He did it again

DH put 5 freaking white undershirts that were clean in the dirty laundry! He does this because they are wrinkled...they are wrinkled because after I folded them and put them in the laudnry basket I asked him to do one simple thing and put them away. Well, he didn't and instead he would just comb through the laundry basket everyday and toss sh!t around and now the shirts are wrinkled!

I am furious with him right now. I am so backed up on laundry and cleaning since my dad was in town for 4 days and it was my birthday. Now he makes more work for me?! Hes gonna get a mouthful when he gets home. I am seriously done doing his laundry.

Is it bad that I sometimes do this? I don't feel like ironing, so I usually toss the stuff in with a load I am doing. I know, it's bad, but at least I am the one doing the laundry.

Dh and I both grew up in homes where everyone did their own laundry so it seems odd to me that someone else would do it.

Dh is a part time SAHM dad and he does pretty much all of the chores when he isn't working except laundry. I would never think to have him do mine (or vice versa).

DH and I trade off doing the laundry in general, our clothes are all mixed together in the hampers. I have to admit, I'm the slacker when it comes to putting stuff away, but I know that's my fault so I either iron the wrinkled clothes or wear them a little rumpled.

I would be annoyed too if half the laundry were already clean.

I ditto the undershirts in the dryer. I don't care if his are slightly stinky @ this point. I would tell him to start 1) throwing them in the dryer for a few w/a damp washcloth, 2) ironing them id he wants them that crisp, or 3) do his own laundry.

That would so piss me off.

I generally lurk, but just wanted to add that I do all the laundry since I SAH, but I.do.not.iron. I freaking hate ironing, and sometimes clothes don't get put away/folded right out of the dryer. Once my DH got irritated by this, but I reminded him that we have an almost 8 month old, and folding laundry is pretty far down on my list of priorities.
