My 2.5 yo is driving me nuts today! He has been cranky all morning, but come naptime he is playing in his room instead of sleeping. And to top it off, he pooped on the floor. Grrr

Hard to believe it'll be 6 years ago this coming January. It was very difficult, but I was able to grieve and move forward. Now I'm happy with my life again!

My first MIL still struggles with the loss of my husband, and I believe she always will... Hurts forever, no matter how old they are. =((

I heard that a lot after my miscarriage. My SIL lost her 3 month old and even she says shit like that. It doesn't help anyone, especially someone who doesn't believe in god because it feels like people are just brushing off a persons tragedy. Thanks god, that was completely pointless but I suppose I should chalk it up to your mysterious ways and get over it.

This was probably was one of the worst things that was said to me after my MCs. It made me so mad to be told this by people, but then again people say stupid shit to families who have lost children.

The SIDS and "SIDS" stories are so horrifying and heartbreaking, and it seems like everyone knows of someone who has experienced it. My mom heard of someone at work who was sleeping in bed with her husband and their twins. The husband rolled over in his sleep and one of the twins suffocated. Shit like that is difficult for me to even type. It's hard to reconcile it, especially when you know how easily it could have been avoided.

Aw, thanks! It's nice to be thought of that way.

I'm just so thankful I had an amazing support system through it all. So many people were there for me and willing to do almost anything to help me out. I still felt alone at times, especially when others started moving on before I did, but I knew they were there if I needed them.

J just finished a 2.5 hour nap at home.

Daycare texted me today to tell me what awesome naps he had had there (3 naps at less than 30 minutes each).

This kid is an awesome napper, usually taking 2-3 2 hour naps a day. I feel so bad for him that he can't sleep better at daycare.

Hoooolllly shit it's tough to be a working Mama.

Props to those who have been doing it all along. You're rockstars.

I took LO to school for 8 hours today while I set up my classroom. Luckily all the other teachers are amazing and held her as soon as she made a peep. I wore her in the Ergo and got 99% of my list done. Talk about a kickass workout! 16 lb. baby + 8 hours of cardio = gnocchi in cream sauce and my own pint of Ben and Jerry's PB Core.

@reddawnsrevenge I also thought it was Thursday. I was panicking thinking I only have three more days until the new school year starts. Bonus day!

@poppyseedwindsor late to the game, but omgcongratsthatscrazywowwowowow!!!! You'd better stay here, I hear A15 has a crazy circ troll?

@mamrotu73 we always ask to paint the homes we rent, at least DS1 room. We tell the owners that we like to keep the paint in DS1 room the same wherever we move so he has stability. No one has cared yet.

I do have a house that I currently rent. My rental agreement states that the tenant may paint or make improvements but that plumbing or electrical must be done or inspected by licensed people or tenant will be responsible for any damage that occurs. Any improvements that are not easily removable when the tenant moves out need to be approved by me and I say whether they stay with the property or if the tenant has to take them and restore the property to its previous state.

I would gladly approve the stuff you mention. Wanna rent my house?

I hate that this new semester has started. I miss bath and bedtime on Monday and Wedneday. By the time I get home Dylan is already asleep. This and the fact that I work has a lot to do with why I've been dragging my feet to stop bringing him in bed with me. I just miss him so much.

Skipping a bit today, work has me a tad swamped. Hugs to those who need them.

So we've created this bedtime routine with dd, she has to read "wheels on the bus" and "five little monkeys jumping on the bed". DH spent 30 minutes trying to get her down tonight. He forgot to read the monkey book. He finally realizes it, reads it and she's out in 5 minutes.

Does this ever happen where you KNOW in your rational mind that you're being a huge bitch for no reason but you just can't stop it? My brain is going "omg stoooppp you're such a mean jerk" and my mouth is saying otherwise?
