Don't worry about it. Everything is still very new. There will be plenty more mistakes, but that's how we learn. Point is you got your LO fed and you did all you could. Sometimes we just can't do it all. Hugs honey!

Anyways, I've been watching Hardcore Pawn all day. Wtf?! I hate this show, but I feel an addiction coming on.

@jensavicci - i was reading an article in the wee hours of the morning on 6abc.com that said (among other "interesting" things), that beating someone half to death because of their sexual orientation is NOT considered a hate crime in the state of PA.
they also said that people had put the law to the state legislature, but that it never passed (several times) for one reason or another.
it's disgusting. it's a clear example of how we as voters think something is done once we vote to make it law, and that our law makers fall down over and over again and never get it done...but we're not informed, so we're not aware (i include myself in this).
it is also a clear example of how our country's congress should stop spending time on inane things like what's happening in the NFL and steroids in baseball and actually enact federal law on things like this. this is one thing that should NOT be left to 50 different states to decide. period.
for those of you who haven't heard, a gay couple was walking in Philly and a mob of seemingly normal people (who were leaving a restaurant dinner) beat them half to death. they were caught because someone posted the video on twitter and he had thousands of follwers who then went to their networks. a picture surfaced of the people in the surveillance video, and someone recognized the restaurant that they were at. the guy then searched who checked in to that restaurant that night, and matched FB profile pictures to the people in the video. they've all been pulled in for questioning, and one has already been fired from his coaching job for it.
goes to show you that FB is not private...ever...good thing in this case.
sorry for the book - i'm just horrified that this still happens, and that they can't fully prosecute these people for the actual crime that they committed (other than assault). it'll be interesting to see what happens from here.

that's absolutely incredible. it kind of makes me want to get a twitter account. it also makes me wonder if i know any of those people <shudder> since i spend my teen years in BC. i didn't go to catholic school though...and i'm not sure how old these people are.
and it IS neat that we live close!

Which fucking sucks! Wouldn't you think that the fact that I'm a human being grants me the right to not have my ass beaten? And if my ass were to be beaten, don't I have the right to be defended by the legal system? Guess not. I guess my being gay makes me only 1/4 human -_-
My cousin's best friend was violently beaten on locust St. (center city) a couple of months ago. It was captured on video and put online as well. What pissed me off is that on the actual video, ppl were laughing and encouraging the beating. And this was mobs of ppl too, not just 2 or 3. What's even more upsetting is that my cousin was supposed to be with him that night. It's fucking disgusting.
He also got his two month shots today and was a little trooper about it.
And also, I took a picture of him today and I've finally realized he looks exactly like me, I'm so excited/ happy
