You can all say "oh being a woman has nothing to do with it" but women are notoriously catty with one another period. As someone studying psychology and biology for her major I can tell you that it's not just a stereo type, its science, it has been studied, and it is biological. So go whine and cry about it all you want but the truth is the truth.
Please note that due to the actions of TheBump and their parent company, XO Corporation, I no longer feel safe or comfortable posting regularly on this forum for my pregnancy journey.

So? Just because I haven't actively posted with all of ya'lls drama does not mean that I haven't read it. Mostly I just look for my answer and go on my way because posting a question is wrong- all you get are a bunch of bitter bitties saying to read the newbie post.
Then why are you here if you don't plan on being an active member?

And as far as taking out frustrations- I said some women- I have been a member for 4 years now and I HAVE seen some posts where women got pretty nasty with someone who got pregnant. One in specific telling her to get the fuck out of TTC. If that does not reek bitterness, then I don't know what does. Personally I don't feel like its wrong for someone who has been on this site to share her joy of becoming pregnant.
50% of the board (roughly) has kids already. Not tolerating fuckery has nothing to do with the functioning of someone's uterus.
Because its cute! And I really wanted to try and participate while I'm TTC since I have PCOS and I know it's going to be difficult- but def thinking I'm better on my own as of today.

awwwww looks like a really struck a nerve on some people. It's cool.
Not to get too judgemental or catty, but there's a spelling error in the first one.
"...This lead to feelings of envy. “I thought, damn! If only I could look like that when I walk through the door. Not to mention, she is also more outgoing than me and so much more confidant when it comes to men.” One can see from this casual remark how my friend quickly shifted from feeling competitive to putting herself down in relation to her co-worker."
I also don't see any links to scientific studies in either article (please correct me if I'm wrong because maybe I just missed the citations).
ANYWAY - I'm willing to admit that I've seen (in general) females be more passive in their aggression and males be more "physical" in theirs. HOWEVER - we are talking about internet forums. I think males can be just as "catty" as females on internet forums. Furthermore, the 1st article could easily be written about high school boys. I think these articles simplify something that is much more complex.
For example:
Original paragraph:
No woman likes to be called “catty.” But most of us can’t deny the times when our competitive feelings have slipped out by way of a sarcastic dig or a cutting comment. Just think of all those little statements we unleash, only to instantly (at least somewhat) regret it. That whisper to a friend about a co-worker’s inappropriate work attire: “Wow, someone’s skirt is riding high today.” The remark we made about the new girlfriend of someone we’ve had a crush on: “That girl is a tease. Just wait until she breaks his heart.” Whether coming out as a harsh one-time comment about a stranger or a full-on rant about a lifelong friend, cattiness often has a way of rearing its ugly head on occasions when we are afraid to expose our real competitive feelings.
Edited to fit for a HS boy paragraph:
No young man likes to be called an "asshole”. But most of us can’t deny the times when our competitive feelings have slipped out by way of a sarcastic dig or a cutting comment. Just think of all those little statements we unleash, only to instantly (at least somewhat) regret it. That whisper to a friend about a football player's nice suit: “Wow, look at Mr. Business Man, out to do some business.” The remark we made about the new boyfriend of someone we’ve had a crush on: “That guy is a douchebag. Just wait until he cheats on her.” Whether coming out as a harsh one-time comment about a stranger or a full-on rant about a lifelong friend, assholery often has a way of rearing its ugly head on occasions when we are afraid to expose our real competitive feelings.
I hope that wasn't too much of a rant. If it didn't make sense I'll just replace it all with a gif.

So sarcastic??? And seriously chill out with the dry humor... It almost makes you'll sound bitter... Maybe I'm wrong and if I am, I'm sorry. I've only come across a few helpful ppl the rest just follow the leader with the sarcastic responses
Girl, please. You've started three threads in the short time you've been here and your 12 replies have been only on said threads. You have not joined in on any other discussions or posted anywhere else that was recommended to you, such as the WTO and TWW threads. People have been nice to you and given you solid, legit, and downright helpful answers. And then you pull this out of your magician's hat?
You don't get to tell us to "chill out with the dry humor" because this is a public internet forum. As long as the TOU is not being broken, we can and will say what we want. If we're too sarcastic for your delicate sensibilities, then please feel free to move on, particularly after dropping the "bitter" card, because that shit just doesn't fly.
Edit: Spelling
Lol at all the responses. I did say some were helpful and not all are bitter. Y'all crucify newbies just because they post in wrong threads etc etc it's like you'll are a bunch of mean girls behind a computer screen, laptop or cell phone. I'm sure the attitude wouldn't be given face to face. I'm sure you'll would be careful on who to speak to a certain way.
I'm still on page 2 reading through this train wreck, but I wanted to point out that I made a newb mistake. The mistake was pointed out to me, I apologized and everyone moved on. How hard is that for you to do?

I'm this sarcastic & bitchy in real life. Not because I'm bitter -- I'm pretty happy overall, but because I've found it wards off the people I don't like. That sounds like winning to me.

Yup, I told someone today to stop posting and get the fuck out of TTGP. I don't actually usually tell people that, but she came on bragging about her 4 "early" pregnancy tests, so I think I'm still okay with it.

You know what's hilarious? Your sad attempts to rile up this board. They're pathetic and transparent and, to be quite frank, amateurish. If you want to continue this enterprise, please be aware that NO ONE here gives even the tiniest fuck about you. You'll eventually be gone, like so many others, and no one will miss you or even remember you. You'll be one of a bland, nameless many who don't seem to grasp that we don't need you and your stupid opinions about board culture. So kindly fuck the fuck off now. Or draw this thread out, feeling more and more pathetic and empty. Either way.

I miss everything in realtime bc of the time zone difference but I always enjoy catching up on last nights threads in the morning. Makes my coffee that much more enjoyable!
Still going through the mess trying to find what the OP said to get banned.
I'm thinking either something in another thread or for trolling.
Also, @FINEdoubleLINE , @ramaholic I have delicious cupcakes. I want in on the sharing of the double line that's fine.
