I am sure that title will make some people's eys bleed.
Speaking of bleeding...
DH is going out of town for business, I think I am starting my period and I will have to wrangle both kids by myself for two days. Plus no booze. Pray for me.
In elementary school I was on a team for the local Drug Quiz Show. They had a competition to see who could answer the most questions about drugs correctly. Kind of like Drug Jeopardy. I don't remember if we won or not.
I have less than zero idea WTAF happened here yestersday. Today I'm packing up & heading out with 4 kids by myself (DH working) to go camping for the next 2 days, so I hope by the time I get back to reality everythings cool again (if I survive this trip!!)
Anyways, wanna wish @guiltypleasures a very happy birthday!! & also @fancynewbeesly wanted you to know Reese is in my prayers always & especially right now. Hope y'all are home soon!
When I was in high school I used to hangout in the student council office because I was an officer and sniff markers. Eventually my friends hid them on me. Total funsuckers.
My little brother sniffed white out in middle school and ended up a drug addict.
Office supplies are a gateway drug. For real.
We used to huff rubber cement. I am not sure how I am still intact and a somewhat productive member of society with all my poor decision making as a youngster.
I remember finding out my older sister & brother were smoking pot & crying myself to sleep bc only bad people did drugs & they were going to go to hell lol
Omg why in the fuck does my dog insist on banging on the door and barking incessantly like someone is beating him as soon as he walks up to the front door???? Dude. You've been standing there waitong to come in for all of 30 seconds.
It seemed like we had officer friendly when we were younger and DARE started more towards junior high.
On a related note, I was so excited to have drinks last night that I failed to notice the big "do not drink alcohol while on this medication" sticker on my metformin prescription. I got home and threw up $5 worth of riesling.
McDonald's soda machine must have been off this morning, my Coca-Cola doesn't taste right. Someone had me a kleenex to cry in please.
*Siggy Warning*

i really hate it when mine does that too, every morning. I'm like mid-blow dry with my hair and he's out there acting like a rapid skunk is going to have its way with him. STFU dog, gimme 5 minutes
My dog's issue i think, is just fear of missing out on something. He doesn't enjoy being outside like a normal dog would. I don't know what his issue is. God forbid hes outside for 2 minutes when everyone else is in the house. If I stop short his nose would be up my ass crack.
I love him to death, but as he gets older, he's getting more and more high maintenance. He seems to think my entire schedule revolves around him.
Good morning! My grumpy children are systematically destroying the house today. So far they have found hidden cords to pull on, opened their sippy cups and created a slip and slide in the living room, pulled a trash bag out of the can with the lid still on, and thrown a couple of hissy fits. Fun times.
I love how creative toddlers are with their destruction. How did they Macguyver a slip and slide?
At what age do kids learn "I'm not talking to you" is not punishment? I'm not looking forward to DS figuring that out.
DH still uses that on me and he's 36. I think he hopes that maybe I'll follow suit and give him the silent treatment - but he's not that lucky, I prefer to use my words as punishment.

I'm watching a friend's 3 year old and 7 month old. She told me they were very easygoing kids. So far, in the last 3 hours, the 7 month old hasn't stopped crying and the 3 year old has peed her pants 3 times. I think she lied.
And, no preschool today for my oldest, which somehow slipped my mind when I told her I would watch her DD's. 5u5. I'm going to need a tequila IV come 5 o'clock.
That sounds like my worst nightmare. I hope 5pm arrives quickly.
DS has been showing in interest in potty training but we definitely aren't ready yet. So he pooped in his diaper, and I went to flush it. I plop it in, and DS yells "bye bye poops! love ya poops! love ya poops!"
ohhhh kids.
DS1 loves to inspect his poop because I made the mistake of once saying "Oh my, that is a lot of doody!" Now part of his routine is to look at it, say "That is a lot of poopy!", and then say "Bye bye doody" as he flushes it.
DD just got her second flu shot. DD was mad at me before hand, because shots hurt and he didn't want her to hurt. When I set her down on the ground to play while I checked in, he grabbed her by the feet and tried to drag her out the door to rescue her.
Also, we are in need of a babysitter for the 23rd. Can't be any daycare teachers because they have fall festival that night. We haven't ever used a regular babysitter. What do I do?
Go on care.com or sittercity? Ask other parents at daycare who they use?
Re: Wednesday Randomest Randoms
All the cool kids are doing it.
DARE taught me about drugs and how to use them. The whole "Drugs are bad" thing got lost on me.
ruh roh. Bad casting choice.
I was kind of lame in high school.... But it got me out of class!

Because we need @mcbenny to make another post about order on the board.
My dewrinkle cycle gets a lot of use.

(I'm trying to be cheery even though I don't feel that way.)
My "favorite" professor is back this week. He's made contact for a bullshit request that I don't feel like dealing with.
And I hate the shirt I'm wearing.
My son is an anti-vaxxer.
The world felt so small.
I guess the Nashua branch of Dunder Mifflin made it through the down-sizing just fine.
I'm having a bad morning!!!!

Yes.
