I am applying for jobs.
For a country famed for giving jobs to foreigners (according to the news, that is) the forms I have to fill in are not very accommodating of all my foreign-ness.

So far haven't been able to give the addresses of previous jobs or most of my qualifications.

Grrargh.

I have brownies in the oven right now they were the type with chocolate chips in it , I also added white chocolate chips, I hope it's yummy. If not at least I had fun making brownies with my daughter

Oooh I might have found the perfect solution for daycare for my dd. I have friends that have twins that are a little older than dd and their mom is a sahm and would be the perfect care taker. I sure hope they say yes!

I got my iud a week ago. You ladies talking about birth control reminded me. I did mini pill after dd and could never remember to take it on time so this time Iud. Since I got it having an orgasm hurts a little. Have any of you who have had Iud experienced that? DH thinks my body just needs to get used to it. But I hate it, I could call my midwife but feel dumb if it is part of adjusting

I did not catch up on the 300 comments I missed.

But I did have a pumpkin spice K cup at 5pm at my MILs house and now I feel all jittery and weird. Coffee usually doesn't have this effect on me.

Had a playdate with 2 other moms and their kids who live in our neighborhood. It was fun, except DS1 wanted to play by himself the whole time… It was nice to have other working moms to talk to!

I must admit, reading all these posts complaining about your DHs makes me feel better about having no one around.

Don't get me wrong I feel bad you ladies are dealing with all that, but it's so nice not having that stress on top of new baby stress.. :-??

Mine was just a vent - my DH is awesome - but sometimes he can be a turd, especially when he thinks the weekends are for relaxation. I calmly reminded him that he's not going to relax much for the next 18 years.

Oh i know most of them are, i didnt mean it in a bitchy way, more for myself lol :P

You're right!  Sorry about that ladies.  I was looking at the chart on my phone and I saw "September" at the top, so assumed it was my chart for last September.  Just checked on the computer and it started September 26 and went into October.  Didn't see that on the mobile version.  Another reason I hate using my phone for things like that.  Important info get cut off on those smaller screens!  Can't wait to get my ipad back.

Today is my last day of maternity leave and I'm spending it trying to get into someone at my dr's office because I'm pretty sure I have a sinus infection. I have to call back in two hours because my dr just happens to be out today so they won't know until then if I can get in to see the Nurse practitioner. This is fantastic. I'm really praying I don't have to end up going to urgent care and waiting in line for who knows how long. I want to spend time with my baby!

I think she means that it embarrassed her and made her uncomfortable that her step dad gave out her personal number to someone she did not wish to talk to. This person called her out of the blue and it was uncomfortable causing her to be offended.. Just like she said. @Nichole8787‌ That would annoy that shit out of me and would offend me as well! I'm sorry he did that!

@browneyedtornado I don't think he meant it as anything but helpful. It was just strange to receive a call from someone you've never even heard of to talk to you about your finances and marriage. I think he was just trying to get me in touch with someone around my age that is now debt free but I'm really private when it comes to those issues. I don't have any debt but student debt so that's not the problem I just don't think it's appropriate to discuss finances so freely with someone you don't know.

I got a horrible illness my last week of maternity leave. Today marks the beginning of week 5 with this fucking upper respiratory bullshit cough bronchitis with a bacterial infection (right after having thrush). FUCK YOU, SICKNESS! I'm still bitter. This couldn't have come at a worse time. 

I wonder if nursing weakens your immune system?

@ghostof5letters‌ Lord, I hope not! I don't want to think about cold/flu season if that's the case! I assumed mine is weak because of the lack of sleep. DD didn't want to sleep at all last week, so I hardly got any. The last 3 nights I've done really well, but I started feeling back right before then, so I think it was too late for my immune system.

I got a pedicure on Saturday. I broke my toenail funky on the big toe, and they superglued a fake nail onto the big toe. You can't tell, but I am obsessing about it.

I understand now. My confusion had more to do with my lack of energy. I was thinking he was all "call my daughter she needs help" either way that's really uncomfortable. I would not be pleased about that either.

I mainly stay at home, but once a week have to go out for work. DS's 2 month visit was set for a day I had to go out. I had someone cover for me so I could stay home with him. He was a bit fussy but basically slept all day after his appt. I found he was actually fussier after 6pm and into the night. He woke up 3 times that night. So I probably could've gone to work and he would've been fine, but I did enjoy the extra snuggling!

Um, I'm just sitting over here getting excited for when it will be socially acceptable to wear boots in Phoenix. It's so tempting but it's still over 100 degrees. So jealous. In other news, I have to go to a baby shower for another teacher at my school. Holy balls, I just finished looking at her registry, and I am exhausted. You could definitely tell she is a ftm, because as I'm scrolling I kept track of all the things I never used that she registered for. I feel kinda mean.

I'm a ftm and probably did this some but I know not much. I have a friend who is pregnant and keeps asking me if she needs all this total Crap. I tell her no she argues and/or says well it couldn't hurt....that's fine just get it but don't ask me my opinion. If you need 3 damn different types of swings go for it. It's your clutter but don't expect me to affirm that they are all necessary.

So I'm sitting at the office for my first pump session on my first day back. I'm trying to not keep looking down at the bottles being paranoid that I'm pumping enough! I'm sure that stress doesn't help my output at all. And then to think I have to do this two more times today. Ugh.

My best friend gave birth to a 8.1lb 22in baby boy, at home, last night after 28hrs of labor. They named him "xyz" the fifth. Yep..the FIFTH. Im super happy for her, but jealous at the same time. I would happily trade 8hrs of labor at 29 weeks for 28hrs at 41 weeks. It makes me ragey when I hear things like "you were so lucky to have a short labor" or "he was so small i bet it didnt even hurt to push him out".
