I am sorry if this may be a stupid question, but STM+ have your pregnancy/ies ever been similiar to your mother's?
I know every pregnancy is different, but so far it seems my symptoms fall in line with what my mother went through with my siblings and I, and she shared today that she didn't need to use drugs with labor because her contractions were only as bad as menstraul cramps.
I am hoping beyond hope that I may go through the same type of labor that she experienced. (Granted there's no risks/complications)

There's a pregnant woman at my job whose mother went into labor with "normal sized" babies at 34-35 weeks. She was expecting that and has been complaining that baby is being stubborn for not being out already at 37. Don't be surprised if your contractions are stronger/more painful.
However, when I open my mouth my mother comes out most of the time. Ha. SO in life yes... just not in pregnancy.
The only thing our pregnancies had in common was quick labour - I went from 2 to 8 cms in less than an hour. The doctor didn't make it for any of my moms deliveries - we were all delivered by interns.
I actually had to read it a few times. I've heard ppl say a week or 2 early but this is the first time I've ever heard anyone say 4 weeks. I thought I was misreading this because who in their right mind hopes for a preemie?
Back to my FFFC ..... This poor next generation doesn't stand a chance.
I'm just having a tough time with the unknown, and now I have crazy dreams about labor and delivery which puts it on my mind all the more!
But I will have to wait and see!
She also had 8lb+ babies (my bro was 9.9) and DS was 5lb6oz (2 weeks early but still he wouldn't have been close to 8lb). I had to be induced and went through 27 hours of labor. All of her deliveries went fast..she didn't haven't time for an epidural with my sister. So no unfortunately I'm not following her so far..wouldn't mind a fast delivery this go round.
She had a 7 hour labor with her first and a 3 hour labor with me. Wish that would have been similar to me since I had a 24 hour labor with my son. I hope the next baby is more similar to her second labor!
It gives me do much appreciation for what she went through. I've gotten sick maybe a total of 7 times and I'm such a big baby.
Also I am going to assume that the lady hoping for a preemie just doesn't realize that 36 weeks is a preemie. Because seriously???
