Showing off my mad skillz to dh today. Earlier I had 3 kids napping all at the same time. Now, here it is a few minutes after 11 and I have both of the little people asleep. One in his own bed but because dh is sick, dd can just sleep with me. She's cute. And funny. For the 3 weeks dh was on vacation, there were more nights that he stayed up until 3am with dd. Take that , dh!!! I kinda kick ass!!! Now if I could only keep the smallest one asleep for more than 3ish hours I would consider myself master of the universe.

For now, I am hopefully going to sleep. Frozen, get off of my tv.

Squirmy little gremlin has been latching and unlatching for what feels like hours...I'm so tired and out of it that it took my husband waking up to figure out that he was just pissed cuz he had a wet diaper. Never gonna get that sleep back.

Night sweats are so bad that it's 62 degrees in my house and considering turning the AC on...

just attempted dream feedinf again.. which worked great.... until I had to change her diaper... not sure how to make that work because unbuttoning the swaddle and her pjs and then exposing her DEFINITELY woke her up in an unpleasant way.

What a weird freaking day. I believe LO has a blocked tear duct. He also slept a ton this (yesterday) morning and afternoon. So I was convinced something was wrong. Then the witching hour(s) hit at 430pm. He ate almost non stop until 815. DH finally got him to sleep at 915. He didn't wake up until 345am! I should be celebrating, but I'm back to worrying that something is wrong.

I was in the middle of a great 3 hour stretch of sleep only to be woken up by my great dane puking on the bedroom carpet. Fml. I was even having a great dream about my pre preg clothes fitting. Sigh.

Tonight is taking forever. Bed at 11, up at 1:30. Change, feed and get pissed when I see it's only one freaking thirty. Get him back in bed. Go back to sleep. I call BS on the others but the hairdryer knocks my LO out. The problem is when I turn it off he wakes up pretty soon after!

I nearly punched DH in the fucking throat last night. After staying up with DD and trying to get her to sleep longer than 20 minutes, it was DH's turn. I woke his ass up at 2 when she started crying and he had the audacity to tell me that he can only do this for one or 2 more nights...he's too tired and he can't wake up at 2 when he has to work all day. Excuse me? I'm back to work now too, buddy. And instead of trying to get her to sleep in the crib, he takes her downstairs and sleeps with her on the couch. So he gets to sleep for pretty much the whole night while my ass only gets 3.5-4 hours since he gets up for work between 5:30 and 6.

Then I have to try to get ready with a baby that refuses to be put down without crying. Yeah. No. I swear if he complains one more time, he's going to regret it. He's got a tired, cranky, frustrated ginger to contend with.

Last night was horrific. LO was 6 weeks sunday and by far our worst night last night. I think it was pod-baby cause he has never ever been this upset. We were up from 10-3 and he liked being held in different positions for like 10 mins tops each time. He's never ever done that. His gas must have been so bad.

Today wasn't much better. But he was up the most he's ever been so crossing my fingers he has a better night! Sleep my precious boy sleeeep.

I can't stop crying. LO was spitting out her paci, and in my rush to grab it in the dark I misjudged the distance and whacked my fingers against her head. Hard. My fingernail cut her eyebrow and she just screamed and screamed.

I feel like a total POS. I cut my tiny baby. It took forever to calm her and she wouldn't nurse. I think she's scared of me. I feel awful. She has no idea it was an accident and thinks I hurt her on purpose.

she's just got herself all worked up and it's taking her a little while to get settled. She's not scared though. She knows you love her. She's known you longer than anyone. If there's anyone she knows she can count on, it's you! She loves you girl!!

LO just ate and is working on going back to sleep. I'm hoping she doesn't spit up because she inhaled 4oz. Hopefully she falls asleep and stays asleep quickly because I'm ready to go bed. I caught a second wind around 10pm and have been cleaning like a mad woman. I feel so much better. Hopefully now that the house is a little more under control it won't be so hard to keep up on the essentials like dishes and laundry.

@biokitty42‌ - awe I'd feel bad too, but it was an accident. She knows you love her and would never hurt her in purpose.

I didn't get to enjoy LO's 4 hour sleep since I decided an hour in I needed a shower. Then I woke up at hour 3 with an upset tummy. Just nursed 30 mins, hoping she falls asleep soon.

Also, gripe water is a freaking hiccup miracle worker!

Lo woke up screaming at 2. Couldn't figure out why. Then I saw the gash he gave himself near his eye. Mommy fail for not cutting his nails tonight.....I was just too tired and didn't trust myself.....guess I should have done it.

LO now fed and sleeping. Full of gas...poor thing. Big guy sleeping in his crib....hopefully through the night. I've bribed him with a surprise. Yes I did and have no shame.

Want to punch DH....he's away for work. Been gone since Monday. Will be home either tomorrow night or Thurs. He called tonight at midnight to tell me he can't sleep. Can get comfortable.......really??? No crying baby, no MOTN feeds/diaper changes, no screaming baby with gas pain.....wait, let me get my violin out to play your whoa is me tune.....suck it up buttercup,,..you know what I would do for a night of uninterrupted sleep in a hotel?

someone needs to invent a better breast pump. Maybe one where you can sleep while doing it, or even recline. Also, I was wartching Reba and the girl on there had to pump... how is it that breast pumps are THE SAME OLD SHIT 10+ years later!? UGHHH

Omg I swear I have to lean forward or it doesn't drain into the bottles and puddles in the flanges. So annoying. Keeps me from pumping unless I have to. Seriously with all of the technology we have now, there has to be something that could be designed better.

Eta I feel for all of you mommas that have to ep. I couldn't do it, you all are freaking amazing!!!

Tonight has sucked. She was mostly awake from 7:30 to 1:30. I hate the nights she won't fall asleep. DD1 was up twice screaming and in bed with us by 1:45.

I roll over to wake h for his turn to feed her (he does one 'night' one normally at 6) and I get a "I'm so tired, I haven't slept because she's been grunting the past two hours" no shit Sherlock. Who do you think was sshhing her and keeping the paci in. Just go back to bed mr grumpypants
