First off, I'd like to say congratulations to @tiersa_smith who welcome Lyric and Brooklyn last week! Hope you and your beautiful girls are doing well. Also, @KimmieS1756 posted an update on the main board about her handsome boys, Grayson and Bodhi. Sending thoughts and prayers your way and hope you get to bring them home soon!

For the rest of us with inside babies...ARE WE THERE YET? Oh my gosh, I'm so ready to be done and I'm not even as far as most of you ladies.

I love our growing list of outside babies! Congrats, mamas!

We had our growth scan on Friday. Babies are estimated to be 6 and a half pounds each. That's a lot of Baby! It also explains why I am feeling a little (ok- a lot! ) unwieldy lately!

B has in fact moved around, and is no longer breech. Somehow his head is down, but he is also transverse. Soo... not quite the vertex/vertex I was hoping for, but maybe a little better than breech?

I start 2x/week NSTs this week, too! Fun! My bp was high (again) on friday- borderline too high. It's been that way all along, but at home it's been normal. I've been checking it, and it was pretty high yesterday, even at home. If it continues, I will probably call the dr tomorrow. Not sure what they will do at this point!

GTKY: I am way too excited about twin Halloween costumes. H and I met on Halloween, 6 years ago, so I would love to have Halloween babies

On that note- tomorrow begins a totally different 'two week wait' than I've ever experienced. I am still in shock that we are here!

I want to thank all of you ladies for being so awesome during the past months. It has really helped to have this check in, and you ladies to bounce questions and ideas off of!

I had my appt today and both hr were good. I am measuring 45 weeks and I am 4 cm dilated. He said probably this week since I have been having contractions for the last week. They just haven't been consistent. My dr is back, but he is only working part time and i don't think he is delivering yet.

@morrkim‌ ahh! 4cm? So exciting. I had my first check on friday- still closed, but soft. On the one hand it is comforting to know the fall did not cause any real issues. On the other hand, I was kind of hoping *something* would be going on!

Hope all of our mamas with outside babies are doing well! Looking forward to updates. Thinking of my fellow "inside" mamas, too! We're so close!

AFM- I had my final MFM appt last week. Babies are doing great, which is awesome. A was estimated at 6 lbs, and B at 5.5 lbs.

From here on out, I go to L&D weekly for monitoring and a NST. Baby B is still transverse up by my ribs, so my OB is recommending a c-section during week 38 as our safest bet. We can reevaluate if she finally flips, but I'm honestly ok w/ having a section otherwise.

I'm doubting I'll make it to week 38 though. Random contractions have started & I definitely feel like my body is starting to throw in the towel. Insert Jeopardy music...

QOTW: Haven't really thought about it, but I'm sure a lot of princess & fairy costumes will be in our future!

Congrats to everyone! Thinking good thoughts for all the outside babies and their mamas and to the inside babies congrats! We are lucky to have made it this far.

I'm good. Stomach is SO. heavy. We are over 7lbs each with another growth scan on Friday.

My bags are packed and I feel like I'm on call at all times. Drs appts have become a full time job. 2 NSTs 2US and 2 acupuncture appts pee wek NSTs have taken so long the last two weeks. I'm hoping our new plan of US right before will drastically shorten it. Worked on Friday.

Halloween is my favorite holiday so we already have costumes for this and next year. This year (just in case) we have long onesies with glow on the dark skeletons. Then next yr we have jack skelingtons that were given to me (well to the babies) at my shower by my bff's 10yr old daughter. She wants to dress as Sally and take them out next year. Yay!

Feeling pretty pregnant. Having occasional contractions, but nothing even remotely regular. Babies are moving a TON but so far I still don't think A is head down. But who knows. B's head is almost always in exactly the same spot but today I had two spots I thought could be A's head.

I know there is still time for A to get head down but trying to prepare myself for a c-section if need be. I know I should be happy with two more healthy babies, but I really really wanted a vaginal birth. I had such a great experience with DD. I am definitely mourning the possible loss of that experience this time. RIght now the Dr is thinking we should schedule a c-section for 38.5 weeks... so we'll see. I guess we will make that decision this week or next at the very latest. She did say they would check the day of the cs and if anything had changed we would cancel it. So she is willing to work with me... but I still am feeling pretty down about the whole thing. Again, I know I should suck it up and just be happy about two babies, but I know this is my last pregnancy so I am sort of stuck on it...

I could see us doing themed costumes with all three kids (maybe wizard of oz or something) but I guess it will depend on the genders of the two new babies as to what specifically. DD was a lion last year and will be a duck this year, so maybe we'll just stick with animal themes for a bit...

Hope all the outside babies are still doing well, love to see updates and pictures!

At my appointment Thursday, the first thing my doctor (jokingly) asked was, "Why are you still pregnant??" I'm wondering the same! I was measuring 47 weeks and my cervix was "soft as can be" but not yet effacing or dilating. I have an U/S tomorrow and am interested to see what their projected weights are. If nothing happens before my OB appt this Thursday, we'll schedule an induction for sometime next week (next Wednesday will be 38 weeks). I can't wait to finally hold these babies in my arms!

