Uggghhh I'm in such a mood. I'm pissy and tired and taking out my stress on DH for no reason. Does this ever happen where you KNOW in your rational mind that you're being a huge bitch for no reason but you just can't stop it? My brain is going "omg stoooppp you're such a mean jerk" and my mouth is saying otherwise?
I need to go to bed.
This would happen occasionally with my ex fiancé. I eventually realized it was PMS

This is me half the time, if not more. Last night, in fact, we could hear Edolie stirring on the monitor, and I asked my husband to go tend to her. He went in there and picked her up, which I never do because I don't want to fully wake her up. I went in there to check on them and saw him picking her up and said, "You don't know her at all!........... I'm sorry, that was mean!" X_X
@chichi589 Thank you so much, that means a lot to me.

I think DH is finally starting to see that his new job venture isn't working out as promised. On the plus side his last employer has been calling daily begging him to come back.
I hate that this new semester has started. I miss bath and bedtime on Monday and Wedneday. By the time I get home Dylan is already asleep. This and the fact that I work has a lot to do with why I've been dragging my feet to stop bringing him in bed with me. I just miss him so much.
((Hugs)) I am in the same boat, remember a semester is only 14 weeks or so. That is only 28 days that you're not there for bedtime and another 70 with him.

I was just feeding Carlene and she stops nursing to poop, then looks up at me with her poop face. I say "Oh, that's a big poop!"
Carlene gets all serious, says "Poooo" smiles, and goes back to eating. I know it was just baby babble, but I kind of want to embarrass her later in life by telling her that she started talking at 4 months old and her first word was poop.

Fed and put Edolie to sleep at 9, at 9:20 I took my brother somewhere and left my husband with her, and when I got back at 9:40, he was trying to get her back to sleep. I tried feeding her, and she kept pulling off the boob. I tried all different positions for bouncing and rocking, standing, singing, nothing was getting her back to sleep, and she was upset on and off. I finally just put her down in her sleeper, turned on her white noise and starlights, and she happily played in there for 10 minutes.
Of course at this point she was overtired. I tried feeding her again. She seemed hungry but kept pulling off the boob like before. My husband described to me what he heard on the monitor that made him go in to check on her, and the same thing just happened again. She had spit out her paci, he put it back in and rocked her. She spit it out coughing, he put it back in. This happened once or twice more, and she was getting more upset each time. Well I finally got her back to sleep around 11:15, and about 20 minutes ago this all happened again except worse.
Sorry for all the details, but I say all of this to say that I think reflux is the issue?? It never has been before, but the swallowing sounds she was making just now, how upset she was and in pain she seemed to be make me think it's an issue tonight. She's sleeping upright in my arms, and my husband lined her [already-elevated] sleeper with blankets to put her at more of an incline. But I don't wanna out her down. It was so scary what happened. She was choking at one point because she was crying so hard but trying to get something up at the same time! Ugh. (

