  • So little one Woke up at 6:00 a.m and ate, then back to sleep until 8:00 a.m, Up until 10:00 a.m, then down again until 1:00 pm, then up until 3:00 pm, short nap like 30 minutes, then up again until 5:00. So he fell asleep at 5:00 and sleep until 8. Then was up every other hour all night. This is the third day in a row of this. I don't know what to do. I don't want to keep him up at the 5 nap because he'll just scream....but I wish he'd hold off until 7ish like he had been.what do I do?

  • LO has been sleeping from 10-5 for the past two weeks. Last night she went down at 9:30. At about 12 she started talking in her bassinet. I was awake but stayed in bed to see if she would put herself back to sleep. I figured there was no need to rush because she wasn't upset. She babbled on and off for about 10 minutes and it was super cute. DH finally woke up and shoved me in the back and was like what are you doing she is crying... get her. I didn't respond because I was pretty sure I would kill him. Instead I listened as LO continued to babble all sweet like and then she fell back asleep.

She woke up at 6:30 and DH was up getting ready. I told him he owed me an apology for last night. His response " no I don't. You let her scream for 30 mins. You needed to get up and help her."

I didn't say anything because 6:30 is way too early to start ww3. Plus I am still trying to process the stupid that came out of his mouth.

Ugh....I agree with you ladies... why do they think they know better when they spend a fraction of the time we do with them?

And if it was such a big deal to him and he wasoso upset by it why didn't he get up? He processed it as crying but allowed her to continue what he thought was crying? Yeah....no.

You're a better woman that I am. Pretty sure my DH would be trying to retrieve his balls from up inside his body if he said that.

  • Of course she sleeps from 9 to 5 when it's DH's night. His first night of practice. She had trouble falling asleep, so we ended up giving her an extra ounce at bedtime.

    Of course.

  • DS is still waking up 3-4 times a night. Last night he was up at 12, ate and went back to sleep. After that he was up at 1, 2:30, 4:30 and 6:30. The weird thing is that he doesn't want to really eat in the MOTN. I try to nurse him each time he gets up and he will only stay on for a minute or so and then he's back to sleep. He ate at 12 and at 6:30. Why can't you just stay asleep LO if you aren't going to want to eat when you wake up!?
