Sitting in the social security office to finally request a name change and this place is packed. How dumb is it that they're only open from 9 to 3? What working individual can make it here during those hours?! That's old people, retired with nothing to do hours! Ugh! I have to be back to work by 11:30.. Meaning out of here by 11...dont see it happening and I'm not happy about having to wait until another free day months from now to get this done.

@kkleigh10 I tried that first and the office mailed it back saying they didn't accept photocopies for identification. FML.

Thanks for the input ladies!! We actually just exchanged emails this morning about discussing some upcoming projects so I think I will take this opportunity to tell her as well, since it is our most formal phone con on the schedule. Fortunately (unfortunately?) we will 1000% be moving, my husband is active duty and will be re-stationed next Spring. Luckily I have been upfront with that from the get-go, but training a possible replacement will need to be decided so I think I'll just be upfront with her about wanting to make it a smooth transition!
@kkleigh10 I know... I didn't see that there either... How can you mail in identification without a photocopy? Who in their right mind would send their actually ID?!

I went to Old Navy yesterday and found that they brought back the maternity section! Woot woot! I bought a dress, two tees, and yoga pants. I really don't feel like I am showing but someone posted a picture from my parents party and both my husband and mother mentioned that I have a bump in it. I think I am just standing with my stomach out. OH! And three people rubbed my belly! THREE! WTF is that? You're literally rubbing the meatballs I just ate...
QOTD: 2. I have always wanted two and still do... who knows if that will change since I am a FTM.
I haven't been sleeping well at ALL because I can only sleep on my stomach, and that is just not happening these days. This weekend, I slept AMAZINGLY Saturday & Sunday night! Gah, I just wanted to stay there all day!
QOTD: Originally we actually wanted none, but then decided 2 would be perfect.
@musicgirl524 I think you will be okay... but you could always warm the sandwich (or just the meat) in the microwave to make you feel better.

Speaking of food, there was no breakfast at our all hands meeting this morning. I also realized I *don't* have a meal in the freezer for lunch like I thought so.....I'm ready for lunch asap. Where to go, where to go!
My boyfriend's mom seems to have finally gotten on board with the pregnancy! She used to just avoid talking about it & now she talks about it pretty happily with her sisters! Yay!
I have always wanted, like, six kids. As many as I can pop out.
This picking up a quick lunch on my way back to work thing isn't going so well... I'm going to be late and will barely have time to eat my lunch. Not looking like a good afternoon even after the wonderful appt I had.
ETA : it's the lady in front of me fault... She order 20 damn tenders.

Question: it's cold so I'm going to switch from iced to hot coffee today. I'm firmly on team anti-pumpkin drinks (I think they're gross and it annoys me how people freak out about them). Would it make me a traitor to the cause if I got a pumpkin muffin? I love me some baked goods.
On a related-but-unrelated note: during yesterday's Patriots game, my fanatical football fan father put the game on pause to tell me that Pumpkin coffee is now available at Dunkin' Donuts and he loves it. This is a guy who has drank Maxwell House from a canister his entire life -- because he thinks it's delicious. The apocalypse is here.
I am SO anti-pumpkin drinks and food. It does not make things taste better. I do not get it.
My husband has more pregnancy cravings than I do. He's ridiculous! We do our grocery shopping on Sundays, and yesterday he HAD TO HAVE (yes, that badly) the Lays
Cappuccino chips AND Sour Patch Kids candies. I'll admit I'm a SPK fan, buthte smell of the chips was vomit worthy and the co
@musicgirl524 I think you will be okay... but you could always warm the sandwich (or just the meat) in the microwave to make you feel better.
Ya that's what I was thinking--but I'm guessing it would probably have to be the whole sandwich (since the meat has been touching the other stuff). Like I said, I swear I do NOT normally freak out about stuff like this! But even @ChickenOnSunday's The Pregnant Chicken seemed to take the Listeria thing fairly seriously.
Listeria and deli meat are only widely known because of the one outbreak at Maple Leaf Foods back in 2010 or 2011. Other than that, there have been more problems with fruits and vegetables. I would honestly not worry about deli meats at all.
We had a Sunday evening wedding last night and it went way later than I thought it would. And we left early. Who serves dinner at 8pm on a Sunday?!? I'm an old fart. Anyway I'm exhausted.
Found out my BIL is smoking again, after quiting for 3 years. WTF! You have 2 little girls and they deserve better. Sorry I hate smokers.
QOTD: 2. If finances were not an issue, maybe 3, but 2 will be it for us.
A/S 2.0 tomorrow morning. I love seeing this little one!

