    audreym0824 Congrats! 

     Also in the 39w6 club! I had my appointment this morning and I'm 1.5cm 60% effaced and at -1 station, so progress is (slowly) being made. I was told not to get too excited or discouraged and that numbers are just numbers and to just think about other things. Easier said than done as we all know! :p

    I see a group of midwives and today I had the my least favorite midwife. She is rather rough, always late in and in a hurry and has manhands. I shrieked during the check and then she asked me, "Would you like me to sweep your membranes? This could induce labor but it will hurt a lot." Umm, no thanks! It really makes me wonder how I'm going to try and have a med-free labor, if I'm that much of a baby during a check. She is pretty rough though, because I'm bleeding just as much as I did last time when they actually did the sweep. Now I'm mega-crampy. 

    I was told I could come in Friday or Saturday and ask for a sweep if I want to. I know that the manhands midwife is off for the holidays, so maybe I will! DH is actually more impatient than I am and demands updates with all the gory details after my appointments. He wants this baby out so bad!

    I am right with you @runnershan about potentially being the last one. The midwives I see won't talk about inducing me until Dec 8th and even then, they don't always do it. I know originally I wanted a med-free, intervention-free birth, but now I kinda wish I would have seen an OB, so I wouldn't have to wait so damn long.

    My due date is today and I don't feel like anything will be happening anytime soon. I'm so ready to meet her and at this point I would welcome missing out on thanksgiving to be in the hospital! I'm not looking forward to all the comments from family tomorrow "you haven't had this baby yet?" "When are you going to have this baby?". I'm still crossin my fingers for a November baby! Next appointment is Friday, then we will schedule an induction date.

    @jcp2123 The comments are the worst. So ready to not come back to work next week, so I can avoid (most of) them. Hope you get some progress!

    @KUinCBUS‌ YES!!!!! I want to be that 4% that actually delivers on my due date, especially because 11/28 is so awesome! Then I get a baby and muffins, right??

    I thought I was having noooooo progress at all until my OB appointment on Monday. I was totally prepared for a December baby (FYI: D birthstone is prettier than N!) but now I'm thinking she'll make it here before Sunday (and hopefully after Macy's parade!!)

    @WildFlower810‌ looks good!!! I wish I had a nursery! She'll be staying in my room for now (perk of a massive master!) plenty of room, but I'm not decorating it for her :(

    ETA.... Oops! Never mind ;) I'm one hoping not to go on the 28th. Its my cousins sons bday. I'm crossing my fingers for Dec 1, I Do like the birthstone better.lol

    That pretty birthstone is basically the only reason I wouldn't mind if she waited until December! I'm in BC, where they won't let you go past 41 weeks, so December 5th at the latest!

    I shouldn't be complaining yet, because I still have 2 days before 40 weeks.

    December 1 is 42 weeks for me so it's possible. I have an appointment Friday, hopefully if I'm still waiting they'll agree to induce Sunday night ;) if baby is ok I can hang on. Lol

    Pretty sure my membranes released some fluid. Not sure if it was the fore or hindwaters. But I woke up at 9pm from a nap feeling damp, and by the time I got to the bathroom there was a decent gush by the time I had my pants down. Called my midwife. I have a giant pad on now. Now we wait. Drinking lots of water.

    They didn't fully rupture since there's still plenty of fluid around her.

    I think I've finally come to terms with having a December baby. I really hoped this little girl would arrive in November, because I have a December birthday and I absolutely hate it. But I'm 40+1 with almost no signs of labor (50% effaced for weeks, no dilation). My next appointment couldn't be scheduled until Wednesday, so if it's an induction, it's going to be in December.

    It's going to be a quiet weekend at the house, in-laws live two hours away and there's no way I could handle being in the car that long. I'm almost looking forward to a quiet Thanksgiving. Lots of football, sitting around, and maybe going to Hometown Buffet. I think that's exactly what I need right now.

    @wildflower810 - I been some unusal waves of nausea too. I hope it's correlated with labor.
    40 weeks 1 day - no MP only slight cramps so I might be having an December baby too. NST and amino check was good yesterday.

    DH is nesting like crazy and anxious. He says he just has a feeling that the baby is coming soon. I am laying on the couch stuffing my face watching him scurry around. I have had a lot of cramping and pressure but had hardly any contractions all day. We are going into the midwife unit to try to do a sweep tomorrow, so we'll see if he is right. I hope he is!

    Still here. Appointment on Wednesday for ultrasound and induction discussion but I don't know what that means really...discussion? Scheduling an appointment? No idea. All I know is they yold me that they wouldn't let me go past 41 weeks, but again I don't know if that means scheduling an induction *before* 41 weeks or scheduling one during my 41st week. Ugh. I wish my water would just spontaneously break, but I don't even think I've been having BH let alone actual contractions. The only hint I've had is some cramping/back pain and I think baby's moved down a little, though s/he seems to be trying to wiggle back up. COME OUT.
