Re: Fffc

  • @psychdoc12‌ Just to be clear, you are judging me because our tolerance level and/or definition of "glass" might vary?
No. I was trying to say that maybe the situation I was envisioning was not the situation you had. Nevermind. Drink away.

Ahaha! They remember the Alamo, not save it!
    Damn it. #imdrunk #featherweightstatus
    Cheers. #clink
  • I can see @psychodocs categories now: CPS needs to be called parents, only one parent shall be locked away forever for their drinking, and then of course her group the holier than thous.
Not quite. Obviously there are others that see my point. If you disagree, fine.

Relax, they're grouped in with the holier than thous.
I don't consider myself holier than thou. I guess they can speak for themselves if they want.

  • Phew, what a thread today!

@acethebase‌ Hugs to you. I saw a therapist after we lost our twin and it was helpful. Take care of you!

    @tashad18‌ Congrats!

@NRyan55‌ I fell in love with you today.

My confession mirrors others--super jelly of the BFPs!! Were NTNP, but I'm broken and we're IVFers. Annoyed that we're now OOP and that's what's preventing is from trying another cycle right now. We both have major baby fever...even DH who wanted to be one and done...think his is worse than mine!

Oh, and @beernifer‌ your "humor" is repulsive.

To me, being "extremely drunk" means that I wouldn't be able to hold DD without dropping her or falling over. So I wouldn't be comfortable with both me and DH being in that state.

By my definition of the term "extremely drunk", if someone were able to hold and walk with a child reliably, they probably aren't extremely drunk.

I think that is probably @psychdoc12's point... maybe this is all just people having different interpretations of that term.
Exactly. I think of extremely drunk as sloppy, falling down, blacking out, definitely not fit to care for a baby...

The judgement is strong in this thread, so I'm not getting involved in anything controversial. I give no shits about whether you all approve of my actions as a mom, which is why I decline to participate in most parenting-related threads. I just came here to send @acethebase‌ #allthehugs.

Thank you @rsigler‌ <3 I've always looked up to you for being so strong. Sending love and support back!

Taylor pass me a beer, I need it to read the responses to you being a responsible adult, drinking at home, then banging your husband.  Your night sounds a lot better, Im sure, then most of the people judging you had.
    I'm shocked.

    Lolzzzzzz all over this thread.

Given that my ex thinks chid support is optional, I LITrally have no monies but that means I don't have much furniture or cable or a tv. It doesn't mean I scrimp on MILK. Give me your address. Ill send you milk money.

Does he work? Can't they garnish his wages?

Self employed. But my county puts people in jail for nonpayment so we'll see what happens ...

Gotcha. Sucks. They might also be able to suspend licenses (driver's, hunting, fishing, professional, etc.) and/or intercept his tax returns.

Seriously, what @petdoc12 said. No one was even being judgmental or rude about it. Everyone is getting so defensive about this - I don't get it. I don't think it's that crazy to suggest that there at least be 1 adult in the house who can pick up a crying baby if need be. And if you say you can, then that means you aren't black-out drunk, and this isn't even a conversation.

This is the most bizarre argument I have seen on TB.