I just wanted to say thank you to all you ladies. >:D< I've been lurking on other boards, and I'm so turned off how some regs feel the need to drop f-bombs every other sentence to make a point. It just seems like they try so hard to make their point stronger by cussing out people. Even if I completely agree on the point of view they might have, I automatically think less of that particular persons answer.
Even when f15 strongly disagree on topics, everyone does an awesome job of articulating their answers. That's why I like it best here. :x
I woke up thinking about all of you with A/S scans today. I hope you are all able to see healthy babies and they give you a nice crotch shot if you are finding out the sex! Although I already found out the sex at an elective U/S I am very anxious for my A/S to make sure that bub is growing and healthy. It's also bittersweet to me to know that this is the last time I will "see" him before he's outside!
QOTD: I always wanted three, but I am going to see how having two goes and then decide. DH only wants two but is open to a third depending on how we're doing financially when the time comes to make that decision. I have always wanted to adopt so if we do decide for a third I will look into that possibility.
F15 Siggy Challenge: What You're Looking Forward to Most After Baby Arrives: BELLY SLEEPING!
So DH is officially gone on a business trip to wine country until Friday. And I've got my busiest week in the world this week....
I just registered the girls for gymnastics (well, not Amanda, since she's not walking yet, haha) and swim lessons, which are monday and wednesday nights, I have an interview with the daycare I think we're going to put Marnie in two days a week tonight. So overall, this week I have:
Monday: Amanda's swim lessons and daycare interview Tuesday: Knit night until 9pm Wednesday: Swim lessons Thursday: 730am Downtown Business Association Meeting - 6pm Knitting classes
And in the store Monday through Saturday (10am to 5pm).
I just told my husband that I don't really even have a "job" and my schedule is filling up like crazy.
I think by the time he gets home I'm going to deserve a Sunday morning by myself (not in the house) with a cup of coffee and a book.
QOTD: I've always wanted three, but we were considering stopping at two because Amanda is a very high-needs child, and can be exhausting all on her own. But...... "happy accidents" happen, so I guess we're having three by default.

Took Ella to an indoor play place this morning. It is 2 hours past normal nap time and she is still in her room chatting and singing away. Thought she would have been nice and tired out... apparently not.
QOTD: I would like 3. DH has always said 2. But now that we will have two girls, he may be open to a third because I know he was hoping for a boy just a little bit. We'll see what happens!
I actually never wanted kids before this year. DH has always wanted kids and he thinks he wants 2, but would settle for 1 knowing it was hard work to convince me. My mindset changed when my career suffered a train wreck in the last 2 years. I began to believe I need to focus my energy on us and our happiness instead and so here I am with my bump. I know I'm very blessed that I got pregnant almost immediately after we decided to try for one.
I say frickin' too. I don't want to get in the habit of speaking the way I don't want DS too... Hard since I used to work in a restaurant!
I was just saying this because some posters try make their opinions seem more valid by stuffing it with language. When usually simplicity has more strength.
How exciting!! I'm cranky lol. Who wants a cat? The licking itself and wanting to play at night b/w no sleeping is killing me! I know I know just wait with a newborn
QOTD: 3
Hahaha this reminds me of how pissed I'd get at my cat when I was pregnant with my twins. He'd sleep at the foot of the bed normally, but I started kicking him out of the bedroom because he would always obnoxiously lick himself. He was worse than a dog, all the noisy licking. It was hard enough getting comfortable, so when he started doing that, I had no tolerance. DH was amused.
QOTD: I actually didn't want any kids at least until I was "older"...that was when I was 31. I got KU (ignored the red light on my Lady COMP thermometer) with twins when I was 32. Lol And now I'm having my third. Funny how things can change in such a short time!

GUYS (ok sorry I posted three times in a row, had to catch up), work call went very well!! Supervisor and big boss were both very happy, said not to worry about work, we can discuss details when the time comes. I think big boss wants to use my salary funding for someone else when I go so she doesn't care Thanks for the support and advice, whew! Glad that's over.

It's not like each child gets a piece of the love pie until all the slices are gone. With each new kid it's like you get a whole new pie!