GTKY: We actually have a couple outfits for them already just in case they're here (and home) before Halloween-- a friend gave me Thing 1 and Thing 2 onesies and we have a glow in the dark skeleton onesie as well (tags still on of course!). As for the future... I can't wait to think up coordinating costumes for as long as they'll let me!

Ha, thanks! I was shocked, the week before I was "only" measuring 43. If I keep up that pace this week I should be 51, can you imagine??

@zamboni00 - I'm excited over our list, too! I just realized that we have almost 1/3rd of the N14 Twin babies on the outside now. Congratulations on 6 lbs (although I imagine carrying around 12 lbs of baby isn't the most comfortable). Your Baby B and my Baby B have the whole funky vertex-head down thing in common, but yes that is better than breech. Good luck with your NSTs and I hope your blood pressure stays in check

@morrkim - Sounds like you are at the end, there. But you've made it to 37 weeks and that's amazing! You are a strong mama! (Also I love the peas in a pod and thing 1 and thing 2 ideas!) You are in my thoughts this week!

@MrsC430 - Glad to hear your babies are doing good and congrats on the weights! Those are fantastic! That's good that your A is your bigger baby (or so I've heard) if you are hoping for a vaginal, but I can understand wanting to do whatever is safest. I am with you there!

@erinwithtwins - Congratulations on 7 lb babies! Holy cow! That is amazing and awesome news!

@CPM13 - Glad you are still hanging in there. I'm sorry things aren't certain for a vaginal delivery, but it could still happen! Don't count yourself out. The fact that the babies are still moving quite a bit would have me optimistic :-) Good luck!

@ktibbits1 - Wow! You are a champion here! Measuring 47 weeks! I can't even imagine. I can't remember if your babies are head down or not, but hopefully you will be able to have a safe delivery soon. Good luck at your appointment tomorrow!

AFM: After reading all the updates from MoMs further along than I am, I feel like my post should be accompanied by someone playing the world's smallest violin. I mean, seriously, you ladies ROCK. I am 34 weeks and 3 days and I just feel done. D-O-N-E. I can't walk without pain radiating through my hips, back, and butt. Everything is swollen. My son (baby

has nothing better to do than to torture me by backing his ass up into my ribs like it is the BEST PLACE EVER!

On the positive: Babies are moving a ton (they have been notoriously lazy babies this entire pregnancy, so I am enjoying finally getting to feel them), I haven't had any contractions, I don't have any heartburn/indigestion and, as long as I have unisom, I can sleep with only waking up 3-4 times per night to pee!

My appointment with The Old Bat (my nickname for the insensitive high risk doctor) is on Thursday and will be having a growth scan to see if Willa is measuring too far off from her brother.

Still hoping I can make it at work another week (after this week), but I honestly don't know if I can make it. My coworker has been great and stepping up and offering to do a majority of my tasks that require leaving my desk. I feel bad, but I really appreciate it. We have a high-ranking government official coming in next week and I keep thinking I should be on hand to help out...but how much help am I going to be?

Oh, and AW moments...

We got a glimpse of the babies at our last appointment! They haven't showed their faces in weeks...

And my mom gave me our baby blankets that she made (she didn't know how to quilt so she actually learned just so she could make them!)

@absolutelymaybe‌ Kudos to you (and anyone else) for still working! I had to surrender at 33 weeks - you ladies are troopers. LOL @ Baby B backing his ass up into your ribs. I feel your pain, one my girls hasn't moved from my ribs in weeks. I'll be thinking of you on Thurs & stalking for a scan update!

I agree with the others, @absolutelymaybe‌! I'm impressed that you are still working. I stopped at 34+4, and couldn't have made it another day at my cushy desk job. The job wasn't even the problem! It was getting ready in the morning requiring a nap directly afterward, the fact that driving became super uncomfortable, and the miserable walk to and from the restroom that did me in!

@absolutelymaybe I totally agree with the whole working thing. While I got pulled out and would have kept working if they had let me, not working has felt reeeeaaally good!

I have made it to 35 weeks which I am very happy about. Blood pressure seems to be fluctuating - high at home and sometimes normal when I am at the doctor. I have an appointment tomorrow morning and I'm sure they request another 24 hour urine collection. I am still doing NSTs just once a week and don't have another ultrasound until Halloween. I would love to know how much they weigh now!

My husband and I met the night before Halloween and can't wait to dress these little guys up! Mario and Luigi will be in the mix at some point as we have called them Mario and Luigi from the beginning.

Hi Guys! I look forward to the updates with you guys. To be honest I'm more comfy with you guys and doubt I'll be updating anywhere else. Lyric and Brooklyn are doing great. The doctors are so shocked with then they call them the twins who don't know that they are premature lol. They were born breathing and eating on their own they have increased dosages of milk and have been transferred to their own cribs and regulating their own temperatures.

They asked us to bring in their car seats for inspections and said they should be home in a few days they are just observing their weight. I'm so impressed with my rock star girls

They look so much alike now and doctor says he thinks they are identical but they are taking so long to get the test back to confirm.