That's what I'm contemplating doing. I got my feet on the ottoman, we're all covered up, and I might camp here tonight. She just did it again but slept through it since she's sleeping in a sitting-like position. It could be a long night. (:| I'll call in the morning for sure. I'm hoping it's like what you said - more of a heartburn type incident.
Your little guy can't just turn his head to the side with his wubbanub in while on his belly?
February Siggy Challenge: Favorite TV couple ~ Jim & Pam
I hope you're able to get some sleep, Jodi! I have baby girl in her sleeper now and am going to monitor how she does in there while sleeping and coughing. I wasn't this paranoid when she had a cold when she was a lot younger! But I don't think those SIDS stories helped any.
February Siggy Challenge: Favorite TV couple ~ Jim & Pam
All of these sad stories ( now feeling worse about bed sharing the last few weeks. It's been the only way DS will sleep. But I'll admit that I've been really tired and not feeling super patient with having him sleep in the crib either. He wakes up every hour that way...
Right here with you. *huggle*
A14 Siggy Challenge (November): Favorite Fall Smell
Well, that was rough. DS wakes up frequently but is usually easy to put down. Not last night. Fought for over two hours to get him down, and he'd be down only 20-30 minutes tops before flipping out again, and that was in his crib - couldn't get him down in the P&P at all! Usually he does naps in the crib and nights in the P&P. So finally I just took him to bed with me and nursed him to sleep (we're trying to break that habit ).
He might have slept longer than two hours then, but DH did not feed and remove the cat from our room before going to bed, so I had to get up and do it. I was sooooo mad, the baby woke up because I got up, and then after that he was up every hour. Ugh.
Good news though, band rehearsals start today, so DH gets to do bedtime by his lonesome. Enjoy, dude.
There is no peace in this world when you have a 4 year old.
We are out fishing right now and DS is sleeping in his stroller nice and quietly, I'm sitting in the back of the truck relaxing and what does DD do? She decides it's a great time to use her cup as a microphone right next to him and then proceeds to shake the stroller to see if he's asleep. Then she says "he's awake mom!"
I didn't even bother to clean because no matter what she would still comment on how much cleaner it should be. Which is ironic because her house is filthy and I'm pretty sure she hasn't changed the sheets in the guest room or cleaned the toilet EVER.
OMG. DH twisted his ankle while running an hour ago. Fine, I get him some ice and make sure he's settled. I say I'm going to run some errands I already had plans to do, and he's all 'don't leave me alone with him, I can barely move!'
Uhhhh he's a baby, you don't need to go anywhere. Put him on his mat 3 feet away from you.
What I really want to say is 'remember when I pushed a human out of my vagina med-free and was home 3 hours later? REMEMBER THAT? Shut the fuck up. You'll be fine.'
Haha
I have told DH similar things, but replace vag with: "cut me in half to forcefully remove your giant children." After the 2nd c/s we came home and I had to take care if both kids and lift the 24lb toddler, because his "neck hurt". I told him I was going to make something else hurt worse. Stand on his bits then, maybe he'll be excused.
I feel like I'm turning the page on my PP hairloss. Yay! It's not coming out in baseball sized clumps anymore and I have a ton of tiny hairs along my hairline. I really thought I would go bald with the amount of hair that was coming out on a daily basis. Now...if I could figure out how to get LO to nap in his crib all would be right with the world.
I think DH is finally starting to see that his new job venture isn't working out as promised. On the plus side his last employer has been calling daily begging him to come back.
What does that mean for you moving? I hope that's still on!
He says he still wants to move to NC. I'm alone here 24/7 with the kids so I guess it doesn't mater where I'm alone at. And like I told him last night, me might have to move no mater what. They've been trucking in water to porterville the neighboring town since half the town has no water. That will soon be us. Worse case senerio I take the cat to the shelter and the kids, dog and I head to my folks and we live on the couch. His freind Will is from NC so that's how they've ended up there. The pervious employer has agreed to $30 an hour plus benifits if he and Will return.
The post office and I are not friends right now. I wanted to try Bluum, so I got a three month subscription. Well, the first box supposedly arrived at our house on 8/25. I have yet to see it. It seems it was delivered to a house a mile away, and the people at that address say they brought it to my house. I just want my box! Thankfully, if I can't find it then Bluum will ship another one, but I don't want to have that happen.
Finally got a bathrobe. Idk why I'm so excited, about it, but it's will be nice to have for the MOTN feedings. Also went to baby story time again at the library and DS really liked it. I guess we will have to make it a regular thing.
@ambarnett1@mommyofmac Thank y'all. I drifted off some time after 2, but woke up again to the same coughing fit around 3:30. I then realized she has A COLD or something like it. I don't know why, but I couldn't tell last night that that's all it was. I guess because it had just surfaced? Anyway... I woke my husband up, and we decided he would go get saline before work this morning. I readjusted her blankets, she had a couple more coughing fits, but we were able to sleep til almost 11:30! She's probably more rested than I am, but I was able to get an okay amount of sleep. Hoping this cold doesn't stick around long!
February Siggy Challenge: Favorite TV couple ~ Jim & Pam
@poru Thanks! That is exactly how it happened and what it sounded like. She had a cold when she was around 6-8 weeks (is it terrible that I can't remember exactly when?), but it didn't seem this bad. Or maybe I just blocked it out of my mind. I dunno. I felt she was too little to use baby Vick's, but I might try it now since she's older. Now that I'm thinking about it... With her first cold, she projectile vomited milk and mucus, and I didn't think it was ever going to stop! I'll prepare myself for the same this time, but hopefully with the advice you gave I can avoid that. :-S
@celticlullaby We moved a few weeks ago, so I'll have to dig around for our vaporizer. Hopefully it won't be too hard to find!

My mom doesn't usually have toilet paper (it's kind of a BYO situation) and washes her dishes in cold water, one drop of soap for the whole load. But god for fucking bid we have laundry on the couch.
