I found the Christmas station while scanning the car radio yesterday and I did not turn it off. I may or may not have sung along. Ok, I did. I'm a caroling caroler who carols for Christmas.
FFFC: I am sick of people feeling sorry for DS because his parents are divorced. I am not suggesting that living in 2 homes is better or easier. I am not suggesting that it does not come with some hardships for him. But I'm also not going to assume he's damaged. He has a wonderful father and a great mother (if I may say so). He knows the schedule, and knows he is loved by both of us, and our families. I don't need your pity.
It also doesn't make me "pro-divorce". It doesn't make any of us anything except a product of our situation.
@ShakeyJakey: no matter what happens, you'll be fine. Your LO will be fine. I'm not minimizing the fact that right now it' feels awful and scary and dark, but I promise you will all be OK.
If being a math nerd is wrong, I don't wanna be right!
I've lurked a long time, but want to start actually posting...
When I got married I tried to get DH to take my name because his is Polish and really long. It took me a long time to learn to say and spell it. And now I have to pay a lot more attention when waiting for someone to call my name (like Dr appts) because everyone butchers it that I used to miss being called. But on a good note I'm really good at writing z's now.
I do have a FFFC but please don't think I'm horrible. I'm having a hard time adjusting to having a baby again. Sometimes I get irrationally upset that DS2 won't sleep or other normal baby things. It's dumb and I know it, but cannot seem to stop it. I also think sometimes my frustration is taken out on the other 2. I knew 3 would be tough, but I guess I thought I would have adjusted by now.
Oh man, this is probably why I don't post...I know this is all anonymous but I haven't even told DH how much this is getting to me.
I get on Yik Yak and reply to teenager's stupid comments sometimes.
Please to elaborate.
Well, I never say anything mean or out of line. A lot of times I'm just trying to interject some common sense into the thread. Anyway, the confession is really just that I get on Yik Yak and post comments at all. My teenagers know I get on there and read, but when they ask if I ever comment I'm like, "No, of course not."
I'm going to go to a sex club in the near future just to see what it's like. CSG is taking me. He used to DJ at one, and he has a CHL, so I'll feel infinitely safer with him than I would going alone.
It'll be like a human zoo trip. I'm embarrassingly excited.
Also, embarrassed to admit it here.
It's an app you can get on your phone. And it's pretty much teenager/college aged kids posting comments and you can comment on what other people post. You can only see Yik Yaks from the area you are in at the time, like within a 5 mile radius I think. So, during a football game a bunch of kids from both schools will get on there and talk shit during the game. They talk about sex ALOT and just whatever other stuff teens talk about. And it's all anonymous.
My FFFC: I work from home on Fridays. Usually I use my lunch for something productive, like vacuuming. But last week I took a nice long shower and sang show tunes, and it was awesome. Looking forward to noon today!
I can't get the ticker to work, but I have two sons:
Are sex clubs a legitimate business? Like a strip club? Or are they just parties at somebody's house? I have so many questions

I work from home full time. Being able to have an uninterrupted shower and lunch are definite perks to a job that I otherwise hate.

Yeah, but they can't sell booze there, I guess.
this is getting worse and worse by the minute. Is it BYOB at least?
Alcohol isn't allowed at sex clubs because of safety issues. It's already hard for the people that work there to make sure everything goes smoothly adding alcohol to the mix just makes things harder. They also can't trust anyone to handle equipment (if there is any) while drinking. They want everyone to be clear headed and aware of whatever activities they're doing.
FFFC: am kinda interested to hear how the sex club experience goes. I've never 'known' anyone that has been before and would be wayyyyyy to chicken to ever go myself.
My late teens/early 20s self would have totally gone to a sex club & probably had all the sex. I went to every other club & had all the sex so whats the difference. Prude I was not.

I don't like my married name either. My maiden name was much prettier.
No! She will need her hands to eat her actual lunch. Pick another body part.

I'm thinking swings & things of the like. I feel like I know this from a SVU episode I watched once.
