Hey ladies! We will eventually reach the end, but I know it seems so far away! Just went in for a cervical check and membrane sweep and now I am waiting I'm in L&D triage for a NST and a blood test, because my blood pressure is too high. I am hoping that we see more 11/28 babies today!
Maybe the membrane sweep will jump start you and you'll have an 11/28 baby (:

I hope so! I am only 1.5 cm dilated though so it would have to be fast and furious!

Stranger things have happened, and it is the 28th after all
It's been fun gals! I'm out of this thread as of 11:03 last night. Full birth story to come, but it was exactly what I wanted. @kfo22 You can do this med free!! I did yesterday, and wouldn't have traded the experience for anything.
I love you and your positive attitude!! I am thrilled to bits with the end result, but I would have traded the experience for drugs!!
But yes, I am proof @kfo22 that you can birth even a posterior baby with a 37cm head and oxytocin all whilst battling SPD WITHOUT drugs!
Still here too! Had an appointment today and no change from last week still 4 cm and 80%. so ready to meet this little girl! Wishing she would come out! Scheduled my induction for Monday so at least there is an end in sight!
Had some positive signs today thst labor is getting closer. I'm hopefully that I go into labor before 5pm on Tuesday, when my RCS is scheduled. I would prefer a VBAC, but also I really don't want to go all day without food or drink in prep for the csection on Tuesday. The last time I'll be able to eat or drink anything is 6am. But if the end result is a baby, I can hang.
I had the sweep at 1:40 followed by four hours in the L&D triage where they monitored my blood pressure and did a NST. I was getting some regular, strong contractions for the first couple hours of the sweep, but they dissipated. My blood pressure is still a bit high, but I passed all my lab work so they sent me home. Now I am just crampy and sore. They did tell me that if they wouldn't be surprised if the baby might come this weekend. I have another appointment on Monday to monitor BP and check my cervix/do another sweep.
Any other ladies getting close? Good luck to you @rroberts2140!
If ONE more person says to me "Well, what are you waiting for?" I may freaking snap. I've already heard it today, three times. Oh random people, you are sooooo original. :-@
YES! People keep going between "well, she'll come when she's ready, you just have to be patient", and "you're STILL PREGNANT?!". I know people mostly just don't know what to say, but I'm over a week overdue at this point, not dilated at all, and have almost a week until my induction date. I know that I just have to wait it out, but being told to be patient at this point is no fun...I'm ready to be done throwing up all the time and just hold this LO on the outside. Oh well, she's worth it, and hey, glass half full-I'm being induced Thursday so either way she'll be here soon.
Feeling super sick tonight ): Talon needs to come out soon, I hate feeling nauseous. Good night all! I hope everyone makes some progress tonight. I'm just hoping either 1: I go into labor, or 2: I feel better in the morning.
40weeks 1day today. I was hoping to go for a vbac, unfortunately not going into natural labour yet. Only have 4 days left. Doubting I'll go into labour within these days. Disappointed but slowly accepting my fate..
In my "non-baby having" haze, I forgot the housecleaners were coming this morning. (Actually, I could've sworn it was next weekend.) Had to go to the door in my bathrobe, which barely covers my bump) to let them in and then hide in the bedroom so we could get dressed. Did I mention we had just finished trying to stimulate labor? Ten minutes earlier, and I would NOT have gone to that front door.
Anyone have any thing I can do to make this nausea go away besides have this kiddo? I'm out of nausea medicine and I really don't wanna go to convenient care or the er just for nausea lol
@LivInCA nothing yet. Sitting and standing are my only relief so I'm just trying to not recline or lay down lol only have to make it to Tuesday thank you though
Ughhhhh no signs of impending labor today. I had a meltdown this morning, because DH and I wanted to get out of the house but I couldn't figure out what shoes would fit and not make me freeze. I ended up wearing my new flats and bringing a blanket for my feet, but before I did I had a tantrum/pity party/sob session. I can't imagine 12+ more days of this! I am in pain all the time and can't enjoy much of anything anymore. Part of me wishes I would have seen an OB because they wouldn't let me go past 42 weeks, whereas the midwives sometimes do. (
