We are tossing around some names Harper for a girl for sure maybe Harper June,
and for a boy I like Lennox, Lochlan and Cullen alot of great names have been mentioned.
Harper June is on my list too. I also love piper June.
going to have a hard time coming up with a name I like as much as my son's name. My husband loves Elliott but I want something a little more "different". I tend to go for literary names though and that would fit so I am considering it.
My DH hates talking about names. I reluctantly agreed to Kyra (I wanted Kira or Keira) because at least we agreed on a name. We have always had a boys name of Maxwell Roebling (Roebling was my grandfather's middle name) but girls are harder. I would love to name a girl Gloriana after my grandmothers but he hates it.
You should re-visit this debate - Kira is way better Why does he like Kyra so much? IMO it's sort of odd.
For a girl we haven't decided on Adalina Rayne or Adalina June as for a boy we are sticking with my husbands batman addiction and going with Damian Wayne
For a boy we're thinking Camden Scott (husband's middle name).
For a girl we like Sadie Grace.
When I got pregnant with my first, (Kinley Rae) I planned on doing K names for girls and C names for boys. That being said, I am really in love with the name Sadie, so I guess I'll give up on the K names.
My 6 yr olds name is Sadie Rae (Rae after my uncle who passed.) so I love that choice
We have a Harper Kaylin (Harper is gmas maiden name) (Kaylin is after my Aunt Kay who passed away & my MIL Linda who passed away) and we have a Hazel Kathryn (gma's name was Hazel & Kathryn is a family name)
So for a girl I like Holland, Henley, or Hadley.
For a boy I like Reynolds and call him Renn. Reynolds is my other gmas maiden name.
Sonora or Lenora for a girl. Either way, she'd go by Nora
James or Kelyn for a boy.
Sonora is after Sonora Webster Carver, and Kelyn wouldn't really be named after Kelyn Rowe (soccer player), but we discovered the name because of him and both liked it.
Still feeling out people's reactions to both, as they are unusual, but still actual real names. I'm sure it will end up being a game time decision. Certainly open to feedback, btw.
Just for fun, we asked the LO, "What if you had a little sister and her name was Margot?" (Which is a name we both loved.) LO responded, "No. Margot is minions." (From Despicable Me.)
We are set in stone with Lauren Ann and John Jacob (after my grandfather who's birthday is my EDD) but we have 7 more months so who knows....
Reading John Jacob automatically made me start singing "John Jacob jingle heimer Schmidt, his name is my name too. Whenever we go out, the people always shout John Jacob Jingle Heimer Schmidt" anyone else?

We're just starting to play around with names - thankfully, we have lots of time to decide for sure
The only thing we know for certain right now is that, if we have a girl, Sofia will be part of her name to honor my grandmother who passed away in March (she practically raised me, so there's no question we will honor her name if we have a daughter). It's a tradition in my family to name children after passed-on relatives who held a special relationship with you or made a significant impact on your life.
Other girls' names we like are Camila, Etta, and Rosario. For a boy, we like Santiago, Moises, and Efraim. I'm Polish and DH is Mexican, so we're looking for classic, ethnic, or Biblical names that aren't too common/popular right now. My first name is also really odd, and I hated it as a kid (but love it now). So we want our kiddo to have a unique-enough name haha.
Last year when I was pregnant we were sitting in our back yard talking about it and the phoebe birds started calling to each other back and forth in the trees. DH and I looked at each other and, at the exact same time said, "What do you think of Phoebe for a girl?" So if this baby is a girl, Phoebe is absolutely, positively set in stone. Either Phoebe Josephine or Phoebe Elizabeth. (Josephine is a family name on DH's side and my mom's middle name is Jo. Elizabeth is my SIL who I absolutely adore.)
Boys name, not a clue. DH wants Joseph and I have no argument against it but I don't love it either.
I LOVE those birds - I think they're actually chickadees! I think lil' chickadee would be a cute NN for a kiddo, too, especially if those birds were the inspiration for her name
We think we want to find a 'C' name since we already (unintentionally) have the A and B. I have always wanted to use Charles for a boy, DH is on the fence on that. But for a girl we have no clue.

Our DS is named Oslo Lynn so I'm determined to find something that will go together. We always liked Penelope Jane (we could call her Penny!) for a girl but I have a friend who just named her new puppy Madchen (it's German for "maiden") and I think it sounds so pretty! Haven't thought up any boys names yet but we have plenty of time!
The only thing we are set on is using Robert in a boys name if we have a boy. Robert is 2 of DH's grandfathers, my grandfather and uncle and DH's middle name.
He will have an idea stuck in his head and refuses to suggest anything else.
Last time he was stuck on Madeline but said people couldn't call her Maddy and I knew people wouldn't pronounce it how he wanted either. So he finally conceded when other people agreed lol.
We never agreed on a boy name last time and I still feel lucky we got DD's name.
I have always always wanted a grace! I don't know if it would be mn or first or what to go with it but I have been planning on grace for the past 6 years! Who knows 8 month from now it might not be as cute as it has been for the past 6 years!
@carolyngrace , the only family names we kind of like are Frances for dh's grandpa, or audrine for my great grandma. Both our families have bunches of kids so most family names have been used- I'm fine with duplicating middle names, but mostly it just means the pressure is off to name the baby after so and so..
We are set in stone with Lauren Ann and John Jacob (after my grandfather who's birthday is my EDD) but we have 7 more months so who knows....

Yah I know but we are so wanting to honor my grandfather, we are just going to call him John and most people will never know his middle name
Our boy name is Mack, after my beloved grandfather who passed away 6 years ago. DD would have been Mack if she was a boy. We have always said Mack Martin because DH and his dad's middle name is Martin but I don't love it that much anymore. I kind of like Mack Michael or Mack James better (both are still family names as well).
For a girl, no idea. DD is Clara Jane and that took us forever to come up with (we settled on it because both are family names). I like Penelope nickname Nellie but I wanted to do Penelope Pearl and DH doesn't like the "PP" initials, which I think is ridiculous. I have always loved Rowan but DH vetoed. My current fave is Eliza Ella.
Re: Settled on names!
We love our fur babies Luna (2013) and Dozer(2014)!
Girl: Penelope Elizabeth♡
Abigail Elizabeth for a girl - Gail is my mom's middle name and Elizabeth is mine. I love the idea of passing that down.
Now that we know for sure it isn't twins I don't have to find other names since these are my absolute favs.
:x
So for a girl I like Holland, Henley, or Hadley.
For a boy I like Reynolds and call him Renn. Reynolds is my other gmas maiden name.
Boy: Tabor Kade
Girl: Aubrey Shay
James or Kelyn for a boy.
