We have our picked out! Skyler Rae for a girl and Tyler Scott for a boy. I lost my brother 2 years ago this month so we are tossing the idea around of naming a boy after him. If we do it's Kurt Robert
For a boy we are leaning towards Logan Eugene (mn was DH's recently deceased grandfather's name) or Desmond Lloyd ( mn is my grandfather's name.) For girl names we do not have it nearly as nartowed down! Currently I like Liliana, Alice, Claire, Clara, or Marie.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Expecting our first - Alice Irene - 6/5/15
Thinking June Marie (Marie is my grandma's name) for a girl. I never particularly liked the name June, or naming a kid after their birth month, but for some reason I whispered to DH last night "what about June?" out of nowhere. He knew exactly what I was talking about and said "I like it. Kind of perfect."
Boys names are harder for me... Henry for a middle name probably (after my dad & grandpa).
No where near settled but my favorites are Emersyn or Emerson (not sure which way we would spell it) for a girl and Mason for a boy
Wouldn't those two spellings inevitably be pronounced differently? I would say the first one EmerSIN and the second one EmerSON. Not that you can't spell it however you want, and say it however you want, but the general public may be confused if you plan to say it the same either way
Seriously though, we haven't seriously discussed anything. We have thrown around Jonathan (my Dad's name was John, he passed when I was 19 and I like giving my kid his own name and then calling me after my Dad... it may be weird but it works for me) and Cecilia Elizabeth. The girls name is after both of our grandmothers. But I also like Evelynn because it means prayed for in gaelic. So, Little B it is for now.
Girl: Laurel Grace, Layla Grace Boy: Liam Sawyer, Dylan James

@Ladymouse love Benjamin.... but I'm bias that my son's name. Boy names are so hard for us. I love Grant but DH has vetoed it. We both like the names Zoe and Elise for a girl. I love the meaning of both the names.

"Peace is a gift from God, but we prepare ourselves to receive this gift as we pray about everything, cultivate gratitude, and refuse to surrender to worry." - Nancy Guthrie
I can't even think about this until I my first appt and get some confirmation everything is going ok. I made a deal with H that if he joined me on my 9 months of prohibition that he could pick the name. I hope he doesn't last
No where near settled but my favorites are Emersyn or Emerson (not sure which way we would spell it) for a girl and Mason for a boy
We are barely TTC, but Emerson has been my top pick for a girl for a long time now! We had the same debate of how to spell it. I guess we'll seen when that time comes! Mason is sweet for a boy. Either way, you've got good names!
Connor Everett or Quinn Michal for a boy. Everett after DH amazing grandfather or Michal after best friend from Europe for DH. Girl no idea. I mean nothing. Our other girls are Eden Marie and Elara Jane so we kind of like the idea of another E name but nothing seems right and we've looked at a lot of E names... any good girl E names? I like a lot DH is picky which is ok with me because I'm glad he takes it seriously. I like Evyn, Eliana, Elayne, Erika... He thinks Evyn is only for boys though... No idea what we would do for a middle name for the poor girl... I know it will be a girl since we don't have a name. Haha DS is Kael David. Everything is short and sweet with no nicknames.
I LOVE Evyn. It's my nieces name, but she spells it Evanne. I think he different spelling makes it obvious its a girl. I also like Eliza/Elyza, Emme, Esme, and Evie. And Grace is a great middle name for all! Good luck. My husband and I don't agree on names easily, we have about 5 girl names and 0 boy names we agree on. And we aren't finding out the gender so we have to pick two names!
Both middle names are family names. It took a lot of debate to pick a first name for a boy but we picked the girl name almost as soon as we started TTC.
First comes love = November 2012 Then comes marriage = July 19th, 2014 Then comes baby = May 19th 2015 Praying for #2 ~6 week loss in January 2016 ~7 week loss in April 2016
We've been discussing names but haven't really settled for anything yet. My DH said he like the name Liam......... & I was like, NO! That is the most popular name right now, we can't do that! I've mentioned June for a girl because its so cute, especially if she is delivered in June and it would go with our other daughters name that starts with a J. My brother mentioned the name Holden Cash.......... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA (Cash for Johnny Cash). But I don't believe I will put my child through that humiliation. I am in love with the name JAXON but dh and I both have cousins who named their little boys jaxon and jackson. So sadly that is out of the running for us. I like Jasper for a boy, but dh doesn't. I also love JAMES and wish I could have it in a boys name, even if its the middle name for my father and grandfather. I like Jase, but dh said it rhythms to much like Chase (my brothers name). So no, we have no names yet. lol And after writing this I can tell that I love J names apparently. So If anybody wants to throw some more J names at me that would be awesome!
So many great names on here. We won't even start the discussion until we know sex. There is so much less to fight about that way. But I love talking about names!
@8411mommy -- what about Jacob, Jeremiah, Jude, Jeremy, or Jarvis for boys? or Jill, Jillian, Julia, Juniper, or Jessica for girls?
I LOVE the name Gwendolyn! We havent decided anything; Clara or Celeste are def top contenders though. Team Green, so this will be a continuous battle til the ens haha. No idea for boy names!!