@snarkylibrarian I'm feeling your pain on the shoe front. My feet swell like nobody's business when I'm pregnant. I nought new boots a month ago, but who knows if I'll actually get to wear them this year. I doubt I'll feel like dressing to impress for a while after DS finally gets here.
Well I officially got kicked out of this thread yesterday. Full birth story to come later but it was a quick labor and faster unplanned unmedicated delivery. Good luck to all you ladies still hanging in there.
Still no outside baby!! What the heck haha. Of course after I order two necklaces for my MIL and SIL with November birth stones this stubborn little girl would become a December baby lol. I don't want to leave this group though so we will just pretend that November is 7 days longer than it really is. Haha.
Lol I'm not leaving this group either even if he doesn't come in the next 24 hours. I think the other ladies will keep us
Yay December babies in the November 2014 Moms group! Hey, we can all really "connect" seeing as how we're all late and probably going into December. (Throwback to the Nov. 28th thread.)
Definitely think I am in the running for last. I could also be as late as the 12th or later if the midwives won't induce me. I think if that's the case, I will just crawl to an OB and tell them to get the baby out NOW.
@kfo22 that's what I thought too, so I had to have it lol! And it has a matching stroller/car seat. But I'm not gunna risk returning mine and not having one to bring LO home from the hospital in.
@chesneybrynn Ooh! I love those colors. Ours are turquoise and gray with an elephant theme. We don't have a nursery yet though, just a little nook in our bedroom until we move in the spring, but I'm so ready to decorate!
My in-laws (who will be watching DD while I'm in the hospital) have been lurking around for 3 loooong weeks waiting for LO to arrive. I'm not sure I can take another week or two of them hanging about. They just called, they are stopping by again, today after church.
Baby is still on the inside, I have no signs of labor. Also, my MIL is anti-VBAC (for my specific situation, not in all cases) so it's clear she's annoyed since the kid could have been here 2 weeks ago.
Le sigh. Everyone else seems more upset about this kid's timeline than I am. DH and I just want LO to arrive when he's ready.
BUT, please let me go ahead and apologize to all who are seriously inconvenienced... I'm sorry:
MIL & FIL
Mom & Dad
Grocery store clerk guy
Our letter carrier
Our next door neighbor
All our random distant relatives
All our random clients and co-workers
Friends of my parents and in-laws (whom I have never met)
and finally...
Cashier at Wendy's (who is probably judging my Frosty addiction)
) OMG, dying here! The cashier at Wendy's, too funny! The pressure that other people put on us is crazy, but I'm happy for an opportunity to laugh. I think I've gotten to the point where I'm so bitchy that people are scared to ask me about the baby.

I love elephants! I wonder if they have anything like that. I'll look for ya (:
Feeling like I'm in the running for last runner up. Doc won't induce until the 9th. While it's not the 12th (so sorry to hear that) it's definitely farther away than I'd like. Little man is estimated to be almost 9 lbs now and we are 40+3 today. Please, body, do your thing soon! SO is losing faith that it will ever happen. He informed me this morning that since we haven't seen any signs yet, he doesn't think my body is able to go into labor on its own at all and then wondered why I was upset. Men.
@clarasmomma Yup. Exact same thing happens to me. Crampy with contractions at night and then I wake up to nothing. So frustrating!
@sparkleanne *hugs* I don't think men realize how their doubts about our bodies knowing what to do can be so hurtful, especially if we are also questioning that ourselves.

Annnnd I'm still here ladies. It's suppose to be nice today so I'm gunna make FI go on a walk with me and the fur babies.
Hoping for labor soon for you!!
Good luck to everyone left!
And yes, I'm still pregnant with no signs of labor this morning.

@snarkylibrarian we are doing lavender and gray with elephants!
Was that bloody show I saw this morning, or.... maybe I'm hallucinating?
