I have some random gift cards to BRU from my shower that I've been sitting on to get a few things to put away for like Christmas or even easter, and I came across a tiny kitchen set for 6 months (so, easter would be ok). And I was like "is that sexist?" But, my honest thought was I'd like her to have a little kitchen set because I loved it when I was little, and she can have it right in the dining room (which is open to the kitchen) so she can "cook" with daddy. Mommy doesn't cook. At all.

I also had a little tool bench when I was little. So, I'd like to get one of those, too. Then I thought....if this was a boy, would I get a kitchen set? I don't know. I think so. In either case, I'm not getting a pink/purple one. I'm so tired of everything being pink. TIRED. And she's not even here yet. EVERYTHING I have purchased has been neutral. EVERYTHING.

Except for the headbands.

DS1's Christmas wish list includes a play vacuum and a kitchen. Here is a shameless AW of him with his favorite toy.

I managed to fall back to sleep! It was one really weird hour in dreamland, but I am glad I did.

@golfingdarwinfish‌ I know, it's crazy. My work is pretty cool and gives us 1 month pre delivery. I am really happy for that as I would have just worked through.

I last showered Monday morning. I *might* shower tonight. I just can't be motivated since I don't go anywhere and it takes so much energy. Maybe I'll make FI shower with me. That way I can just stand there while he does all the work.

That sounds like a good plan! I used to love showering with DH because he would take like 20 minutes just to wash my hair.

I had the weirdest sensation in my butt/perineum area last night. It was like a muscle spasm, but so fast it was more like I was sitting on my phone while the alarm was going off. SO WEIRD! It lasted for at least a minute and happened a few times.

I like that he scrubs my back really well for like 10 minutes. Feels amazing. And when we get out, he lotions me mu, too.

Sorry to all of the ladies feeling like crap, but add me to the list of those in foul moods. It's HOT AGAIN in my office! It's only 73 degrees outside, why does it feel like 90 in here!?!?

And work is annoying me. I'm sitting here yet again for like the fourth day in a row with NOTHING to do, why am I here? I've been begging for more work for almost a year and no one can find me anything, yet they keep hiring staff left and right.

I shower pretty much every day, but I might skip a day every once in awhile. My legs, on the other hand, haven't been shaved in 2 weeks and I'm currently rocking capri pants. Waddup.

Someday you will! At first it meant waiting until kids were in bed, but now they are old enough to leave unattended. You'll get there!

Happy three year anniversary to me and my husband!!
Five weeks and five days tell hopefully I sleep more comfortable at night. Maybe not much sleep but at least my hips won't hurt and my arms won't go to sleep.

1) I'm lucky if I shower every other day...however I do buy the vagina freshen up wipes (I can't remember the real name....) and use those all the time. Things just feel nasty down there...but the thought of taking a shower overwhelms me!

2) I am "working from home" today. I am over going into the office. However, I don't trust the minions under me to do the work when I'm not there. Even when I have been in the office this week I just don't trust them. I'm ready for the most senior minion to get back from vacation so I can go back to not paying attention to them!

3) THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY DAY was I decided to treat myself to a pumpkin spice latte on the way home, and a pumpkin muffin. The pumpkin muffin was still frozen in the middle, which they told me when they gave it to me. Then they handed me a coupon for a free beverage on my next visit, so I was pretty excited!!! I guess that means I need to get another one next week!!!

DS1 totally had a play kitchen when he was little, and now he brings me breakfast in bed. At 11yrs old he LOVES to cook and has taken up cooking supper every other Saturday for the family.

Obviously I say go for it.

three things learned today:

1.) Don't trust anyone you work with. I bitched to a co worker ( that I have always been friendly with) that i'm annoyed they are asking me to now do cardiac preps (which involve having to shave a woman's groin, legs and chest for cardiac surgery) and how I really don't want to do them. And she ran to my manager to tell him I am refusing to do anymore. Long story short, I just got a lecture about team work and how we all have to do things that maybe uncomfortable and no one likes doing.

2.) I FINALLY HAVE MY SECTION SCHEDULED!

3.) baby is already estimated at 4 lbs. Dr said it will be a big baby. I don't have a problem because I won' t have to push it out of my ho ha. but for some reason people are acting like I should be nervous. Big babies seem less fragile in my mind.

Well, I purchased the play kitchen, because it was $29.99, but on sale for like $16 something, plus I had 15% off. This baby is a girl, but obviously unless she DESTROYS everything in the house, I'm thinking forward to Next Baby. Next Baby is going to get so screwed. He/She will get nothing new. SORRY NEW BABY.

I shower every other day and have for years. The real reason is I hate doing my hair, even though it only takes 10 minutes, but I am also increasingly lazy and unmotivated. I just use witch hazel in a spray bottle to freshen up.

The closer I get to my EDD, the more terrified I am by the thought of going through labor and actually having/raising a baby without DH, even though my mom and MIL will be around a lot. I just try to stay distracted and not think about it, but then I fear what I'll say/do while actually in labor. He and I never really got as far as talking about L&D (since he died at the end of second tri), so I've had to make a lot of those decisions myself and it's been harder than I thought. Trying to stay positive, at least about the baby.

It's also my 30th birthday in 12 days and I'm not feeling very celebratory.

Here, have a photo of my mom's cat to make up for my constant downer-ness:

I shower every day, but not by choice. I have fine hair that turns all nasty and greasy by the end of the day and even dry shampoo doesn't help much. I was just thinking this morning that it isn't fair that I have to shower every day. I am jealous of the non-showerers!
