We are naming our little one Isabella (will be calling her Bella), but we can't decide between two names for her middle name. Which sounds better, Isabella Noel or Isabella Nicole?
Oddly enough these names are on my list as well, and no it has nothing to do with twilight...I'm leaning more towards Isabella Nicole, bc it flows more with our last name
I like Noelle best, but if you go with Nicole, please don't spell it as Nichole. There was a mean girl I knew in junior high with that spelling and she was really snotty about her name spelling. So she would say "it's NICHOLE - nic- hole" and people would always retort with "oh as in ASShole?"
Not a fan of twilight or vampire diaries, and I love the name Isabella and Elaina. One of our names on our list was Katerina, and people kept asking if I was a vamp diaries fan.... I think that will blow over by the time our kids hit school though. So I would just pick the name you like and forget pop culture. I like Noel.
I really like Isabelle Noel. I think either way is a win win. They both sound cute. But I'm also kinda partial to Nicole because that's my middle name. It flows with everything. Good luck!
I think anyone who names anything Bella at this point is completely unoriginal. My 4 year old dog is named Bella and it's the #1 dog name the last 5 years. I regret naming my dog such a common name. You might as well name ur kid Sarah or Ashley since you want such a common, boring, OVER USED name. Sorry to burst ur bubble.

I don't see anything wrong with using common names. The whole Bella thing is dumb for an entirely different reason (naming the kid after an empty Mary sue character).
Common isn't a swearword. There are billions of people now, super special is kind of a dumb goal.
Thanks, everyone! It's just hard to decide because we love the name Noelle (I really like that spelling also so thanks!), but Nicole is my name so it would be nice to pass my name down to our little girl since our son has my husband's middle name as his also.

I see nothing wrong with the names Sarah or Ashley. Should I change my name since it was #1 for basically all the 80s And 90s? Originality shouldn't be the only goal for naming your child.
I like Nicole better. Isabella isn't my style, but I'm glad that you have found something that you like. Good luck sorting through all these responses to figure out what you're going to do about the middle name. For what it's worth, I don't think that a middle name is a huge deal as long as you don't go with someone way way out there.
Ours will be Isabella Anne. Her name was suppose to be Isabella James, but my husband's mother died the day of our gender reveal party and Isabella was her favorite out of the girls names we had told her the night before and Anne is her middle name. Sometimes names aren't perfect for everyone, but that is OK, they just have to be perfect for you. As for unique names, mine is Trista, and I hated growing up with a unique name that was always mispronounced. I vote Isabella noelle.

Noelle is much prettier in my opinion but the choice is yours
Pretty names btw
And in Twilight her middle name was Marie if memory serves me right.
Noel is a male name. Noelle is lovely. They are said differently so it isn't just about the spelling.
