Is everyone cleaning out their own car? I feel like pg princess but...ugh. All that crouching and reaching. I've never let my car get quite this bad. Wouldn't want anyone else to see it!
Take it to Autobell? No way I'd clean out my car right now other than pick up trash. It was bad enough trying to install the car seat base (DH took over).

HELL. NO. But the thought occurred to me to find out how much it would cost to pay someone else to do it.

No way- I had H clean mine. I told him that I was going to take it to an auto spa place and he decided to just do it himself a couple of weekends ago.
TTC since Sept 2011, Unexplained IF Oct 12 - Jan 14: 3 clomid/TI cycles, 2 hysteroscopies, 2 IUIs, 1 BFP (MMC @ 12w), 2 more IUIs Feb 14: Gonal-f + IUI #5 = BFP! (EDD 11/4/14) Baby boy arrived 11/13/14!
I've pretty much done all I'm going to do. I'm soooo tired all I want to do is nothing!
-I do need to get together some stuff for the hospital bag. Like others have said, I am wearing some of it so it might wait. I need to get the baby's stuff together.
-I was blessed to have an awesome friend who is a certified carseat tech put the base in! Since latch and stuff is new to us since our last baby 11 years ago. We'll put in dh's and my mom's base later.
-Don't get me started on the FMLA paperwork grr.....I already got one love letter from them denying me because I didn't mail their redundant form fast enough, I might add because I am still working delivering other people's mail.
-I did have big plans to do freezer meals. I have done exactly zero. I think it's going to stay that way! But I do have driving teens and Sams Club nearby so we'll survive somehow. I'm just out of motivation lol.
-the pump is here so I might try to wash and figure it out.
-the house, oh the house, it's constant around here! It's not bad just our usual hotspots.
Oh I just remembered somthing that might be helpful to many mamas here!
-get a supply of paper cups plates and plastic utensils! With my other kids, I would get 2 weeks worth. I don't usually use disposable things like this but it really saved work in the early days! Now I have older kids on dishwasher rotation so I didnt get any, but if you have just littles or even just you and dh, it helps!
I have been doing the opposite of nesting this last week and I have a ton to do but lack the motivation. I still have to sterilize nipples/pacis, wash remaining clothes/blankets, learn how to swaddle ::) , cook freezer meals, buy nurse treats, figure out work crap, the list goes on and on and on....
I was feeling yucky on October 10th and got last minute things I wanted done(prepped the last cloth diapers I needed and sorted baby clothes out). The October 11th I went into labor. I told SO after I was done on the 10th that the baby could come now cause we were ready.
@howin23 lol....that is certainly at the bottom of my list....but people keep telling me that baby will sleep alot and I will be bored. Hopefully I will be this lucky......and if I am, I will absolutely bake some Christmas cookies! ha ha!
I don't plan to start my after baby diet until January

I'm glad I'm not alone with the name thing. I'm thinking that may not happen before he arrives.
So, I still need to clean out the car and install the base. Wash and prep the bottles. Finishing prepping cloth diapers. Buy baby towels, bath things, postpartum necessities. Maybe a waterproof cover; thanks for the idea @abbyful! Try to pack a hospital bag. Make freezer meals if there is time/money/energy.
Another one for the no name category! I'm thinking we will finalize when she arrives!
I was super productive last Friday and Saturday so my list is very small now and finally at almost 38wks not feeling so overwhelmed
1. Organize breastfeeding and pumping supplies (my lactation specialist mom has been stockpiling all her samples and freebies for the last 9 months. I am super greatful but I seriously have 3 huge bags of supplies to go thru)
2. Sanitize bottles and buy new nipples(not a necessity as i do not plan to introduce the bottle till 3ish wks before ML is over)
3. Prep new cloth diapers, strip cloth diapers from DS.
Should be able to knock these last items off the list this weekend.

Swaddling is easy. Plus they will show you a gazillion times in the hospital if you need it. My dh was really good at it after just a couple days!
1) get to DH to figure out how to use our new videocamera
2) create a CareCalendar and an email to our coworkers, friends, and family to let them know our visitor policy and link to CC (we are asking that those who visit us in the first few weeks/month help us out with things)
3) finish up our wills and get them notarized
4) set up co-sleeper (will do this next weekend)
5) get some change and snacks for our hospital bags
6) schedule our birth announcement photo session
That's it!
Honestly, my biggest "to do" has been training in my temporary replacement at work. My supervisor really hasn't been much of a help in this department and I'm never given much time off the information desk to sit down with him and go over things.
Both of my showers are this weekend (couples shower thrown by dear friends, and family shower thrown by MIL) so I will have a lot to do come Monday! Currently 35 weeks, but going off of progesterone support at 36 weeks--the drop of hormone levels could trigger labor as early as 7-10 days after I stop progesterine, or I could go as late as 41 weeks and a couple of days before the doctor talks about an induction. There unfortunately isn't a science to it! Because of this, my husband and I need to be ready to go at about 37 weeks, just in case ;-) The nursery is entirely set up, but I haven't washed any clothing yet, as I've been hesitant to purchase much before having the showers. We are pretty much ready, with the exception of the following things:
-car seat safety check on Monday (we got the Cybex which has a stabilization bar, so we want to extra sure we install it correctly!)
-freezer meal prep
-any returns/exchanges of duplicates after the showers as needed, and then plan to purchase the rest with completion coupons!
-pack hospital bag--though realistically the majority of it will have to be packed at the last minute, so I will happy to have my hospital bag list completed by the end of next week.
-the only thing I feel majorly behind on is increasing our life insurance policies and, setting up the wills. DH's sister is a lawyer though and we are able to pretty much write up our own wills and she can help take care of the rest. DH is a business owner and it's just been difficult to set aside the time to get this taken care of!
