    I used to go there a lot with my grandparents during the summer. They never seemed bored because they had fun just being with us (they were in their 60's then). I just checked the website, and there's a couple things they might enjoy but not many.

    There's only one show I see called Texas Justice - Western Comedy Gunfight Show, and then there's something called Boomtown Depot. It's a steam engine ride.

    I wouldn't go if I didn't like rides. It will be thick with annoying families and it's too hot right now. They re-open the park in December for Christmas and that would be fun!
    This. It's really all about the rides. Fiesta Texas (also part of the 6F family) in San Antonio is a little more show-heavy, but not by a ton.

    One of my good friend's husbands threw dollar bills at DD when she was 18 mo and dancing to a song at a Friendsgiving Party (she was doing an adorable little booty shake..but obviously oblivious it was even a booth shske, bc: 18 MONTHS!). DH is still livid almost a year later.

    @LuckySquare‌ I would have cried too...and probably thrown a drink in their faces.

    Ok crafty ladies...  A friend of mine had twins that were in the NICU when they were born, and she is doing a quilt/blanket donation project.  They can be super small, but if anyone is interested let me know and I'll send you more details. 

    I'm hoping to see lots of "latex YGPM" posts when I return.  :)

    My dogs are driving me nuts. They are selling the house next door and since I essentially live in a glass house, they can see all the comings and goings and won't. stop. barking.

    I thought it was tradition for the babies to wear some kind of gown regardless of gender. Maybe an antiquated tradition but I thought it was neat that it's the one I wore. Thoughts?

    My LO also wore a gown that has been passed down in our family. It is also tradition to wear a gown regardless of gender.

    When we got DS baptized there were two babies getting baptized. The other baby was in a gown and DS was in a sweater vest. Lutheran service, but idk how much that matters.
