I can hardly see through my tears.

My sister did really well in surgery, but they decided to do a different type of procedure that will now require her to be on crutches for 8 weeks instead of 4. She probably isn't even awake enough yet to know about this.

My mom had what she refers to as an "MS attack" on Saturday where she couldn't even stand.

We have no help when the babies come home. Just about one of the only things I could count on is now not possible. I'm devastated.

Thanks guys. I'm sure we will figure something out, but not having my mom or my sister able to help at all is really killing me.

@thedish0207 and @nomnomasaur0426 My mom was diagnosed with MS almost 20 years ago and generally does fairly well. She uses a cane or walker, and sometimes a scooter if we are going long distances, but has been doing really well lately. She hasn't even told me about the episode, dad did. She felt fine and simply got out of the car and her legs didn't hold her. My mom and I have a strained relationship (honestly because she is a constant pity party) and this makes it even worse when I know she isn't doing well.

I have been having dreams about PTL and the babies coming early, etc. and have been working really hard to keep any anxiety at bay by washing/hanging clothes, making lists, organizing, etc. Today, I throw in the towel. Temporarily, but I'm throwing it in. I'll get it back out soon.

Thanks for all the hugs and Ts and Ps. I need them today! Poor DH doesn't really understand that this is more about me not having my family to help more than just "not having help."

I have friends that have offered (literally, to drive from 3 hours away to help for weeks at a time), but it isn't the same. Pretty soon, I'll take them up on it, but I'm not done with my towel throwing in yet.

@kefttsc‌ I'm so sorry. Here's to hoping that your sisters recovery goes smoothly and she can be at a point of being some help once the babies come... Again, not ideal but even her lounging with babies in her arms while you shower or whatever could be huge. And I'm so sorry about your mom... It sounds like the ladies over there are having a rough go and I hope everyone can experience some distraction and healing when the babies get here.

It looks like I'm going to be MIA again until Saturday or Sunday. The flight to Arizona that I had mentioned a week or so ago looks wide open for tomorrow morning, so we are going to go. I am so glad that we are going to get out there and that we don't have to drive it!

Ella fell asleep on the way home from the mall so I didn't get my nap/rest while she had quiet time in her crib. I am hella exhausted. Early night tonight for sure!

My ultrasound was scheduled for 2:30 and I'm still waiting 45 minutes later...at what point do you just leave and reschedule somewhere else?

Any one else experiencing TERRIBLE back pain ALL THE TIME? Sitting blows and I don't have the option to stand at my job... ALL I want to do is lay on my back on a hardwood floor...

Yes. Nothing is comfortable. DH has been giving nightly back rubs that help, but I have found that I have to switch positions super often....

Yes except lying down on my back hurts too. I laid on the floor with Ella the other day and could barely get back up. The only comfortable position is lying flat, on my side. Driving is sooo uncomfortable. I can't believe we are only just starting the 3rd tri!

Oh so healthy!

I had half of Ella's hot dog, some fries, a Venti caramel brulee frap, and an old fashioned glazed donut. I cannot believe I don't feel sick and/or hungry!!

I know this response is pages late, but i just got on the bump. The only thing to watch out for with pre - registering at the hospital and then changing insurance: the bills afterward. I did that with DS, updated the form weeks before he was born with the new insurance and the hospital still billed the wrong insurance for some things. (I got the bills somehow) i called either the insurance or the hospital and it all got straightened out eventually.

Here is my vote for brownie corners as the best, but i won't turn down a delicious gooey center piece either. I'll have to look for that ghiradelli mix next Costco run. Sounds awesome.

Maybe it is because the weight of the twins is so much, but if I am on my back for more than 5 minutes or so I am horrible nauseated. They have to do my ultrasounds with me sitting up actually!

So I just saw where Hayden Panettiere was wearing a bikini while 8 months pregnant. I think she looks amazing and I would wear the same thing too if I looked as good as her! But I was so appalled by the article and the comments. It is so rude for people to be commenting on her size. She is 5'0" and about to have a baby - she looks lovely. I just hope I can look as good as her when I'm 8 months pregnant!

LOL- I've been super busy and unable to check Bump for the past few days. I just checked in and saw a post about 2nd showers, kicking a significant other out, and other hot topics. What has been happening while I've been away!?

I am looking forward to reading the spam thread on my train ride home (or in the bath tub tonight), so I'll post again later once I've caught up.

In the mean time, my work shower was today and went great! It had a Peter Rabbit theme and they gave me a copy of the Complete Tales of Beatrix Potter where everyone signed the inside cover. So thoughtful!
