I think I'm done crawling back to bed when LO is in her crib. I get super comfy for oh maybe 3 mins and then I don't want to get up. If I could just stay up maybe that would be easier. Upside? Hey Arnold reruns from the 90s on TV.
I had thought DH had put away the BM that I pumped earlier tonight. I just found it sitting on the changing table... Trying my damnedest not to cry. Its half my fault for forgetting... What a waste.
LO did sleep for almost 3.5 hours!
Ugh! I feel your pain, that happened to me the other day...
My LO had been sleeping all day too so hopefully that means he was just practicing for tonight right??
After cluster feeding from 3pm-9pm, lo slept almost 5 hours. I woke up to pee and was so confused. I'm not used to waking up on my own! I thought I was still pregnant and the past 3 weeks was a dream.
Now I'm feeding. Am I pushing my luck hoping it's a quick refill and back to sleep?!
Discovered that LO crankiness today was due to dairy issues. He slept until 2, ate, took forever to poop, ate again and is now wide awake in my arms. And I think he may poop again. Lovely.
Finally! My September Siggy Challenge: TV Show I'll Be Binge Watching
Just after midnight and someone has been eating every 30-45 minutes all freaking day. The back hurts, the shoulders ache and the boobs. Oh, poor boobs. Here's to hoping that he settles down for bed and we get our usual 3-4 hours sleep. Until then dh and I are watching AHS while I hopefully bf for the final time before bed.
Rocking LO up sleep at the moment, here's to hoping after I swaddle him, he stays asleep (that is usually how I tell if he's tired or still hungry). Also, I was so hungry when I got up, that I made a turkey sandwich with Doritos. :P
I was totally freaking out today. DH came home and told me to sleep since he was staying up to watch hockey. If it were Tuesday, he would deserve the taco pack from Taco Bell. I have had 6 hours of sleep and I feel like a new woman. Of course my boobs are pissed. I need to pump after this feeding.

how long has it been out? it can be good up to 6or so hours at room temp!
tonight hasn't been too bad *knock on wood* but I've let a comment sil made about iugr and "non-natural" birth get to me and it's madr me have a hard time falling asleep. bit good for you SIL for you "just making small babies" and your doc misdiagnosing you... just remember not all iugr dx are bull.
M didnt poop all night which day nurse didnt even know until she then didnt poop all day. I told nurse after she had gone 6-7 hrs w/o a poop that it was super abnormal for M. She is a gassy/poopy baby. I went to eat, came back and then she told me (at 7pm) that she had just looked at notes and no poops the night before either (almost 24 hrs???). Ugh... This is why mommies are necessary. No one cares about her poop more than I do. She then proceeded to have an epic explosion after the suppository. Good news is she waited til daddy was there and he handled it like a pro. She was so calm and happy afterward. Poor baby. </p>
ugh the dreaded poop watch! but boy do those suppositories work! lol
Little miss finally went to sleep at 1...after 3 separate screamfests. We've been up for 40 minutes...here's hoping the next stretch is longer than 2.5 hours

DS just pissed all over himself and the bed while sleeping. Damn cheap diapers I was gifted. We both ended up crying. Hoping he falls back to sleep after this feed on his clean sheets

Shit like this has basically just made me decide that I hate people. Sometimes it's like they don't even think before they start talking. I'm sorry it kept you up though! in the hospital MIL talked about how well I was getting around for someone that got stitches. "They sewed my vagina back together you whore!" But I just cried instead. And I'm obviously not letting it go.

It had been out 3ish hours... Its in the fridge now, where I can reevaluate timeframe when I'm more awake.
I decided to it was time to transition LO from the bassinet next to my bed to his crib in the nursery since I've gotta go back to work on the 20th & he's six weeks old. This is night 2 of the transition. My 5-6 hour stretches of sleep have been reduced to 3-3.5 hours. I'm trying to remind myself whyyyy he can't stay in the bassinet forever. He wasn't even crying this time, I was woke up by his super loud hiccups & he was just hanging out wide awake. Or maybe the timing is just a coincidence & the wake ups are due to 6 week growth spurt? Hell if I know, but I want my sleeping baby back!
On to night two featuring the baby who doesn't want to sleep. Thank goodness I was able to sleep from 9-1230ish while DH did LO duty so I can sort of survive this MOTN craziness. Please let him not have a long stretch of seven hours like he did last night, though DH said he didn't sleep for him so I could luck out.

DS woke up after 2 hours of me not sleeping then sleeping with nightmares. He ate for like 5 minutes, passed out, slept through a diaper change...so here I am pumping and bumping in the dark.
That sounded dirty.

Gage Douglas 09.04.2014...my sunshine after the rain.
I feel like an ass posting this when people are having rough nights, but LO slept 6.5 hours! That has never happened, and I was not expecting it because last night sucked.
I think it's because my parents are visiting and she heard my mom say she would help in the MOTN. "Oh, you have help? Watch as I sleep like an angel." I'm sure she'll return to her regularly scheduled programming when my mom is gone.

It should totally be fine sitting out that long. I routinely leave milk at room temp for 3 or 4 hours then warm and give to LO. I have transitioned more from EP to EBF so will sometimes leave milk at room temp then decide to breastfeed and will put in fridge and will feed later on in the day. Here is info from kellymom.com on milk storage and handling. https://www.kellymom.com/store/freehandouts/milkstorage01.pdf

same, I'll pump after she eats and then leave her next bottle out. so it sits for about 2.5 hours
Props to all you girls getting LOs to nurseries!! Come to my house and make me do it!! OMG y'all are going to die! I still have DD1 in my freaking room! I've inadvertently become some weird ass parent!!
Had to wake the boy up to eat and change him. He immediately pooped after I got him redressed and started trying to feed him. Thanks, man. He was being crazy picky and not wanting to eat on the right so I changed him again and let him have what he wanted with the left side.
Really, I am so happy that he didn't wake me up every hour like he did all day. I'm also happy dd2 stayed in her bed most of the night and that she is doing pretty well potty training! It was my goal while dh was home for 3 weeks and it got pushed back to the final few days before he goes back to work. Oops. She's doing really well and I've decided she was just lazy if she was in a diaper. It's obviously way easier to just shit your pants than going into the bathroom....
LO slept until 530. DH woke and gave him a bottle. LO proceeded to be okay, but then at 6:30 showed hunger cues. DH fed him again (is it bad that I took secret pleasure in hearing his frustration with lo's cries?) and out him down. Then LO woke up at 7:30 to eat again. I really hope this isn't his pattern for the day, because I have errands I need to do. at least I'm not exhausted?

Not motn yet here but probably will be by the time we get home. We woke little Miles to change his diaper about 8 tonight and dh saw bloody discharge coming from his belly button. When I had him dab to look at it closer, it looked to have pus and is swollen so off to the ER we went.
Poor little guy seems fine but hasn't eaten as well today and has been extra sleepy all afternoon when he has been awake more recently.

Hope everything is OK @Mom2four97355
Doing first feeding. We had a very clingy day, I hope it's not a clingy night.
