As soon as I laid down, LO was crying. Wtf? I have searched up, down, all around for some sensor, monitor, something that alerts her to the fact that mommy is finally in bed and she should wake up. She doesn't want anything. Except me to sit here while she sits on the floor. ( I am so sore all I want is to sleep. I am watching the hours until the others wake up slip away and am so.very.tired!
Took one of those "5 hour energy" things full of taurin and B12 you can find at the supermarket checkout registers because I had a super long, super boring, but also super important meeting yesterday right during the afternoon slump.
That I am laying here wide awake is either testimony to its effectiveness or a textbook example of my brain being more stupid than it has any right to be.

Maybe emigrating to the living room isn't such a bad thing, after all. Still hoping to suddenly not be able smell and fall asleep instantaneously.
Already AM here... I am sending sleepy dust to all of you...
@Mom2bois85 it's amazing! you should have done a picture tutorial for your J13 friends!!
LO was awake for an hour crying! I hate molars... just when he started sleeping well... nobody told me teething was the biggest problem when you have a baby

Thank you! So here's the process. For Halloween instead of using the Halloween store white cream makeup we are going to just use a super pale liquid foundation. The white cream makeup starts to crack and flake after awhile, so that will be different. I love how her nose came out. I used eyeliner, liquid shimmer liner and I dusted the tip of her nose with white glitter from the Halloween makeup palette we chose. The rest if the make up was mostly different colored eyeliners and makeup crayons
@Silv3rlining It's the first molars, he got 3 already and the fourth has been pushing through the last couple of days poor boy... he got 3 molars and 2 incisors in one week (a couple of weeks ago) and now this one...
@Mom2bois85 thank you thank you thank you! I guess I just found my halloween costume! I'll go make-up shopping later this week. I am also planning to buy some decorations, the neighborhood is organizing a trick and threat... it's uncommon in holland to celebrate Halloween so we're super excited that this new neighborhood likes it... we need to hang a poster on our door to let children know they can knock... so that other neighbors don't get bothered...

@Audrey1787 this used to happen to us often and bedtime routine was hell sometimes... now we have clear rules: if any of us is in LO bedroom doing bedtime routine, nothing else should be happening around the door, no sounds, no going up and down the stairs, etc... it was hard at first because LO took like 30 minutes to fall asleep, but with time and consistency he now goes to sleep by himself, sometimes we even go away and close his door and he just goes to sleep. Anyways... there is the occasional bedtime hell around here too, even after all the training LOL... coffee for you ~O)

@Audrey1787 pff... the ibuprofen one is many times the cause of our bedtime messes... I have to go out of his bedroom and there are only 2 outcomes: 1) I leave him, he cries and then he doesn't settle as he would do normally or 2) I take him with me and he gets excited about what is going out of the room and cries when we get back to his room... I hate teething

Trying to rock G right now but my eyes are so heavy..... Not having much luck. Sending some sleepy dust your way!
Nope. Don't remember this.. Good morning ladies! Another day off here. I was hoping to take G to an open play gym but his boogies are still green and he's crazy congested. Running around like a fool but I'd hate for him to get othes sick. Now it's time for coffee.
Fevber at 101 this morning and Giles slept past 7 again (with about 5 nursing sessions between 5 and 7 and lots of moaning). I gave some Tylenol in case he's achey. I anticipate his fever will go up again throughout the day like it did yesterday. He feels like a little furnace! He's usually warm but he's like a little personal heater right now on my lap.
G was supposed to have his first dentist appointment but I canceled because I figured the dentist wouldn't want to stick his hands in a fevery Petri dish.
Sounds like Alex last week. Fever, ear infection, rash (roseola). The moaning is the worst. Good luck!!
Anyone have tips on giving milk in the MOTN? Working through night weaning now and she's thirsty at about 1am. Water works, but should we be doing milk instead?
@Stina2012... my doctor asked to stop giving milk in the MOTN at 10 mo... so yes, I ignored her and we still give him some, but we put half the amount of powder in the bottle so it's mostly water now... I'd like to offer only water in a couple of months from now... I don't really know if it's 'bad' to give milk but I seriously doubt it.

We've been giving G Lactaid for abpout a week and a half. Since then, G's butt has been diaper rash free! <:-P We're also avoiding strawberries, blueberries ans grapes. This is so exciting! Only took us 14 months to figure it all out....
@LadyBlue07 you really might want to get a hotel. I didn't want to stay in our house when we had ours done (every single floor though) and that was before I had Haddock to think about.
Morning, ladies. >:D< to all of the sick babies and ~O) to all of the tired mamas.
I survived my girls' weekend in the cabin in the middle of nowheres. There was enough swearing, drinking and ax throwing to rival any boys' weekend. Sucky part was that the SUV that some of us took up lost its brakes on Saturday afternoon. Some of the group had to stay behind and wait until a garage opened yesterday morning before they made the 4 hour trip home. Because of the delay getting home and an event at work, I've only seen E for a total of 1 hour in the past five days. I really, really miss my baby and can't wait to get home to her tonight.

I left my house 10 minutes early this morning so I could stop at Starbucks for my first PSL of the season. I was SO excited. Then traffic mucked it all up and I didn't have time. So sad for my FWP.

Okay that's enough awake time for me. Good night.
Hello Tuesday!! Sorry so many of you have insomnia and/or teething babies. ~O) for all!

@Kitten80 Aiden has one of those too. I swear he knows the second I lay down for a nap. If I could find his secret device I'd break it. Lol.
@Mom2bois85 That is amazing!!!
I'm working a half day today and I was so excited when I agreed to do it. However, today I have no desire to go at all. Oh well.

For the record, we don't watch tv all day, though.
FFTC I didn't know Pete was a cat until today.
Feel better Giles!! @maryannespier
I think DD is going through a teething spell as well. She is not eating very much and has been really irritable...
Hope your floor is beautiful!
