I just got home from my AS! I posted in the stick as well, but I'm being an AW so I'll share here too. Everything looks perfect and healthy and wonderful with our baby BOY! We are so thrilled. I just keep thinking "there's a boy in there!"

DH was very happy to hear about such a wonderful appt with the girls today. We just want them here already (but are in no way really prepared for them to appear).

Just used the baby against my husband to guilt him into getting the food I want (Panda Express). I really really want those chow mein noodles.

Holy moly did I nest today. Cleaned the whole first level, made roasted chicken potatoes and green beans, 2 loads of laundry, and made homemade apple crisp with homemade caramel to pour on top And DH came home with 3 boxes of diapers. He said he wanted to buy something for the baby,but since we don't know the sex this was the best idea he could think of. Mhm it's been a good day.

So we have gotten back from out appointment, buying some food, and a bit of baby shopping.

I don't really want to post this in the sex thread so I'm going to post it here.

We are team BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

DH, DD, MIL, DH's grandma, and my dad and stepmom where all there. The tech was asking us so what do you guys think it is. EVeryone was saying oh I dont know but we want a boy.

Literally when the tech said boy everyone screamed in the room.

DH just kept giggling to himself he was so happy.

So DH had worked ever since graduating high school. He is now the Chief Technical Officer of a small technology business. He is in school now online for a Bachelors of Commerce & Entrepreneurship and the prof of his Entrepreneurship course this semester has given him an awful time.

Today he had a prof from the local university in his office pitching him an idea as a potential client, and she asked him to come give a guest lecture to her Entrepreneurship class!!! I am so proud. I always told him he was smart enough to be teaching these courses!

Apparently they are working on the apartment next door/downstairs from us and that includes a lot of drilling.  Ugh worse headache ever!!!

I literally just cried for 10 minutes because my husband just told me that he tried buying some food at a taco truck earlier today because he was still starving after he had eaten all the lunch I sent him with this morning. He didn't know that I borrowed $15 from his bank account for lunch for myself and my mom today, so he didn't have enough left over on his card and it declined at the truck.

He tells me its ok, he's not mad, and he's fine; but I still feel aweful that he was hungry and didn't have any money for food today. I'm tearing up again right now as I write this. When are the hormones going to stop?

Posted this in the a/s thread too: we had a good appointment except the dr was stuck in traffic so he never got there to go over results. The tech said all looked well though! My OB will review them when they are sent to her.

And we are happy to say we're having another girl!! Couldn't be happier!

@ChickenOnSunday‌ the rest is in a savings account, which he couldn't access because he doesn't have any cell coverage where he works. So he couldn't quickly transfer money or call me to do it.

Wohoo finally some good news.  We got our orders approved (have to leave earlier than expected due to baby Godzilla).  We will be moving in November and making a stopover in Hawaii for a week as a babymoon!

I'm going crazy waiting to find out the sex. I'm not add worried about health because, honestly, I just feel like everything's ok (no one ruin that for me). Every time I see someone post boy or girl I really want what they post. Girl? I want a girl with frilly pink and purple and pigtails. Boy? I want a boy, I already have everything I need and I know I make perfect little boys.

Poor buddy must have had a hard day. My dog is in a serious deep sleep snoring his heart out. I want to push him so he wakes up, but he seems so exhausted. Lol

I didn't know it was his last money at the time. I only found out after he had told me. I didn't think to check the account. But I will from now on.

Is it bad to feel accomplished for having read all this and caught up now... when it's not even still Monday in Eastern Time?  

I had a crazy busy day, in part because my husband was supposed to be back from his work trip today, but got "stranded" in Stockholm. Quote marks because, frankly, a 17-hour layover in a nice European city where the airline got you a hotel and everyone speaks English and is generally lovely sounds kinda amazing to me right now! But he is for sure on a plane heading back now, and every text he's sent me in the last two days is about how much he misses our kid, so I think that means I get to basically disappear for a long date with our bathtub and a box of chocolates tomorrow evening while he takes care of her.

Also, can't lie: the best thing that happened to me today was Nick Foles. That Napoleon Dynamite lookalike and his second half comebacks has helped me get to 2-0 in my fantasy league, and this week, I only won by 3 pts, so it really came down to the wire!

QOTD: I'm an only child and always liked it, so I wanted either none or one when I was growing up. My husband is the oldest of two and kinda always thought we'd have two. The first six months of my daughter's life were really harrowing for us (nothing major, she just cried and cried and cried), and we basically decided then that we were so done. 

Of course, the following 2 1/2 years have been kinda magical (seriously, she's been such a great toddler that I fear we're really in for it with this second one!), and so we convinced each other to go for two. But after this? DONE.

I personally wouldn't even have been taking the $15 whether from checking or savings because 1) If there's only that much in checking, refer to @ChickenonSunday OP. and 2)You shouldn't be living off of the savings with a baby on the way...that's why you're saving? Right?

But you sound like you have it under control, so carry on.

or maybe keep more than $15 balance in your checking account.  What if there was a real emergecny (out of gas, car broke down) and he didnt have cell access to move money?

It was just all one big mishap that caused me to have a meltdown due to hormones. Hubby was fine, there was no emergency, he was just hungry.

Yes, we are saving for baby. Yes, we have come up with a solution to avoid this issue in the future. Yes, we are just fine financially. Thank you all for the concern. I was just so taken aback by the fact that I had a meltdown as I hadn't had one since before finding out we were expecting.
