Please. I started to clear out my library today, because it is going to be the new nursery. That lasted for about 5 minutes before I got sore and tired.
F15 December Siggy Challenge: Holiday Decoration Fails
No we are moving and are painting the bedroom right now. I'll put a dresser with changing pad on top in there but will use a pack and play in our room so probably won't buy the crib until the baby is a few months old. She will be in our room so no rush!
Not even close, you're ahead of the game. Currently the "nursery" is still a guest room and the closet is being used as storage. I have a storage room downstairs that I need to clean out, that's the future guest room. I have yet to buy furniture for the nursery. The only things I bought so far for the baby are some onesies and swaddling towels I picked up at a sale last weekend.
We're not having a nursery. So I guess that means I win the race to being finished the nursery? Lol
He'll live in a bassinet by our bed until he outgrows it. Then we'll buy him a crib. I can't give up my office or spare room (as my mom will be staying in the spare room so I can finish my dissertation), so we plan to either keep him in our room or put him on the upstairs landing outside of our room when he's big enough for a crib.
So, no nursery. But I am getting a little antsy about making his baby blanket! :-)
Our nursery is still being used as the "dump" room. At this rate the baby will be sleeping on boxes of Christmas decorations and old golf clubs. We've not even bought one thing yet either!! It'll be fine we've all got loads of time.
It's is so reassuring to hear I'm not the only one with a "dump" room. But now that our dump room is being turned into a nursery where will I dump all the stuff I don't know what to do with?!?
I guess I'll have to ORGANIZE. Yikes .
Ha ha. See, you're already one step ahead of me. I have not even thought about what to do with all stuff.
Haven't even started. Brielle's furniture and crib are all sitting in the room, along with all the Christmas decorations, the spare bed, and other furniture that doesn't go with her furniture. And the crib isn't even put together yet either. So, no, you're not alone.
I'm so glad that I'm not the only one not ready! This makes me calm down some. I'm a planner and so it's been slightly overwhelming!!! Y'all have made me feel so much better lol
STM and Im a planner so I need shit to be done or I have anxiety...we are painting (well DH is) and have 3 walls done and he's doing the accent wall this weekend. I have the crib picked out
and need to order it. headed to ikea this weekend to get some accents. I dont need it completely done but i want a changing table and dresser set up before he arrives.
Like PP said, just sit down and plan 1/2 day each weekend to do something so it's not overwhelming

I have a headache already.
