please talk to your doctor.

  • I am aware
aware. I am just wondering how other women in the same situation felt emotionally about continuing the medication.

This is something that is such a personal experience, I'm not sure what you would get from other peoples experiences.

We don't know you or your medical history, and you don't know us or our medical history. Asking internet strangers for their experiences means nothing when it's not in context.

This is a conversation between you and your doctor.
    Exactly.

If you are looking for others who made the same choice so you can feel like you have "permission" to do so? Do you feel guilty for continuing the drug?

You have to do what feels right for you.

  • I never understand the point of dirty delete when what is said is right fucking there?!
  • Wow. Everyone needs to chill. Why get your panties in a bunch over something a stranger did on a message board? If someone can tell me how to actually delete it, that would help. However, there does not appear to be a delete option.

You can't. It's a message board. That's the point. No delete for you... Why delete though, honestly?
