OMG I HATE BEING CALLED Ma'am. Just use Miss please.
+1, ma'am makes me feel old
Me too. Hate it.
One time I got in a fight with a literal cowboy, complete with hat, on a plane for calling me "honey", at 6am.
As in, "Can you hurry up, honey?"
I am not your honey and you will wait until I get my damn carry-on in the overhead compartment to pass, dickhead!
I got all Brooklyn on him. His face was priceless.
My UO: doctors offices should be first come first served. Appointments are clearly just a way to toy with people's patience. I'd rather form a line and sign in and be seen in that order.
....as I sit in the orthopedic office for 40 minutes....
The Duggars reminded me of a UO. The idea of a man being virgin is a turn off for me. Nope nope nope nope nope (for me).
Like at a certain age or when you get married? I mean I think this guy is like 19, so I don't think it's that bad that he's a virgin and if that's what his beliefs are than that's his deal
A 40 year old virgin, well yeah, that's a little concerning

About me 2007: Started TTC. 2008: OB prescribed clomid, went to RE and was Dx with PCOS. 2009: IUI #1 w/follitsim and trigger = BFP. B/G Twins born at 33 weeks. 2012: TTC #3, Round 2 of Letrozole w/TI = BFP, missed m/c at 8 1/2 wks. Currently on the bench as we make plans for a new home. Anxious to start TTC #3 within the next year!
I don't get the love for Peanuts or Charlie Brown.
I realized this while watching The Great Pumpkin last night.
+1 but:
It came on after Toy Story of Terror, which my kids love. I was about to change it bc nobody wanted to watch it, however, the baby was screaming at the moment, like inconsolable screaming. I turned her around to sit her upright (she'd been laying on me) & as soon as she focused on the TV, she stopped screaming like in a trance focused on it.
Not sure why it came out sideways but here she is watching it
Holy fuck, someone on Facebook just shared an article titled "What Christians Should Know About the Ebola Crisis." I automatically think anyone that shares or likes this has a barely functioning brain. UO or just bitchy?
I would make the same assumption.
My questions are what does Ebola have to do with being Christian? Like what difference does it make?
Well, if you're a good christian obviously God will spare you from outbreak. I mean if you pray hard enough and stuff.
<----not a good christian

It's really freaky when your going through a haunted house and your friend tells an employee your name that is then whispered and screamed by almost all of the employees the entire way through the haunted house.
I have done this numerous times to my own children. Does that make me an asshole? LMK
I fucking hate Charlie Brown. He can go sit on the bench of hell with Julia Styles.
Was she the inventor of resting bitch face?

I guess my UO is that I like Mariah Carey's awful Christmas songs.
TTC since August 2011, Me = 40, DH = 38 Unexplained IF. Tried Clomid for 3 cycles. All BFNs. BFP 1/6/13. Chemical pregnancy.

I'm not happy that anyone else has ebola or was potentially exposed, but I was thoroughly amused at the level of dipshittery I encountered yesterday as the news broke while I was at the downtown Cleveland Clinic.
I see nothing wrong with saying the Pledge of Allegiance, or learning the National Anthem for that matter. If they want to silently abstain, that's their decision.
But I do hope that kids understand the freedoms that they have as an American and how that compares with other countries so they are appreciated. And I hope they also have good examples of veterans that have helped to protect those freedoms. Of course, I want them to learn about what this country has done wrong too and not just stick to the glossed over history books we had in grade school - but I also want my kids to realize the sacrifice that the average person had to make in times like WWII.

Wait, you love the Hippopotamus song, but not the Muppets? I feel like there's a progression that should be followed here. That's like saying you love Sponge Bob, but think the Smurfs are ridiculous.
I love America and The Muppets and this just sums up my feelings

Pledge is unnecessary. If America is such a free country, its people should not be compelled to publicly declare their allegiance to it.
Who is compelling you? Are you punished for not doing it? Are you taxed differently? Are you put in a different category for it?
You can feel it is unncessary that's cool. No one is compelling you though. Maybe you need to look that word up. Also because this country is free you are able to post your opinion on a public message board without any fear of how unnecessary you think it is.
Yeah, I agree america is free. That's the point of why we don't need a "pledge". Why do we even have it? Again, if you don't do it...then what? Nothing right? So it's unnecessary. If you want to declare your america love all day every day, you can do that without any sort of pledge.

I walk out after 30 minutes. My time matters as well. And don't even bill me for the missed appointment.
My exception are doctors who deal with emergencies during appointments like an ob/gyn.

I have taken four virginities. You're welcome ladies. #doingmypart
Gotcha. I guess I don't have a preference. Is that a UO? Maybe more of a confesh.
Actually, the best sex I ever had was with a dude who had a slightly smaller than average penis.
