@kaking78 - what your mentioned are automatic exemptions. Usually they also have reasons you can be excused. In my state you would have to show up for duty and then the judge would either excuse you or postpone your duty to another later session. We don't have a specific exclusion for nursing but I have seen jurors excused based on the judge's discretion for that reason.

So my brother is much younger than me. I have noticed with his buddies they are way more touchy feely and affectionate than guys of my generation were. A lot of the Larry "evidence" seems like stuff they would do. Homoeroticism seems like a huge joke all the time. Of course, my bro is gay, but his HS friends most definitely were not.

I've served on Jury Duty before. Just a 3 day trial, but I loved it. Everyone thinks I'm crazy when I say that, but it was a cool experience.

DS1 is going to grandmas overnight one day next week.
LO and I are going to Toronto with DH while he has meetings.
I'm not sure what I will do at the moment, but I do plan to swim at the hotel's awesome pool.
I hope the weather is nice.

Ugh @younglove316‌ that is such a catch 22! Do you need the money? If you absolutely need the money, I would say hope for it, but if not put it in fate's hands. Accept that what ever is meant to be will be. If you get and it and hate it, then quit?

@Jt7dreamz‌ We did 7 hours she did really well. The first few nights she wanted to party around 2 am, and she had trouble going down for her 1pm nap, but it really was better than I expected. She had an easier time the. E--I think because of the napping.

Don't feel guilty! MH and I are planning to take a half day off together and go get massages and lunch while LO is at daycare. Of course we can't find a day that works for both of us until November, but eventually we will get to have one fun adults only day.

My son now has a nickname at daycare: The Lady's Man. I didn't realize it until recently but in a room of 12 babies there are only 2 boys and he's the flirty one all of the girl babies are fascinated with.

I am not looking forward to his teenage years.

It's complicated. But basically my FIL needs the help with my mil being sick (she's getting her ass kicked by some meds apparently) so I'm staying with them until Dh is done at his job (last day of jan) then he will reapply for same position different center and help out FIL with his farm/business until things fix themselves.

Basically- huge leap of faith because right now MIl needs help.

Start collecting bail money.

It'll work out. And you'll get to be with your babies, which I know you'll love.

Good luck not killing your in-laws.

I generally try to do solids early enough in the day that I don't have to worry about any of it coming back up at night.
I know we don't all have the time mid-day (especially those who are working), but maybe try a bit earlier? (Or just reduce how much LO eats at one sitting?)

LO has been staring at our food a lot more lately. He was eyeing up DH's pizza last night. That would have been funny.
He got banana instead.

@bennieangel I posted something just like that yesterday. She would only take a 20 minute nap, wouldn't go down any other time I tried. On top of some other stress I just felt like a shitty mom and cried. She laughed at me crying.
LO got her first cold going to bed last night, which may have been what her crappy naps were about. Her nose was and is still is sooo junky. She would not sleep so dh and I took turns holding her and getting thirty minute increments of sleep. Today was the first in-office shift I picked up and it sucked after such an awful night.
I am dreading tonight. So much.

@bennieangel You're not alone. J is teething and maybe getting another cold. Last night he was up from 1:30 to 4. At 3:30 my husband damn near shoved me into the guest room to get some sleep because I was trying to tearfully reason with the baby: "Nothing I do makes you happy, so please quit crying and get some sleep. It's the only thing that will make you feel better. At least be quiet so mommy can sleep."

Speaking of crappy sleep, has anyone tried Zarbee's baby cough syrup? It appears to be nothing but agave nectar and preservatives but if it helps soothe a cough that's waking him at night I'll try it. It seems pretty popular on other boards according to a quick search of TB.
