Maybe this should go in fffc, but once i was getting LO out of the crib, and has lifted his feet with my hand under his neck, and he just bucked his whole body and did a back flip. I freaked out thinking he had broken his neck or something, but he was fine. So I still put him down feet first, but try to pick him up flat.

I can't seem to put LO down without waking him either. However. ...I think the fact that he ends up going down awake or drowsy because he has learned to fall asleep himself. With the help of his paci and Baby Einstein aquarium
I bought LO a pair of Zutano booties...they arrived today....I am dying of the cuteness. I want them in more colors. And now I want to buy my niece a pair because the girl patterns are adorable!
@lappyfoinker For some reason every time I see your screen name, I think it's a British slang term for penis. And no I'm not drunk. Try using it in a sentence as a synonym for dickhead.
I had a really really tough mom day. LO screamed at me for most of it. I jokingly told DH to bring me home the largest coldstone ever. And he did! And I just ate the whole damn thing!! I am also on my second giant glass of Zinfandel. So good. Coldstone and wine are my solution to a tough mom day. DH can give a bottle tonight from the freezer. I'm getting buzzed and passing out.
A girl on my Facebook just had a 12 lb, 14 oz baby and she was only 38 weeks. I can't even wrap my mind around this right now. Adaleigh only weighs 12 lbs, 11 oz at nearly 4 months old. @-)
Dear god. Mine was only 6lb 2oz at birth and it hurt like hell. My vagina and uterus are weeping at the thought of birthing a 12 lb baby.
I can't imagine carrying that weight around! But the pain? The magic of modern medicine took every bit of my pain away for my 8lb 13.5oz LO. But then again, the magic of modern medicine put me into labor since I had to be induced.

I'm stalking this house I want on Zillow and part of me was thinking we might be able to get it since it has been listed for a while. Well, it just dropped $20,000 and we are not ready to buy! Someone will definitely snag it up now.

Oh, yes she had a c section!! Oh my goodness, could you imagine?! There wouldn't be enough epidurals in the world to take the edge off that!
I'd rather not imagine! Lol

Wanted to share my favorite patient from yesterday!
Looks like a BOA I had one when I was younger we had a couple snakes. My boas name was pepper because he had all these black dots all over him. He bit me right above my lip once. It didn't really hurt it was super quick. have you been bitten before?
Not by a snake, but pretty much every other species.
My skin has been awful since giving birth and now has completely cleared up after being back to work one week. I wonder if it's stress related? The whole time I was home I was worried about simulating LO enough, getting him to stop crying, getting him on a schedule, etc. I don't know. It might just be my hormones finally balancing out.

It kinda makes me sad because I was so happy and looking forward to the future when I was that young. I had no idea life would be so hard. Thats how it goes I suppose. I'm happy now but I can't even relate to the past me. I thought I knew everything.
*Having a moment lol.
Yep well said.. I think this every time I see old pics of myself! Also I get sad at how skinny and cute and carefree I was lol it's sad but life is hard no matter what path you take and no teenager is capable of understanding that yet! You only see the freedom of adulthood but not the multitude of responsibilities that make it so you really DON'T have all that freedom...
I'm almost 26, but I still feel 17. Sometimes I wake up and I'm like "holy shit I have a husband and a baby and a job and bills and omg". 17 was my favorite age.
My fondest memories are of being 21, in college, living with my then boyfriend now husband in our first apartment and having no responsibilities but to go to class, the gym, and getting drunk at the bars every weekend lol... I miss those days sometimes!
Since this is random...anyone know if it's possible for there to be hemorrhoids in your hooha area? There is like this non painful, soft cyst like thing on the inside but very close to the outside that I noticed while changing tampons the other day. Really freaking me out right now. I'm pretty sure it went down in size and then back up. If it is still there in a couple days I'm making an appt with OB.

Men, I like adult life much, much more and my life was definitely harder as a teenager than what it is now. I look at pictures of me as a teenager and feel sad at how MUCH responsibility I had and how stressed and depressed I was (although at the time I just thought that was life).
Wow that got sad quick. Some body pass me the Oreo soup!
Shank you all for your suggestions. I took some ibuprofen last night to see if it was inflamed and it seems to be way down. Maybe tampons cause some irritation??
I haven't used tampons in years. I was already dry downstairs and didn't need something sucking up all of the moisture.
I thought pads were disgusting before baby. Now I don't mind them. You don't have to watch the clock with pads (or maybe I'm the only one who did/does). I don't like the bulkiness of pads, though. I always feel like someone can see them no matter what I wear.