I'm excited and waiting to see more updates to you girls. You are doing great, hang in there!

Update. Had my US and my dr marked my belly then went to the hospital for the NST and it only took an hr. Yay! Highly recommend this.

Funny thing happened. My dr has never done the fundal measurement (says it doesn't really apply for twins.) but today after seeing how big I was said she was curious. Measured 59weeks lol. She thought it was hilarious. My torpedo belly is getting ridiculous apparently.

Not long now ladies!!

To be fair I'm 5'10" and larger framed to begin with. But damn!! I guess it explains the uptick in weird looks and comments I've been getting from strangers. I'm pretty sure one took my photo today. The growth spurt in the last 5 weeks has been insane.

As long as we win healthy big babies it's all worth it.

How are you feeling? What's on your mind? Give us an update!

Why is it so hard to move?! I dread getting up but once I do I feel so much better. Until I get exhausted a few minutes later and have to sit down again!

We decided to hire a Day Nanny, as I just can't keep up with DS (lifting, playing on the floor, etc.) or keep up with the house. She and DS adore each other -- it's been such a blessing having her here. DS is also going through a snuggle phase right now so I'm still getting a lot of 1x1 time with him before everything changes...baby intuition is an amazing thing.

So, I went to L&D yesterday but thankfully it was a false alarm. Sunday night I heard a faint pop when shifting positions. I stood up after a minute to see if there was any fluid -- but there was nothing. I had no cramping so I decided to go to sleep. When I woke up on Monday my body was cool but I felt like (TMI!!) my vag was sweating. I had the same feeling when pregnant with DS and it ended up that his amniotic fluid was really low. I was leaking without really leaking and ended up with an emergency CS a couple hours later (I was 40+1). Anyway, I was also cramping and began to wonder what was going on. I called my OB and he said I should head to L&D to see what was going on (if my water did break, I would start being prepped for the CS). Everything turned out fine - thank goodness! They hooked me up for a NST, tested to see if my water broke (negative), did a cervix check (still Fort Knox - not dilated) and did a quick u/s to check fluid for each baby (Baby A had less than Baby B but still above the "normal" amount). The pop could have been one of my joints (though I usually feel joint relief and that didn't happen). Kind of odd but I felt such relief that every thing was okay and we were going home.

I thought of you, @absolutelymaybe, when the nurse was taking my info. She asked if the twins were "natural" and I immediately responded,"yes," as she continued down the list of options. When she was finished (IVF or other fertility methods were also options), I informed her that these babies, as well as DS, are as "natural" as any other baby. They just happened to be conceived via the help of IVF. She was nice about that response (instead of getting snarky back at me) so I let it go and we moved on to other questions. I get that it's a medical terminology thing. But good gracious, can't they use the word "spontaneous" instead?!

I haven't thought about it! So far, I've been kind of anti-matchy about clothing but that could change after they're here.

Happy Hump day ladies, I have my reg OB appt, 36 week U/S and NST today so I will do my weekly update later, but I know how @erinwithtwins‌ feels!!! I feel like a circus freak! We went to a town event with the kids this weekend and I was at a food vendor the two women behind the counter were gawking and snickering a little. One of the women asked when I was due I told her, then asked what I was having I said Boy and a girl... Her response " oh good! That makes sense! You are huge!" I literally died inside

luckily FI always makes me feels better. I am also talk with a larger build.

Hello ladies!!! Eventful day I had all my appts and my Bp was high 187/89 during NST. Looks like Baby A and Baby B will be delivered this evening via C/S Baby A was measuring 6lbs 6oz and Baby B 5lbs 11oz during U/S so we shall see how accurate that is.. I will keep you guys posted!!!

I may be joining you soon. I got to have a bonus OB appointment yesterday because my bp was high. She checked it in the office and sent me to the hospital. I spent 7 hours in triage with my bp being checked every 15 minutes. They finally decided it wasn't awful enough to take the babies, and sent me home for a 24hr urine catch instead. I have 1 hour left!

The good news is the babies looked great on the monitors.

So tomorrow I have an NST and weekly OB appointment, and hopefully we will have some answers!

Hope everyone is having a good day!

I just got done with my doctor (the high risk one that I don't like) and growth scan.

Willa didn't even gain a full pound since her last growth scan 3 weeks ago. She is currently estimated at 4 lb 2 oz.. On the flipside, her brother gained a pound and a half putting him at 6lb 5 oz. (earning him the nickname "Bruiser" from the ultrasound tech). Surprisingly, the doctor seemed okay with it and said it's better to leave the in and let the grow at this point.

Next week I will be having an NST and a biophysical profile and the following week they will add another growth scan to keep watch on them.

The whole "Sooooo when am I going to pop these suckers out?" question is kind of irritating me, though. The high risk doctor keeps spouting of shit about waiting until 39 weeks (to which I'm firmly against) and my regular OB says I won't go past 37. Ugh. Do they have a betting pool going on? WTF? Why can't we get on the same page?

I would like to at least sort of pretend I have plans (that the babies can completely ignore)!
