I do, I do! I woke up at 3:30 to pee and I'm still awake. DH wakes up at 5 for work and I'm laying here thinking about all the stuff I have to do today- make pumpkin pie, make green been casserole, have breakfast with MIL and her mom, tidy the house before our friends drop off a load of baby stuff, get groceries, etc. I feel like maybe I should just get up and start on it all now.
In reality, I'm probably one of the few people that's close enough to @minibean16 that I could come over and watch infomercials
I've been bursting with excitement because DH got a really great job this week! Not only is it close to home, has some flexibility in work hours and some benefits, but he met with the owner for almost 3hrs and they've already discussed opportunities for advancement.
DH was open to taking anything at this point because he has been only getting part time hours since March and they discussed lay-off with him this week. The fact that he will have a job that he can really be excited about is beyond expectations.
I ugly cried when he texted me, which I haven't told him. I don't think even I had acknowledged how stressed I was feeling about the situation. *happy dance*

Yay! Congrats to you and your DH that must be such a relief.
Well, I've had a whopping 2 hours of sleep. And that's cumulative for the night - a 20 minute catnap on the couch plus a little over 90 minutes in bed. Then lovely heartburn/reflux forced me back to the couch. Tried the bed again 2 hours later, but heartburn/reflux and a couple good strength contractions has me back up.
So I'll just Bump for a while and eat some ice cream. Ice cream is medicinal, right?

Add me to the rough night group. I woke up around 1 and baby was having a dance party so I couldn't fall back to sleep. Then I finally did, but DS woke up at 3 and was ready for it to be morning. He fell back asleep, but it took me awhile. Now up for work! Ehh, at least DH and I have date night tonight!
Also, anyone else think the 33 weeks thread is a test...I took one look and I just can't
My mom took my four-year-old nephew out for lunch one day. She asked him why he wouldn't finish his chicken nuggets, and he told her he didn't want to get a "big ole belly" like me. Sigh.
In it, we had just returned home from the hospital with our baby. We both fell asleep and woke up hours later to realize we hadn't fed the baby yet!! My husband started screaming , "we have to feed her every two hours!" So, I reached down to pick her up and it was my dog, Lex. She was our baby in my dream, and I started breast feeding her!
I woke up and started immediately laughing. WTF! Why do we have crazy dreams during pregnancy?
add me to shitty sleep list- i came down to the couch about 530 and slept soundly in the recliner section for another few hours. why haven't i thought of this before??? looks like the couch will be my bed for the next few weeks.

@ClrkKntismyAE That sucks so much. Hopefully this baby will stay in a little bit longer so you don't have to keep them apart. I can't imagine that because I'm really hoping DS can be the first one to meet new baby and really start to bond.
I just can't with that 33 weeks thread. There's a difference between being nicer to the newbies when they have a legit question and dealing with stupidity.
@JustJainey - Congrats to you and your husband on his job! So exciting!
@KUinCBUS - I might classify laying on the couch as an indulgence :P
@heisenberg - I'm the same way lately! I cannot get enough water. It's making me debate just setting up my office in the bathroom to save myself the walk!
@ClrkKntismyAE - Awwe I hope your daughter feels better soon.
RE the 33 week thread - I think I semi failed at being nice. But come on, that was just all sorts of weird, right???
It's weird for me to be bumping on the weekend but we're going Physical Inventory at work so I had to come in on Saturday. Boo! I'm seeing all these people on Facebook cheering for a 3 day weekend because they have Monday off and all I can think is, WHAT THE HELL? I don't have Monday off AND I have to work on Saturday. Oh well. Hope everyone has a nice weekend!
I've been waking up between 1:30 and 3 all week, and usually can't fall back asleep til about 5. DS is always up at 7:30, and has now decided he only needs a 1 hour nap in the afternoon instead of 3 hours. I'm exhausted:(
I may or may not have given DS a pot to play with on the kitchen tile this morning in hopes of waking up DH so he can deal with this kid, who is having meltdown after meltdown. I just wanna go back to bed!
Ugh, all the babies coming early are stressing me out! I was content to convince myself I'd probably be at least a week or two late since my mom had my brother a week late and then me two weeks late. Plus, no signs of baby dropping and no other issues or signs have cropped up. But we are 36 weeks and even DH is saying you know baby could come early... LO, for the record, your mommy is requesting you arrive no earlier than 10/31!
Baby girl got her first nickname last night. I was texting DH and the perfection happened. She is our little Mighty Mouse. She is doing way better than what people had expected and is making her own rules.

We have company dropping by any minute and I just farted. It smells so bad and I can't even blame DH because he's not here!
DH's nanny said she thinks the baby will be 10 pounds or so. I'm measuring right on track and have gained the recommended amount of weight. Also I was only 6 pounds at birth at DH was 8. It was really hard not to throat punch an 86 year old woman.
@KUinCBUS ((hugs)) I did this about a month ago. DH and I had a nice day planned and I woke up all pissy and totally ruined it. I felt so badly and it ended in tears. Hopefully your DH understands. I'm not blaming pregnancy hormones because I think that's crap, but you have a lot to deal with on top of your body doing nutty things so I think you should get some slack.
@KUinCBUS Go to the festivals! Catch up with him! I think that would be a really nice way to surprise him. When you find him give him a big hug and a kiss and don't even mention how you were feeling earlier.
Ok feel free to flame away
I was real nice and helpful on the mucus plug thread.
Maybe because I finished unpacking and washing all LO's stuff and felt a sense of accomplishment.
Oh and I just finished a big bowl of custard. So I blame it on being "under the influence"
Also. All the births... Eish :-O X_X
I can't help but make the connection between mucus and custard here...sorry I'm 12 years old today apparently

@icecreamtemptresses - I got up, I ate ice cream - it was fantastic.
