Re: Countdown is on...what do you have left to do for baby?
Have babies.
I'm sure there's a crapload of little things that I need to buy, but we will cross that bridge when we need it.
I'm so "meh" on to do lists right now.
N14 Nov. Siggy: CELEBRATION!
Just have her
WANT to:
Make the bow holder
my happy boy
Install car seat base
Wash newborn clothes (I want them to be fresh, so I'm waiting)

Write a few more thank you notes
Exchange some diapers that I got for my shower for a different brand
Buy a few just in case bottles
Talk to my HR dept to clear up last minute details about my "maternity leave" AKA sick days and unpaid leave
I'm sure there's more. I vascillate between thinking I have plenty of time panicking that everything needs to be done NOW.
Priorities:
- Sort & put away cloth diapers. They're in the dryer as we type.
- Build shelves in the baby's closet!! Come on, DH.
- Put baby clothes away on said closet shelves. I've washed about half of his clothes, carriers, swaddlers, etc.
- Pack my hospital bag
- Pack DS overnight bag
- Keep up with hypnobaby prep
- Pick a middle name!
Also would like to:
- Clean the *&@^*£# house. Always on the list. Never checked off.

- Scheduled maintenance on car. Honestly, not gonna happen.
- Wash baby clothes.
- Deep clean the house.
- Buy diaper pail/ garbage can thingy.
- Pack hospital bag.
I do have 5.5 weeks. Don't come early, kid, mommy has to finish marking essays before she deals with you.
Took the car seats and hospital bag out of my car today because it got hit and I took it in to get fixed. We will have to reinstall again tomorrow in the rental.
Have a bunch of returns to do and baby laundry to get fine. But the first wave of coming home outfits and blankets are done.
Really want to get my hair cut and a pedicure Thursday and have DH take some maternity pics this weekend hopefully I hold them in that long.
Need to buy fabric & have gma sew curtains.
Today I will wash the blankets, burp cloths and socks. Tip: I bought a mesh intimates garment bag to contain all the lil bitty socks in the wash
I also want to buy a twin comforter that matches the room (there's a twin bed in the nursery).
Also headed to target today to buy a few smaller items. Otherwise I'm hoarding my completion coupons & going to watch for some deals in the upcoming months. Wondering what black fri might bring fx I can get my mom or aunt to go for me if I find something lol.
Make my hospital bag & install the car seat base.

I have my baby shower tomorrow. Then this weekend I'll go shopping for last minute small things, like soap, lotion, nursing pads, etc.
I also have to get hubby to bring down the baby tub and the baby swing from up in the rafters in the garage and then clean those up.
That's pretty much it. I'd love to get the house clean but lol that ain't happenin'!
It's a page and a half (
Granted, I have the absolutes ready to go, you know, boobs, bassinet, diapers, wipes...
